Old woman yuri??? In MY BR hero shooter game??????
I don't understand why Fuse isn't hated. He's an asshole. I might be wrong because it's been awhile since I've been into apex. But from what I remember. After his home (Salvo) joined the syndicate he immediately joined the Apex games, completely abandoning not only his people, but Maggie too. This wouldn't be a problem if the Syndicate was actually a fair government. They came in and destroyed the Salvonian way of life and actively took supplies away from Salvo, an already poor and struggling planet. And where was Fuse? Off enjoying the glory of being an Apex Champion while Maggie fought for her home. He hides behind this facade of being this cool, down to earth guy. Calming to be a proud Salvonian. But where was he when his people needed him?
And on top of this, I hate the way he treats Mad Maggie. I'm not sure if he's still like this, but I remember when she was first added to the game he acted like she was just utterly insane. And sure, maybe from an outside stand point she can come off that way. But he knows her! He knows how much her home means to her! He knows that syndicate coming in and changing/destroying everything she knows destroys her. And it should do the same to him! Even going out of his way to call her crazy to the other legends.
Mad Maggie has every single right to hate his guts. First she finds out her home is getting sold to the Syndicate, then her best friend and partner in crime just decides he's gonna up and leave! No amount of apologizing can make up for what he did to her.

My delusional unckuna nephyuji au
assumed fatal injury to reader
black fat gnc reader x hange, levi, kento, choso, benimaru
pushed out the aot portion w my poochie bc i havenât watched it in so long #andineverwill + forgot abt half the soldiers and their gear + geography
also yâall mind being a lil unworldly ting for the fire force portion? thank ya! đ¤Ť
hange
theyâre searching for you through the forest, the tall trees feeling as if they are closing in on hange, their breaths heavy and shaky. you havenât responded to their calls in minutes, your usual quick response only deterred during battle for the sake of safety.
but the battle had been over for several minutes, the bodies of the titans nothing but skeletal remains.
âi saw them go this way.â hange lands on a branch and points their sword to the east, eye surveying above and below.
beside them, levi does the same, his concern mirroring his companionâs. he agrees within his own mind that your lack of response and reappearance is troubling, neither aspect of your usual routine.
âwith the way they handle their gear, they could have gone back to where we were,â is leviâs attempt to reassure hange, voice low.
hangeâs brows furrow. âand not hear the entire squad call out to them?â they shake their head, teeth gritting, the heat of frustration and dwindling hope prickling their skin. continuing their search, they maneuver to another tree, your name fully blasted from them and echoing through the forest.
a curse follows hangeâs next attempt, their hand slamming into the trunk of the tree repeatedly until levi grabs their wrist silently, his gaze still looking out for you.
it is a glint in the distance that makes him mutter hangeâs name, his sword raising to guide them to look above where your weapon can be seen, leaves hiding the rest of you. he follows hange, readying for what he expects.
hange reaches the branch first, the trail of blood choking them up. their steps slow then pick up pace again. they nearly fall as soon as they get to you, leviâs grip preventing another incident.
you are found unconcious, arm splayed across your stomach, a small wound bleeding from the bottom of your torso. youâre breathing, but the act is a struggle, each inhale and exhale done painfully.
hangeâs hands hover over your body, unsure of where to touch you but knowing that it needs to be done to get you down. âi donât know. moving themâŚit might make it all worse.â
âand what do you think leaving them here any longer would do?â
cursing lowly, hange makes a decision and brings their shaky hands to lift your arm, checking how bad the injury is while imagining what you went through.
with the bit of awareness you had left, you had tended to the wound as best as you could, gauze tucked into the gash.
