We are not the authors of our thoughts, but through patient and consistent practice we may become the masters of them. Thought is a great river that flows from the unconscious to the conscious and we are simply observers who sit on the bank dangling our bare feet in its flow. We sit on the riverbank and observe what goes by, but we are not sure of the source of this great flow.

The reason I appear so calm and emotionless sometimes is because I know that if I say or do something I will have trouble later, and a peaceful life is something I appreciate.

We are not the dirt we are planted in, we are the light and the water we nourish ourselves from. We are the flowers we choose to be.”
