Umbroelle’s UmbroHell

I was originally going to draw myself carrying the recent asexual flag that Ashabi of Ace in Grace fame had designed this year, but I couldn't quite get the pose right and decided to pivot towards using the flag's color scheme to create a sunrise/sunset vibe and the imagery of an umbrella since asexuality is sometimes used as an umbrella term for a variety of asexual identities. I'm honored to stand with my fellow aces under a big umbrella together yay!!!

I might be working on a meaty Quest-related storyboard project at the moment, so I took a break to consider a distant possible future between Tari and Fros AND practice comic layout without fussing over dialogue. I ended up pulling a pose reference from Posemy.art and capturing it at different angles to support my vision; its free version has limits but I'd definitely like to play around with it more!

Also! Since we're here anyway, I also made a comic relating to Vala's return appearance in Quest (this one IS canon). As the party headed into some catacombs in search of the last Madness scroll, Fros failed his wisdom save to overcome some confusing environmental magic and had to pause at the top of the stairs; wrong move, my dude, wrong move...