âokay letâsâŚletâs do it.â hange starts to get you situated in a way where they can pull you up and into their arms.
helping to guide the descent, levi gets a hold of your lower body, pointing out to where they should anchor their gear, hangeâs stare stuck on you while they listen. a nudge brings their gaze to him, before it returns to you, then back at levi again. he repeats himself.
hange nods, only keeping it together with the anchor that is your breathing. they clutch your upper body and follow the outlined path, their companion right beside them.
when you all make it to the ground, the return to base is immediate.
levi
youâre on another route to clear the streets of the titans, but he can still hear your grunts of effort from a block down, each emission a boost of energy in his attacks, his lithe figure gliding through his opponents.
levi is quick to clear out the paths, the last titan falling before him as he takes height on a roof, tracking down his squad down the other parts of the town. you are last to find his focus, more faith given your experience and skill.
finished with your bout, you land on the target roof, ready to signal out the first part of completion. you know he sees your hand raise and your continuation to the next portion of titans, your body disappearing into the depths of the buildings again.
one by one, the titans are put down, hope for the numbers to dwindle as the intrusion through the wall is taken care of.
the next checkpoint is a couple blocks down, levi is the first to reach his post. routineâhe checks the other soldiers first, a full count making his heart pump with relief. then he turns to where youâre supposed to be.
but youâre not.
at least not in that moment.
a more of a tough titan needing handling, your ascent comes a few minutes late, back facing levi as you breathe heavily. steam lifts off of you from the spilt blood of the titans. a final inhale and you turn to levi and raise your right hand.
levi fights his intruding sentiments and lifts his head at you, readying to move on to the next wave of creatures. his gear already in motion, his peripheral watches the building youâre standing on collapse, a flash of a titanâs body coming for your unbalanced departure.
eyes, levi narrowly misses an attack from a titan, the heat of the flesh almost matching the flame of fury the captain now holds. gone are your grunts and yells of effort, silence taking hold of the streets you were clearing. he handles the titans with quickness, the image of you flashing in his mind with each strike.
the final titan is struck down with bloodcurdling cry, his blank stare onto the decomposing bodies held for only a moment before he is heading down the street to his left to where he saw you go down.
no thoughts, no hopes, only simple expectations. a cold sweat covers his body, stomach churning as he nears the collapsed building.
first, he finishes off the titans still left from your sudden disappearance, their presence one aspect that applies yet another seal to your fate. the building he saw you go down in is not too far from where he ended up.
levi is unmoved when he sees the titan that grabbed you laid out beside the debris, decomposition in the works; because, of course, possibilities are infinite. he doesnât call out your name, the word an internal, repetitive mutter.
a recognizable curse nearby makes levi straighten and then track down your voice immediately. on the other side of the debris is your laid out body, some of the destruction having pinned you down.
the weight lifting off of you lets you take in your first full breath since the last few minutes, your effort lessened with the aid. you try to help remove whateverâs pinning your legs, but a pain in your back hinders your movement, a wince following.
âstay still for now,â levi tells you, his brows furrowed.
the last of the debris is thrown aside and you let out a sigh of relief. âthank you.â
he only meets your gaze, staring for a moment, before leaving to get to another building and signal for aid.
kento
watching one of your devices take down a curse, kento stays alert, touching his temple lightly before speaking to you through the comms crafted by you, âthird call this week. either someone is planting these curses or an abandoned office building has that much excess energy.â
you tug one of your locs absentmindedly, the other hand typing away, fingers following the data from your trackers. light is your response, âwouldnât you know, mister 9 to 5.â hidden elsewhere, but close by, you help with the mission. on part of your lack of athletic physicality, you have honed your talents into technological feats.
âdonât call me that,â kento responds, teeth gritting to hold back the smile at your teasing tone. âand focus. naturally birthed curses or lures?â
âboth? weâre here already arenât we?â
sighing, kento turns and slashes through a menial curse. âthatâs it? i expected a better explanation.â
you huff through your nose. âalways expecting.â
âwith you, i do.â
when you shudder, your fingers stop typing, dark brown eyes darting around the space youâre in to find the anomaly that made you react that way. a thorough search done, you return to your efforts, staring at the building kentoâs in while you camp out on the roof of an opposing structure.
another one of your trackers detect a cursed spirit hurdling toward kento, energy-composed tendrils sprouting and entrapping the grade three spirit. it pulls and tugs at them, acid spouting from its pores and coating the trap with hopes that it will be free.
you warn kento of the entity even though you are handling it, knowing that, most likely, the acid is able to be used as projectiles as well.
while kento dodges the attacks coming his way, you exorcise the entity with the tendrils still trapping it, electronic configurations striking through the device and using cursed coding mechanics to disassemble the threat.
just as the curse is defeated, kentoâs comms relay a sudden struggle on your end, a choked out cry emitting before a deafening snap makes him whip his head to the building he knows youâre in.
how fast kento travels to you doesnât register, his positioning on the roof done within the same minute.
one of the many traps impacted by the entityâs structure finally comes back online and traps it, forcing it to let you go, your broken arm a prominent factor of the situation. you are quick to get a device to wrap around your arm, reverse cursed technique programmed into this particular piece.
kento has faith in your work, strides made to get to you while he monitors the entityâs existence end.
