Wyll can’t pronounce SHIT. Bro read a lot as a kid, and despite his dad and being the blade of frontiers, bro didn’t really talk to a lot of people. So sometimes Wyll will be like
“Yeah I can’t stand this bigotry [bye-got-tree]”
And Gale (equally under socialized) is like “yeah fr”
Meanwhile 500 convos astarion is like “bro are yall fr”

Gale can cook!! I feel like this is canon that Gale cooks for the party. The first couple of times, before Astarion would reveal he was a vampire, Astarion would just wait till everyone else was distracted, and then feed his share to Scratch and the owlbear cub.
Wyll knew damn well Astarion was a vampire, and sometimes would purposefully strike conversation with Astarion to watch him panic and try to district Wyll while Scratch just fucking drools and whines on Astarion’s leg in the meantime. Wyll lets Astarion think he’s distracting him, especially when one time Astarion just says “Holy shit is that a goblin over there?” And then frantically pushes his fish to Scratch.
Wyll and lae’zel outpace the group significantly, so they just start scouting atp. Shadowheart is a disney princess who can probably last a bit longer, but Karlach got the whole damn camp on her back, and astarion and gale speak for themselves.
Astarion makes deadass no sounds. It freaked Gale out when he realized it. He’s so used to like people making normal breathing noises, footsteps, yk living ppl stuff. He doesn’t even creak when he moves (much to Gale’s jealous displeasure. He was banned from sneaking or scouting when he once crouched and gave away their position bc of how loudly his knees creaked).
Wyll has SUCH bad baby talk with Scratch. He dissolves into gibberish when talking with him, and Scratch LOVES it. He has no idea what he’s saying (even with animal speak), but he likes the gibberish bc Wyll usually gives him lots of scritches and head rubs.
Wyll and Halsin had to sit Shadowheart, Gale, and Astarion down for feeding Scratch too much at on point. Between Shadowheart’s love for animals, Gale’s love language being food, and Astarion getting into the babit of sharing meals with Scratch even after being exposed, Scratch started looking a bit plump.
It took Wyll a lot of willpower (pun not intended) to not feed Scratch as well.
Karlach lowkey loves spending time with Astarion. And he loves spending time with her. It’s not that uncommon to find them taking naps near each other (despite elves lack of need for sleep). Sometimes, more accurately, Astarion will embroider or repair clothing while Karlach naps, or yaps about everything and anything.
They like spending time together, as Astarion’s lack of body temperature makes him run cold, and Karlach’s engine makes her toasty. Sometimes she asks for Astarion solely for cooldowns (with his permission), and will cuddle Astarion like a teddy bear. Sometimes, she even does so right after finishing a long climb or hike, and will hitch Astarion for a piggie back ride. Astarion preens at this of course.
Lae’zel struggled to find a hobby. The first weeks, she grew restless. She did not know what to do with excessive energy, and already keeps the equipment in top shape.
Gale let her try cooking. She burnt the shit out of everything, since she grew impatient waiting for things to cook at lower temps, so she’d blaze it as hot as possible. The rest of the gang tried to eat it afterwards bc she looked so proud of herself (Scratch and the owlbear cub were well-fed that night).
Wyll tried to get her in Astarion, Gale, and his little book club. She did not like any of their books, since she claimed the plot did not move fast enough. She was right - they all had the taste of middle aged white women in the suburbs reading slow burn romance stories.
Shadowheart got her into art, surprisingly. Shadowheart likes to draw and sketch, making little doodles and collecting flowers for paints. Or just to collect flowers. Lae’zel was surprisingly really good at art, and she and Shadowheart will quietly draw together. Lae’zel also got into the habit of picking flowers for Shadowheart, since some colors reminded her of a new palette, or just a composition she thinks Shadowheart will like.
Karlach did not succeed in getting Lae’zel into dancing. Lae’zel moves like a robot, with way too stiff and fast of movements. However, Lae’zel had fun with it, and enjoyed burning off intensive energy. She and karlach sometimes will dance at taverns or at squares with music. Othertimes, they’d go to Alfira and let her work out some notes. They even dragged other members down.
Karlach and Wyll by far are the best dancers. Karlach loves to dance, and used to go dancing with her friends before Gortash and Avernus. Wyll is musically gifted, and can find rhythm easily.
Gale dances like an embarrassing dad. Wyll almost passed out dying of laughter when he saw Gale dance for the first time. Greek boy was NOT on beat 😭
Astarion does not know how to actually dance outside of ballroom, seductive, and formal settings. Going into a square makes him stand stiffly and awkwardly. Karlach takes pity on him and usually takes him to stand with her.
Shadowheart is really just there for the beer at these events. Girl has a STRONG tolerance and can outdrink all the dudes except for Halsin, which is given bc yk its Halsin. She and Jaheria will chug beer in the corner and laugh at their companions making a fool out of themselves.
Jaheria, Halsin, and Astarion bond over being old as shit. Jaheria will be like “do you remember 50 years ago when” and they will be like “yes omg”
Meanwhile Wyll makes them all cringe by saying shit like “oh i wasnt even born yet :D” or “yeah i was like 2 when that happened”
