You receive a text message from an unknown number - so unknown, in fact, that the string of characters comprising the "sender" is mostly glitches and foreign symbols. The subject reads "D̴̙̑Ȏ̶̼ ̵̻͌Y̶̺͘Ǒ̸͜U̶͉̽ ̶̗̈L̶̫̕Ȋ̵̟K̷͎͝Ẹ̶̈?̷̩͋" and the picture flashes with static before it loads. It's a prehensile phallus - clearly inhuman - and you can see a scythe in the background. Another message: "I̷̤̋ ̶͕̄Ä̶͇́W̶̭͆A̸͍͛I̵̡͋Ţ̸̐ ̴͚̈A̵͉͠ ̴̝̑R̵̋ͅȄ̶̜S̷̲̽P̶̛͕Ô̵̫N̵͕͋Ṣ̷̛E̶̪͑.̴͇̇"
She’s no stranger to glitched up and strange encrypted messages, so upon seeing the subject line she’s half tempted just to delete-- looks like a bad phishing attempt honestly. But there’s just a twinge of curiosity, and it’s not like she can’t get rid of any virus this thing’s bound to have.
Ah, whatever, she clicks it and waits for the attached picture to load. The sudden static is... odd, and she double-checks her phone to make sure everything’s still ok when her eyes catch the beginning of the picture.
“---------------!!”
WHO’S IDEA OF A PRANK WAS THIS, BECAUSE HOLY SHIT.
She doesn’t fully scroll down to look at the picture in full, she caught the tip of something and a scythe and that’s enough for her-- she’s lobbing her phone at her bed with an embarrassed shriek.
