Ribbon Dancer ~ The Graceful Coryphee.
Ribbon Dancer, originally named ████, is the youngest among the current active performers within the circus.
Most commonly he goes by Ribbon due to convenience. Otherwise, he accepts the Portuguese “Fita”, only the members of the circus however.
For guests peeked by his allure, they can indulge in his performances based in grace and elegance in the small sky blue tent. As the performer is assisted by his fools for a show no one can turn their gazes away from! Most of them include a carefully crafted choreography with the use of ribbons, silk fans or many other props for his vision.
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ While to the public he portrays himself as alluring, charismatic and sophisticated… The ones that know behind the scenes would call him somewhat of a brat. That may just come with the “being the youngest” territory however.
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ It took a while for Ribbon to settle for a main act, but at last found a passion for dance, choreography with a hint of illusions in the mix.
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ His favorite food is anything sweet, but once he got the taste of Macarons on their travels, he fell in love. Yes, store bought, no need to ruin a young man’s innocence, right? He ain’t that picky though, anything Pierrot is willing to make for him is “good enough”.
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ Whenever he is excited, annoyed or playful, his ribbon tail (which isn’t shown in the artwork) flicks. One could compare it to a common cat’s communication style.
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ As Ribbon does indulge in human bad habits, as one calls it. Specially he is drawn to the burning sensation of alcohol. His favorite remains a good Batida.
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ Ribbon has taught himself numerous ways of tying bows and different knot techniques. One can say it’s for conspicuous use, but they do come in handy when it comes to a messy situation. What? Being able to properly restrain others comes in handy in the circus business, no?
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ His protective nature towards the circus and its members may be well hidden, it does come out if something or someone threatens the peace. In short, a curious little mouse, that knows a little too much, may be the target of a cat that played the game before...
