Why was Sissy made a villain in act 2? She was just trying to defend herself, holding strong the entire time, then all of a sudden it's the conversation with Milk that makes her snap and go ax crazy. I know Dream of Gluttony is popular with its fandom, but I'm an older player who's new to everything on the blog, and a lot of how everyone's characterization works both here and in the game rubs me the wrong way. Is Food Town meant to be a sanctuary or a prison? I'm confused.
Hi! Thank you for asking the question ^^!
I wouldn't say she becameΒ exactlyΒ a villain.Β She was tired and angryΒ andΒ inΒ general, she went through a lot of stuff and just wanted toΒ go backΒ home.Β But to call her a villain...Β wellΒ itΒ really depends on your point of view.
I didn't want to make this game all black and white by saying that people from the Food Town are bad and Sissy isΒ good,Β or the other way around. They were all tryingΒ their bestΒ to survive and live their best life, but sometimes it can hurt other people.
So my pointΒ is,Β that I tried to show that there are no straightforward villains.Β Or ratherΒ that anybody could be a villain for someone else under proper circumstances.
