It's time for another season of your life... it's time for a new season. Another season is being created.

I believe giving up is part of life. We have to give up from time to time, to know how bad we want something. It sounds crazy but hear me out. No one likes accepting defeat. After you feel defeated, it’s as if everything you’ve worked for is gone. That defeat is your urge, your ambition. I’ve been defeated many times, but never stayed down. That defeat pushed me to be more than I even expected of myself. You have to get up when your down. I wish there was a secret I can share to let you know how I got up. It took me two years to see I was defeated and that I accepted it. I got up and enough was enough and I made something out of it. I now stand in my victory, I stand up proud and happy. It's not exactly where I want to be but I'm pushing to be great and greatness I'll shall be. My advice to everyone is to push, dream, and live. It's hard to live by these words but with prayer, ambition, and action there's nothing that can stop us.

Sometimes you have to shake a few things off

I was taught that everyone has a purpose in life… a purpose, a promise… something you were born to do. But what do you do when you don’t know your purpose? Or when you run from your purpose? It’s easier to escape reality then to face it. Trust me, I’ve been running so I know a little something about running. I ran from everything from relationships to my own dreams. They say “dream big” but they don’t tell you the consequences of dreaming so big. Don’t get me wrong, reach for the stars and be great, but be prepared for a fall because with every fall there’s a victory around the corner. I was a closed book and been writing for years but I refuse to a let anyone read anything it was just me and God. One day someone said your test will be others testimonies but I never understood till now. I’m ready to show the world who I am and what I been through, I’m ready to help the next generation to overcome their obstacles. You guys are not alone I been through it and I’m going through it. My purpose is to help and motivate to ensure you a peace a mind, to give you the strength and the push. It’s ok to dream big… if your dreams aren’t scaring you, then you’re not dreaming big enough. May your dreams be big and your worries small. We all have a purpose and maybe this obstacle, this hurt you going through is going to lead you to it. Be afraid of nothing, just take a deep breath and have faith. Your purpose is down the road waiting for you.

Let Go and Let God

You never know the second, minute, or the hour. Every breath, every moment and every smile, take it and hold it in. You were my friend. You were my sister. When talking to you, no matter how long it’s been since we talked, it’s as if we’ve never been apart. But now you’re gone. Who’s going to tell me “suck it up” or “it’s ok to cry ?” There’s a purpose and reason for everything… Who am I to question God? But who was I when I forgot to appreciate you more? I love you Always. R.I.P Kim forever my sister

Have you ever had a moment when everything was still. Everything is just still and you don’t know where to go. To the point you’re afraid to even take a breath and that it may even be a wrong move. Have you ever felt so hurt that tears couldn’t even replace the pain you feel. It’s normal right ??? I wish it was a normal feeling. Sometimes feeling numb is better than experiencing the true feelings. Running away from reality seem easier than facing it. Haitians have this saying “lè ou kon kouri men ou pa kon kache” (when you know how to run, but you don’t know how to hide.) So running away from the pain doesn’t make it go away because eventually you have to face it. So when is it the best time to face it? Honestly, there’s no timing. I can only provide and tell. I can’t tell you it’s going to be easy. It’s not easy, but you’ll know when the timing is right, you have to remember running doesn’t fix anything. It just gives you a little time before reality kicks in. So hold your breath and hold on tight. This lesson may be bumpy…

My journey may not be easy, but I know it’s worth it. Have you ever had those days when you ask yourself, “Is it really worth it?” When your doubts come rushing faster than you can even see it coming. Well that was a regular thing for me everyday. I had a plan, but behind every plan was a doubt. So when did my doubts stop coming? They never stopped. I decided that instead of being my biggest critic, I should be my own biggest fan. Trust me, it’s not easy. But with a lot of praying, self push and love I’m making it. This may be the hardest thing for anyone to do, but never let your fear dominate who you are or where you will be… Appreciate your fears, because it will lead you through an interesting journey. You don’t see it now, but it’s worth it.
