How are we doing, guys? I’d like to apologize for being so sweaty lately. But today, Kazuichi finally repaired the AC unit- So you’ll be glad to know that’s no longer the case! I’m safe and cooled down. At least, temporarily. But what about the rest of you? It’ll be June in a little over a week. Crazy, right? Except with that much, summer’s finally gonna be upon us. What does that mean for you?

For some, it means a break. For others, it means working harder. But there’s no denying it’s all a little weird, since we’re still under limited action. Even still, there’s ways to make the most of the summer in spite of the troubles you might be facing. With time between your responsibilities, reach out to friends. Watch movies, play games, go for walks with the proper gear on. Even if public locations aren’t open, a lot of the world is digitalizing to accommodate for people’s needs. Even if you prefer to think a little more, most libraries are opening up e-book catalogs, and most stores are still open in limited capacity. Why not look into picking up a new hobby? Knitting, printed activities, even gardening (succulents are really hardy!)… Be sure to give yourself a break while the sun’s beating down.

Yesterday, we talked a little about staying calm in the face of media hysteria. But I think it’s also important to talk about a lot of the consequences of how things have been lately, too. I know it’s not everybody, but there’s been an awful lot of shut-downs around the world, huh? Schools, public centers, libraries… It’s a little scary.

I won’t remind you guys of preventative measures, since I’m sure you might even know more than me. But in the face of all these inconveniences, I thought I could offer some consolation. I know it’s stressful to feel so limited in your accessibility, but it’s important to remember that this is all just a temporary precaution. Even if it’s a bit exaggerated, there are systems in place to compensate for what’s happening. We have a lot of resources through the internet, and while grocery centers are still up, there’s still means of staying stocked on canned and frozen items. I’d recommend it, since not many people are really going out much.

It’s definitely not being handled in the best light, but you’re not going to be stuck living like this. In the best scenario, we’re only looking at about a month or so. I can’t promise it’ll get better after that point, but drastic moves aren’t going to be made without assistance being a guarantee. I’m hoping the guys up top know better than that, anyway.
