2019 is the year I will learn to love myself, the year I realise my self worth. The year I will not settle for less then I deserve. I will not be walked all over and I will be the strongest I have ever been. I have always looked at myself as being a strong individual but after the obstacles I have had to endure the last year or so has made me even more prouder of who I am and who I have become. Ariella is my biggest motivation and she was my blessing last year in 2018. So this year self love is my number 1 focus. After having a baby and having my life change in more ways then one drastically I have become a lot more self conscious with my body and myself and now my goal is to learn to love myself inside and out despite all my insecurities and all my flaws. You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don't know it, all of that doesn't even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself, is a second of your life wasted, it is a moment of your life thrown away. We don’t have forever, so don't waste every minute of your life bashing yourself, don't throw away moments of your life being unhappy. When you learn to love yourself the rest of your life will become brighter, you will feel happier and lighter within yourself and that is the best feeling. How do I know? Because that was me once upon a time, until life and people that walked into my life brought me so far down I crashed and here I am trying to rebuild myself back up again and I will get there someday. That being said if I can do it, so can you. Start now, start today. Love yourself, each and everyone of you are just as beautiful as each other. Remember that. Have you ever had those days where you just feel like throwing the hands and giving up. Yep, that was one of those days today. I was so exhausted in more ways then one and Ariella was having one of her bad days today and she definitely let me know about it. She was whiny, she was crying over anything and everything. She did not want to stay seated on my lap, she wouldn’t want to sit in her pram. The only time she would stop getting upset was when I was holding and standing up or walking around. Nothing pleased her and I was so overwhelmed at a few stages I just wanted to go home and isolate myself. My back after today is killing me, carrying and picking Ariella up all day was a killer, she’s a heavy girl so my back really felt it today. Her tantrums and mood swings I guessed was due to teething and the fact she wouldn’t sleep and missed her second nap of the day which didn’t help. But hey moral of this post was, that all us mothers have our good and bad days. I tend to feel guilty when I say things like “I’ve had enough”, “I can’t handle it anymore” or “omg this child is driving me crazy”. But we are all human, we have the hardest days and some of the easiest but at the end of the day regardless of my in the moment feelings about certain situations that stress me out, nothing beats being a mum and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