âi thoughtâŚâ he exhales heavily and turns to you, kneeling beside you. âyouâre okay?â his eyes flit to the your right arm wrapped with the tech. âapart from that?â
âletting that thing snap me up anymore than this would be an embarrassment,â you respond, voice a bit raspy. humor tiptoeing past your partner, his face is still tense, right hand settled on your thigh while the left supports your shoulder blades. âiâm okay.â you try again.
reaching out, kento gets your things together and settles the duffle onto his body. then he comes back to you and gets ready to carry you.
âi can walk,â you say, lightly.
âelevators are probably out from the curse. you want to walk down all those stairs?â kento stands, careful with his movement. his large hands grip you gently but firmly.
you feign a second of thought. ââŚno.â
choso
a visitor to the country for more than a few weeks now, your routine visit to the closest market to your temporary housing was caught by choso, his approach geared toward the portion of the building that is paired with a small restaurant.
he doesnât think youâve noticed him like he has you, but you have. with that hairstyle, he was one of the first things you noticed when you were grabbing ingredients for your dinner.
however, studying cultural cursed spirits does not include eyeing strangersâin that way.
the next time he comes, he brings yuji, the younger one excited for a promised meal while choso just needs the support to ask you a question. he usually gets there earlier than you, light conversation made in the meantime with the cook and cashier on the market side, having known the family for some time.
this time, yuji engages in most of the discussion, getting the full introductory to the shopâs history.
no appearance from you makes disappointment latch on, chosoâs intake of his food slow and detached; not necessarily from being upset, but overthinking has come to him quick.
you canât see curses, is what heâs come to assume and conclude. but they can see you, like they know you. they come close, intent ranging from harmless to potential threats. but then something always radiates from you. something that scares whatever lingers far away.
and now he thinks that seal or protection that has been placed on you is broken, vulnerability beaming for the takers.
choso is done with his food, the moment he comes to a conclusion bringing his gaze to focus on yuji. âwe need to go.â
âiâm almost done.â yujiâs mouth is full. however, he notices the look on chosoâs face, his chewing slowing. âwhat is it?â
after paying for the food, choso and yuji leave the shop, the former explaining his assumptions about you.
âhow do you know where they live?â yuji points out, following the quick stride of his sibling. he tilts his head, scratching the back of it. âyou beinâ weird? this your first interest like this? want some advice?â
with the slight reddening of his cheeks, choso shoots him a look. âi just told you about the curses around them. observing was what i was doing.â
yuji hums. âso a bodyguard. but youâre not really doing much. have you guys talked?â
choso lets out a tired sigh, focusing on the path again. âno more questions until we get there.â
jutting his lips, yuji shoves his hands in his pockets and trudges along.
where your rented space is, that part of town is usually quiet, but in this moment, the environment carries an eerie demeanor as well. when the duo nears your building, the essence of a spirit fills the air, your recognizable energy alongside it.
no light on in your place further alerts choso, yuji following the sentiment as the situation grows more tense. they track the curse and find themselves nearing an alley, expectations readied.
unconscious, you are held up to the wall of a building by a rather large curse, your belongings strewn aside. it holds you by your torso firmly, investigating the pieces of jewelry around your neck, wrists and ankles. it knows these are the seals that prevent most curses from getting to you, its own presence around you a struggle.
slowly, its sharp claws start to cut at the braided threads that make up the neckpiece, a small cut made along your throat from the proximity. more strength than expected is needed to dissect the necklace, the prominent snap emitting in unison with choso taking aim at the entity and a pale purple flash emitting from your body, engulfing you and the spirit.
jumping back a few feet with surprise, choso makes sure to stay in front of yuji, being the first to approach you when the light curls back into your body.
