there  was  a  lot  casper  had  done  ;  he’d  gotten  his  hands  dirty  with  blood  and  dirt  so  many  times  he’d  lost  count.  but  to  boast  about  them?  he  shifts  his  weight  from  one  foot  to  the  other,  brows  furrowing  in  thought.  the  first  to  come  to  mind  is  the  man  whose  life  he  took,  alexander,  only  to  turn  around  and  take  his  position  as  the  head  of  this  gang.

under  other  circumstances,  perhaps  he’d  choose  that  one.  but  because  it  was  tied  to  the  murder  of  his  parents  .  .  .  he  looks  through  his  memories  of  fights,  raising  a  hand  to  his  chin.

i  love  this  question  because  the  answer  is  easy:  casper  is,  and  always  has  been,  an  ass  man.  he  goes  crazy  over  thighs,  too.  he  doesn't  care  what  his  partner  has,  or  doesn't  have,  but  his  attention  is  going  to  his  partner's  ass  one  way  or  another.  hand  on  the  ass  at  all  times  .  .  .  as  long  as  they  can  get  away  with  it.  hand  on  the  thighs,  squeezing.

a  long  morning  is  spent  in  his  office,  going  over  paperwork  for  the  month.  the  family  has  plans  for  the  day,  but  both  he  and  reno  have  decided  to  let  axel  sleep  in  this  morning.  the  last  couple  of  days  have  been  busy,  running  all  around  town  to  finish  errands  and  even  when  reno  returns  with  axel  in  the  early  evening,  the  boy  refuses  to  go  to  bed  until  casper  is  back  and  they're  all  home.

carefully  raising  the  hot  cup  of  tea  to  his  lips,  casper  takes  one  last  glance  over  the  ledger  before  he  decides  he's  finished.  the  decision  is  made  mostly  due  to  sensing  axel  by  the  doorway.  lowering  his  cup,  casper  pushes  his  chair  back  to  stand,  stretching  his  arms  up  above  his  head,  back  cracking.

man,  he  was  getting  old,  wasn't  he?

"happy  father's  day,  papa!"

casper's  favorite  thing  to  cook  is  probably  his  mother's  carbonnade  flamande,  which  is  a  beef  stew.  when  he  was  younger,  and  before  his  parents  passed,  he  would  help  his  mother  out  in  the  kitchen  and  she  would  make  this  often  during  the  cold  months.  it's  a  comforting  dish  that  reminds  him  of  simpler  times,  and  a  reminder  that,  even  amidst  all  the  chaos,  simple  times  can  be  found  still.

he  doesn't  really  have  a  preference  for  cuisine  and  goes  with  whatever  he  feels  like  in  the  moment  —  or  whatever  his  younger  brother,  bug,  is  craving.  over  the  years,  cas  has  all  kinds  of  cuisines  under  his  belt,  thanks  to  his  jobs  that  have  taken  him  all  over  the  world.  some  of  his  recipes  are  definitely  better  than  others,  but  he's  trying  to  perfect  the  ones  that  aren't  that  great.  he  doesn't  always  have  the  time  to  do  that,  though,  given  how  busy  he  is  all  the  time.
