I’ve turned down so many marriage proposal because I’m madly in love with him and my parents want us to be together despite the differences of our status

I’m still focusing on Corvus here, but more characters might come up

In my last post about Corvus, I stated that his tattoo could be his jinki (a conclusion that most, if not all, of the fandom has come to as well lol) . I also introduced the idea that it could be a permanent charm casted on him by one of the mayors of Canvas Town since we saw that Remlin was able to transform the city’s generational jinki at will — one of those changes being a tattoo machine

As we progress further into this arc, I’m definitely leaning into the idea that his tattoo is solely his jinki and not a casted charm.

The reason being?

Earlier on in the story, when Arkha is first introduced we’re able to see that the eye is sentient. When we reach Chapter 116, Corvus is having an in depth conversation with Rudo about the true mission of the Cleaners being to rid the world of trash beast to uncover the truths of their world. As their conversation progresses Corvus admits that he’s is using others to accomplish his goals and while Rudo acknowledges this fact as well, he states that “this man seems like he’s covered in mud, but is very sincere” which leads Rudo to say that he’s no longer Rudo the Spherite, but Rudo the Cleaner and that if giving Corvus what he wants gets him what he wants he’ll keep fight with them and that Arkha won’t regret it.

Arkha’s eye shows that he’s overwhelmed with emotion to the point of tears because someone who doesn’t know who he is or what he’s done has shown him the ultimate kindness and sincerity

So maybe it’s not a jinki that used as a defensive weapon (obviously), but as a form of protection (through discernment?). Also like I said in my first tangent it’s an eye in the back of his head which is literally a statement that’s used to describe “being very observant and aware of everything happening around you, even when you can't physically see it” (also I’m thinking that maybe there are other eyes painted that he can see through? Or maybe he can see through another person’s eyes?)

Moving on,

I’m curious to know what exactly happens when Arkha “processes his thoughts”

If we go back to chapter 115, it opens up with Semiu talking to Tamsy (my eye just started twitching) and Delmon about a new job request that had made its way to her desk

As they’re talking Semiu stops and says “oh you finally decided to leave your room” directed towards, what looks to be (in my opinion), a tired looking Arkha

She goes on to say that it took him four days to leave his room this time to which he responds with “sometimes I need alone time to process my thoughts” which now has me curious as to what exactly is going on in his mind (also it opens a new can of worms that maybe his jinki allows him to collect vast amounts of information at one time)

I’m also curious about the relationship between Tamsy (eye twitch) and Arkha.

Does Arkha know that Tamsy is being deceitful? He seemed keenly aware that Tamsy had taken Amo’s boots out of his vault, but he worded it as “someone took the shoes out of my vault” while looking directly at Tamsy with eyes that said “I know you took them” but never decisively saying that it was Tamsy, until Tamsy himself says “I don’t appreciate your use of the word “took”

Also in the latest chapter, they have another stare off when Tamsy enters arkha’s office.

Also Arkha hates “feeling frustrated when you can’t remember something” and I’m wondering if Tamsy has somehow erased some of Arkha’s memories because we know he has the ability to. He’s done it with Amo, but then again maybe I’m shooting in the dark here

ALSO WHAT THE HELL DOES ARKHA KNOW ABOUT FOLLO’S NEW ABILITY AS A GIVER?!?!?!?

WHY DID HE LOOK SO FULL OF SHOCK AND THEN CONCERN/CONTEMPLATIVE?

I’m so curious about Corvus.

We know so little about him and it’s driving me insane.

We know that he’s the boss of the cleaners (we also find out that he doesn’t even know why they call him that it just started one day and stuck), but was their formation his doing? Or was it already established and he just took over

Did he recruit Enjin? Or did Enjin find him and ask to become a cleaner? Also, we see that Enjin respects Arkah as a leader, but there has to be a reason why. Like sure Arkah is reliable, trustworthy, and charismatic, but anyone can be that and you not want to follow them.

Also, if the tattoo on the back of his head a spell he gained from a mayor in canvas town? It’s totally plausible because we saw that Remlin could turn the Pen into a tattoo machine. So another mayor could’ve done the same. Also, his tattoo moves. It’s literally an eye in the back of his head.

Also, I’m dying to know what his Jinki is because literally no hints have been given (if it’s his tattoo I’m going to scream because it would open the door or jinkis being more than physical objects)

Also, is Zodyl going to kill Corvus? Follow my thought train. Zodyl literally eats crows and if you look up what Corvus means/is it’s what they call the genus of birds like crows and raven (I could also be looking into this too deeply, but I love a good foreshadowing)

So for the month of September one manga recommendation I have (honestly the only manga rec) is, drum roll please 🥁. . .

This manga follows the story of a young boy named Rudo (Ludo is some translations) who collects trash illegally. He’s later framed for a crime he didn’t commit and is tossed out of Heaven into the Abyss where he must learn how to fight the creatures that reside there through the help of the janitors all in order to return home so he can clear his name

If you enjoy stories set in dystopian society that cover the harms of classism, includes some sprinkled humor, and well written characters then this is the story for you *winks like a car dealer in a commercial *. Also, if you enjoyed reading/watching Soul Eater or Fire Force you’re in luck because the mangaka of this story is the apprentice of Atsushi Okubo. Her name is Kei Urana and she’s amazing.

C : “Breathtaking”

It was the only word floating through my mind when I first saw him. He was this gorgeous, 6’5” man with these broad shoulders, and a body that was literally sculpted by the gods (yes I could tell through his suit). He also had this piercing gaze that made it seem like he knew everything about you without even have met you.

The smell of antiseptic fills his nose. Another sniffle, but he feels your shoulders start to calm as you look up at him. He cups your cheek and brings your lips to his.

“I’m okay. I promise”

Confusion fills your eyes as you look at him

“He’s been here the whole time. Did you not notice?”

The wind is gentle as it caresses your skin with soft, feather like touches, filling your nose with the scent of the vibrant blooms that surround you. The soft hum of the ocean waves lapping against the island’s rock face was a soothing lullaby in your ears.

And as you watch the referee raise Endo’s blood soaked hand in the air to declare him the victor, a sadistic gleam flashes in his eyes as his tongue spreads the blood on his lower lip around, and you can’t help but think that you’re next.

Your eyes scan his figure lazily, slowly assessing the damages done to his body — a split on his pouty bottom lip, ten ripped and bloody knuckles that would need to be wrapped, and a plethora of bruises that would only darken overtime.