youâre caught just as youâre rousing from your impromptu slumber, seeing that guy from the market. you think youâve heard him be called âchosoâ by the owner a few times, your emotions waking just as you are.
a groggy gaze is kept on him, your mind getting itself together.
benimaru
your appearances to deal with infernals are spontaneous, seeming to blip into existence then gone when the job and aid is done. a presumed spirit sent to help the catastrophes, you are unnamed, coming to as a blur in display, words scarce.
the first time benimaru did get to speak to you, he was caught up in himself, your piercing, dark eyes likely dissecting him as you spoke, introducing yourself with little words. you exude a cool heat, garments neither local or worldly, the lining carrying a scarlet, bioluminescent glow and a flow that exists with or without a breeze.
âwhy help us,â benimaru said. âor evenâŚbe here when you clearly donât have to be?â
your head tilted, long, coiled kinks weighed by stone beads tapping one another with the motion while your eyes looked him up and down. âwhyâŚhelp?â smooth and leveled was your voice, the sound seeming to echo slightly.
the repetition of the question coming back to him made him realize how ridiculous it was to ask, the help welcome in any way.
heâs heard it from the other companies, the appearance of someone that looks human but moves with abilities like theyâre anything but.
the fifth time he speaks to you, you are wandering the streets and all is calm. coincidentally, you stop at the same vendor the twins want to go to, your presentation one that is normalized at this pointâto some extent. of course, hearing of such a person is very different from having them stand in front of you.
reeling himself in from your stance in front of him, the vendor greets you politely, awe hidden behind his stoic face.
your reply is immediate, then you look over the items on display, your order coming in slower, really putting thought into it. by the time youâre done is when the twins calls out your name, your payment for the food done quickly in order to greet the little ones.
chatter follows the embrace, your compliments aimed at the gifts they show that konro has gotten them so far. you cover your mouth to whisper to the twins, ânone from benimaru?â
âstingy,â hinata and hikage mutter back, covering their mouths too.
benimaru huffs, âdonât ask whoâs been keepinâ them fed the entire time.â he watches you rise to stand, his back straightening slightly. âand this is a surprise. you donât only show up during a crisisâyou live here now or what?â
âi can only exist to fight?â you see that your order is ready so you pick up the skewers and take a bit of the meat.
the twins giggle at the exchange and then trot away to find konro who had stepped back moments ago to given benimaru and you privacy; yet he still watches from afar.
benimaru shakes his head, his skin warming at your rebuttal. âjustâŚdonât get to see or hear about you outside ofâŚbusiness.â
âyou can.â
the screams and panic are in the background of your mind, benimaru calling out to you while he gets into a defensive stance. then he yells at the surrounding townspeople to get away from the area, your still and stunned demeanor an unexpected display.
with the loss of weight in your hand, you look at the charred stump, the next fire bolt splitting through your chest and leaving a flame-filled hole. your mouth parts and you let out a breath, black flames fluttering in unison.
when you turn and locate the assailant, the next azure fire bolt is coming to your face, your mouth widening and blasting a flame that envelops the shot.
your stump forming a temporary hand structured from jet black flames, the hole in your chest does the same as you go after the white-clad individual, the lack of effect from the attacks enabling another bout fire bolts, the frantic nature behind them evident.
you get the attacker in your grasp, then you ascend with the fidgeting cult member, rising and rising until the clouds consume the both of you.
when you descend moments later, you are alone.
đŚââŹ
black fat gnc reader x hange, levi, kento, choso, benimaru (regular timeline)
my pups btw. donât even know if these hcs connect to the image above but they are all definitely something something waking up/sleep, something something, rah rah gimme kiss
hange
excited chatter wakes you from the bench youâve fallen asleep on waiting for hange to finish up in their workspace.
