"i guess it is a bit of a coincidence." though, not an unfortunate one if you asked flora. she had quite enjoyed talking with olivia and even if things hadn't gone according to plan, wasn't it good she'd had a nice time? violet stayed quiet for another moment to mostly think how she should move forward. she felt a bit guilty for having a bit of a sudden mood shift but it’s not like the latter care — or at least that was what she thought. “i’m not kicking out.” she approached rave, almost getting into their personal space. “did you come here for something else or not?”

" HM ." RAVE HUMS BEFORE ARCHING her brow and adding, " you know, i think there are ulterior motives to your whole free the nipple stance here . rave rolls their eyes as violet's eyes roll over them, her expression unimpressed despite the warmth that trails after her gaze . " then i might just have to walk out ." the response is dry as rave's brow arches . " considering i still don't date ."

she could feel herself getting bitter with that response since they would probably be together if rave wasn’t that against that idea. “whatever you say.” she couldn’t even mask her tone of voice. it was almost fun to play their little game but the blonde knew that, to her at least, it was far from casual. — violet felt beyond pathetic whenever she reminded herself of that. “well?” both of her eyebrows got raised. “you got what you came here for already.”

flora laughed, unsure what else she could possibly do. sure, she felt bad and would probably owe her friend an apology but at least things weren't awkward. she'd just been relieved to find someone so pleasant to talk to. "oh, i'm sure that's not true," she insisted, brushing some hair back from her shoulder. "but i guess things happen for a reason, so maybe it's for the best that we ended up meeting."

“she frowned for a moment, she could help but feel a bit guilty about it, even more olivia’s date that day was supposed to be a friend of her cousin. ”i’m glad you agree! you have to admit though,” she chuckled lightly. ”it’s a huge coincidence for both of us to have a blind date at the same time and place, hm?” she hummed lightly after taking a sip of her coffee. “i suppose i got some luck on my side today.”

"i think you're getting me confused with someone else. i don't do that type of thing, i got a good stable job here so why'd i go and risk it?" her words were laughable ; good and stable? she hated her stupid job with it's seedy and entitled customers. as if ordering a greasy burger meant they were so much better than her. "so how about you just keep your mouth shut, hm? nobody needs to hear about your weird video tastes and how you pay to get your fix." with no college degree to puff her up lexi needed this awful gig, word spreading about her side hustle would guarantee she was out on her ass before closing.

with that reaction she got from the latter — courtney started to think that situation could get a lot more amusing. “i actually just stumbled on that little promotion account you have on twitter and nothing else. i can assure you, i never bought any content.” she offered an ‘innocent’ smile. courtney stared down at the bill for a second before making the payment, she made sure to tip the other girl a lot more than she expected. “but after seeing you in person? i might be a little tempted to.” she shrugged her shoulders softly as her gaze went back to the waitress’ face.

RAVE ROLLS HER EYES AT THAT, not even hesitating to reply, " a bra is 'fancy shit' ?" rave studies violet for a moment , eyes narrowing as they scan her face before she's adding , " also don't ... start ." rave could only imagine one motive behind the compliment . after all this was violet they were talking about . " or it could mean that you have a sick little crush on me ." rave retorts with an arch of her brow, perhaps only proving that she is, in fact, the bigger asshole . " have we considered that ?"

she rolled her eyes at that response, of course they couldn’t help to disagree with her even over something that small. “you’re right. not fancy, just unnecessarily overly priced then.” the next thing rave said, earned another laugh from violet. “little crush? mhmm—” with no shame, her gaze was dragged along the brunette’s body before meeting their eyes again. “what if i actually do, pretty girl? hm?”