âyou didnât sleep did you?â you ask knowingly, voice low. you look down at the blanket you definitely didnât put on yourself. holding the fabric close to your body, you yawn and snuggle into it, the scent of your own fragrance and hangeâs embedded into the cloth. ânow what good is that brain of yours going to be after it turns to mush from you staying up all night?â
hange straightens up from their desk, stopping their solo conversation. they turn around in their chair and frown at your awakened state, hoping they werenât being too loud. âi woke you.â their brown eye glimmers with guilt. âyouâre allowed to tell me to shut up, you know that, right?â
you watch them get up from their chair and walk toward you, your yawn turning into a laugh when hange leans into your open mouth with a mirroring expression. an appreciative hum is earned from both of you when your closed lips meet, their body sitting down next to yours.
a short creak of the bench emits.
hangeâs head lays on your shoulder, your gentle chastising working immediately. âyou need a bath,â they lie, their lips against your neck.
âwe do,â you mutter back with a smile. âthat and about ten hours of sleep.â
âten?â hange shoots up and gives you an incredulous look. the one you give back makes them jut their lips a bit. âmy studiesâŚâ
âcan wait,â you respond softly. âand what iâm hearing is you would pick mind-numbing immersion in your work than rest with your partner.â a playful huff leaves your nose. âthis bench is hurting my ass.â
hange almost purrs their response, âi can take care of that.â
âuh no. not in here.â your hand emerges from the slit in the blanket, index and thumb a mere breadth away from one another. âthatâs how close we were to getting caught up by mikasa and levi.â
hange starts pawing at your thigh, memories of a couple days ago making them smile as they nuzzle into your collarbone. âright. so not in hereâŚâ
âhow is everything you want to do the opposite of actually resting? think we need to rewire you a bit,â your chastising is light, craning your neck to allow hange to do what they desire. then you pull your mind together once they caress your heat, the slight nudge of your left shoulder into them opposing the widening of your thighs. ââŚnone of that before you actually get some rest.â
their gentle nibbling interrupted by the strict tone, hange straightens up to meet you eye to eye, giving the familiar expression that a complaint follows, that puppy facade doing them no good against your guidance.
levi
âbreakfast.â
the voice and soft thud of the plate being set on your nightstand startles you a bit from your sleep, eyes settling on your boyfriend, then the food, then the clock. you slowly blink away your slumber, the aroma of the meal making your stomach grumble.
an incoherent grumble is your response, earning a soft chuckle from levi. he sets his cane aside and sits at the edge of the bed, finding your feet and massaging them lightly.
âdid you just say the garden can take care of itself?â he speaks softly, eyeing your awakening with a small smile.
you squint, coming out of your rest fully, flexing your feet that are in his hold. ânever that,â you mutter, stretching under the covers. âthank you.â
he hums a response, moving up to your calves. any chance to have his hands on you, heâll take. âtired?â
a single noise from your throat starts your reply. âi give one fact about astronomy and the kids act like i command the skies.â
âcould just tell them no more questions.â leviâs hands depart from your legs to let you sit up at the side of the bed before scooting near you. âa good part of stargazing is in the gazing part. silence too.â
something between a grunt and a laugh leaves you. you shake your head as you reach for the plate of steaming food. âlet me guess. thatâs what you told them. i was wondering why all of them were on my hip like that. you know they call you a meanie. all kinds of nasty.â
levi shrugs, watching you take the first bite of food. âsmall price to pay for setting boundaries.â his right leg nudges your left, focus dedicated to you. ââŚwhat else are they calling me?â
buttered bread filling your mouth, you chew and gesture to your lips, giving a nonverbal reason for the lack of answer while also trying to flee the question. you garner a short chuckle and a kiss to your temple from levi, your dark brown skin warming immediately.
âcan i trust that youâre defending my honor?â he murmurs, tilting his head. the length of his jet black hair follows the motion, covering his right eye and some of his scarring. âor you agree with them?â
âcan i multitask?â you prompt, scooping up some more food to munch on. âgerri accidentally called you papa before correcting himself and calling you the guy who doesnât like talking.â
levi laughs through his nose. âno he didnât.â
âyou think i would lie on a small little pup? what do i get outta that?â you make a circular motion at your own face. âhe made himself all upset, scrunched up his little nose and got his eyebrows all bunched. doesnât help that he looks like you. crossed his arms too. i didnât want to laugh in his face at the thought of you. it was so damn hard though.â
levi thinks. âhe doesnât look like me. he always has thatâŚlook. like thereâs something to be irritated at but he doesnât know yet, just preparing for the chance.â
ârightâŚâ you raise your brows at him, the dots obviously not connecting yet. âif i took those last two sentences and our friends heard it, they would look at you so quick.â a bigger bite of the bread is taken, the softness and taste a delight. âi always tell the kids too. somewhere out there in the world, someone has the same face as you.â
he gives a âhmphâ. âa little one that looks like you.â levi smiles to himself. âthatâs something.â
you make a face playfully, your chewing slowing. âand what does that mean?â
ânothing. justâŚthinking.â he shrugs, shaking his head as a motion to physically remove a tiny version of you and him waddling around the house.
kento
he chuckles as you and your new pet kitten stretch in unison, his fingers buttoning up his shirt while he stands near your dresser. tearing his eye away is a necessity, any lingering looks a lure to bring him back under those covers and rest beside you.
but itâs friday. the singular reason to look forward to the workdayâknowing that with its end, youâre to be the balm to the accumulated agitations. truth be told, thatâs what gets kento through the entire week of dealing with curses, his students, and coworkers.
the impromptu purchase of a shelter kitten on your part was an unexpected factor of his relaxation, the time spent in your apartment and toying with the small black cat adding to his enjoyment in your space. not only did it remind him of you, but his students as well, pictures taken of the loud animal. now laying on his desk at work are the students and you, the small ball of black fur and golden eyes added days after its acclimation with him, as if it was his own child.
the kitten, kit kat, wakes up fully before you do, their makeshift bed hanging off the side of yours left behind to march over your slumbering body, soft meows projecting to its presumed papa. conversational mewls that beckon attention, it drops down from the side of the bed that kento is near and makes its way to him, sitting and watching him closely while he finishes getting ready.
âif i feed you now, itâll throw off your schedule,â he speaks softly to kit kat. while tucking his dress shirt in, he chuckles at the responding meow. âi didnât mean to wake you up. wait just a bit, okay?â
now youâre stirring from the calls of the kitten and your partnerâs familiar murmurs. another stretch and youâre turning to kentoâs side of the bed, droopy eyes spotting him out and about, clothing for work clad on his built figure.
âkenâŚâ you grumble.
your voice a beacon, both kit kat and kento give their attention to you, the four-legged furball leaping back onto the bed and meowing at you, a purr already emitting before you can begin to pet it.
kento has his tie around his collar, the undone garment resting as he makes his way toward you as well. âyes?â knee on the bed, he leans over to you, already knowing what the call for him was asking for.
you close your eyes when your forehead and cheek are kissed, your smiles meeting after. following a second, quick peck, his left hand settles on your soft stomach, thumb rubbing over the blanket.
âdonât forget to take the cake to the school. i wrapped it up real good so it shouldnât get messed up on the ride there.â you absentmindedly move your hand back and forth on the covers, kit kat launching itself at the motions.
amused by the kitten, his gaze lands on you once more. âagain, thank you for it. next time remind me not to let the kids taste your treats. don't think you should take a position to be their personal baker."
"oh please. a little sweet treat is the least i can do. and stop saying gojo canât get any, he keeps texting me when you exclude him.â
kento frowns. âwhen did he get your number?â
âyou didnât give it to him?â
choso
curled into your chest is your partner, his knee nestled in between yours while your bodies lay near one another like puzzle pieces. he had fallen asleep kissing your chest and rubbing on your ass and thighs, the lulling motions becoming a habit.
no alarms set, the morning is quiet for the most part; low whirs breathe from the fan twirling on the ceiling and twitters from the birds outside make their way in from the slightly opened window.
heavily invested in a dream, you murmur chosoâs name and twitch slightly, thighs tightening around his leg.
one eye opening, choso dislodges his face from your chest, slowly blinking. he watches you for a moment, his fingers tracing up and down your spine. when your heart picks up speed, his brows furrow and he gives gentle pats to your lower back while calling out to you.
between the repetitive sensations on your back and the inviting voice, you escape your slumbering thoughts, waking with a small, quick intake of breath.
âbad dream,â he tells you, his left hand returning to massaging you, the side of your thick thigh the target this time around.
you rub your eyes and groan, the sentiments from the nightmare lingering. âi wake you up?â
choso shakes his head. âneed anything?â
youâre still tired, rattled from the dream, staring blankly at the ceiling before looking at choso. he answers the silent request and kisses your lips softly, nestling deeper between your legs. you pull away suddenly to yawn, feeling his hand cup your jaw lightly as it closes.
then a kiss comes to your chin, the corner of your lips, your cheek, and finally, between your brows. an urging hum from you gets you more affection in return, the sounds from choso making you laugh while he targets your ticklish spots.
âwhat do i get to make you today?â choso ends up settled between your legs, teeth biting and tugging at your shirt to reveal your stomach, a mischievous smile on his face when his lips graze your sensitive skin.
âyouâre not gonna find your answer down there,â you say lightly, stretching out the sleep from your limbs and muscles.
his dark brown eyes scintillating, choso grins and lets his nose graze the waistband of your shorts. âi asked what you want to eat; i already know my choice.â
benimaru
a long night of putting infernals to rest, benimaru doesnât take his usual route home, his tired trek bringing him to the paths that lead to your place.
your second-floor window facing the street, he sees your silhouette pass behind the curtains that are backlit by a soft scarlet lighting. and inside, you are placing an incense stick into a holder, readying to open your window after.
âbeniâŚâ your whisper trails off once meeting his gaze, your hands slipping away from the spines of the window doors. the sliver in between the curtains had let you catch a glimpse of the familiar figure, a smile growing on your lips. âiâll let you up,â you say out loud, a giddy skip to your foyer bringing you to press a button on the device that opens the gate.
waiting by the door, your desire for his company grows. mid-adjustment of your clothing, two quick knocks come to your door, a hurried unlocking put into action before you grab and twist the doorknob.
in the next moment, benimaru is latching onto you, arms circling around your waist while his face rests in the crook of your neck, his stance steadying your slight imbalance from the force of his hug. the fresh scent of a recent shower and those fragrances he can just drown himself in overtake his senses, his thick digits gripping your hips.
used to this particular demeanor, you embrace your partner back, knowing the signs of a recent battle with infernals. you kiss his temple before murmuring, âcâmon.â
benimaru exhales into your skin and squeezes you tighter before releasing you. only having dropped you off at either your gate or the front door, the positioning of him even making past the threshold is new to him.
âdidnât mean to interrupt your bedtime routine. iâŚâ he sighs. âi just needed to see you.â no motion made to leave, his hand stays held in yours.
âtraveled a city away to just see me?â your hand raises to his chest, index finger tapping gently. once noticing his tense figure, you hold your smile back. âthis is your first time in here. scared?â
the most minuscule of teasing is enough to soften him. his eyes travel down your figure, a bit slower on the ascent before meeting your gaze again. âyouâre not scary,â that gruffness still in his voice, he speaks to you gently.
âah ah.â your raise your brows. âtwo different things. i donât have to be scary for you to be scared.â
benimaru laughs airily at your statement, very aware of you leading him past the foyer, his shoes abandoned on the small slab of tile where pairs of your own rest. he examines the interior of your apartment, your known interests decorating the walls in an orderly fashion. a few of his own gifts are found near your bedside, his small smile hidden as he gets a burst of pride from the more intimate placement of the items.
âthen no on that tooâiâm not scared.â
âunclench a bit then, yeah?â you face him again just as you get into your small living room that melds with your bedroom. âyouâre makinâ my space get all choked up.â
an apology glimmering in his eyes, benimaru melts into the sudden, soft kiss, his words halted.
instead, you say with your lips just skimming his, âdidnât mean it like that. justâŚtry to relax, is what iâm saying.â you gesture for him to inhale and exhale. âthis incense is supposed to be calming and healing. so take in a deep breath andâŚwant anything to drink?â
shaking his head, benimaru already has an answer before subconsciously swallowing and noticing how thirsty he is. then he nods.
tea with a single and precise scoop of some additions you have to offerâafter he searches through and finds the ingredients, he succeeds in getting it all together without disturbing you.
benimaru nurses on the drink back in the living room, following your day as you talk about it. he makes sure your legs are touching, giving acknowledging nudges with his knee before following with a comment.
mug on the table now empty, benimaru is asleep, his body slumped toward you while his head is cradled in your lap as you watch some tv quietly, absentmindedly coiling his black locks.
