art by @/riritzuu - divider by @/pixopix
Yuji was practically bouncing off the walls in excitement as Nanami slipped his shoes on, âHurry papa! We have to hurry!â
Nanami purposefully slowed his movements, internally smiling as his son started tugging on him with all his might.
âThe park will be there regardless of what time we arrive,â he ruffled Yujiâs hair before slipping a small beanie over his head.
âCan I wear my spider-man coat today?â Yuji looked up at his dad, his brown eyes big as he waited for an answer.
âOf course,â Nanami grabbed it off the hook, slipping it around his shoulders before donning his own jacket. He barely had time to grab his favorite scarf before Yuji was pulling him through the door.
As they walked down the busy streets, hand in hand, Nanami relished in the pure joy that radiated from his son. He was so unlike his father, so expressive in every range of emotion, Nanami loved every new thing he learned about him as time went on.
Yuji was orphaned at a young age. And when Nanami heard from a good friend of his about little Yuji, he decided to set up a meeting. He hadnât settled down in life yet, stuck in his simple ways that worked for him, even if he constantly told himself he didnât want more from life.
Everything changed the day he met Yuji, it was like the sun began shining down on him again, the feeling so astounding as he realized how accustomed to the dark that he had become.
His son was his pride and joy, the most well mannered kid, who brought a smile to anyoneâs face, always the most eager to listen and learn. Nanami relished in spoiling him, but what he loved most of all was just spending time with him after a week in the office.
Nanami sat on a bench, watching as his son ran around the park with other children, laughing like he never knew anything different. It was a different kind of peace, something he never knew could be his.
Nanami watched as the young girl with brown hair began playing with Yuji, something forming between her and his son. Then the boy with spiky black hair showed up, the two kids spotting him and dragging him into whatever game they were already playing.Â
When Yuji came running up to him, Nanami smiled down at him, âWhereâs your friends?â
âI have to show you something, papa!â Yujiâs little hand grabbed Nanamiâs, pulling on him to get him to stand. âCome on!â
âIâm coming, Iâm coming,â Nanami stood, letting his son guide him across the playground only to see the little girl with brown hair doing the same to someone else.
âNobara, I brought him!â Yuji shouted to his friend, a smile overtaking his face as he waved wildly.
âMommy, meet Yujiâs papa! Now you can get married and I can play with Yuji everyday,â the little girl stood proudly, a haughty look on her face as Nanami stared at you.
Your eyes were wide as you listened to your daughter, a nervous laugh leaving you, âWell, isnât that quite an idea.â
âThe best idea!â Nobara answered, sharing a smug look with Yuji as his eyes bounced between the two adults.
When you looked at Nanami, giving him a shy smile as you held out your hand, he knew he was done for. The moment your hand was clasped in his, all he could think about was how to make you his.
âItâs nice to meet you,â you offered him your name with a gentle smile as the two children ran off, calling for Megumi, the child with black hair, he assumed.
âIâm Kento Nanami, Yujiâs father,â Nanami was still holding onto your hand, the moment turning awkward as you looked down between you. He dropped your hand quickly, muttering an apology.
âNobara look, my papaâs blushing! He never does that!â Yuji was currently perched high on the jungle gym, the other two kids standing next to him and watching the entire interaction.
âMy mommy canât keep eye contact,â Nobara noted, âusually sheâs mean to boys.â
A laugh spilled from your lips, the sound just as beautiful to Nanami as Yujiâs, âDo you want to step away from the nosy children?â
âPlease,â Nanami waved to a nearby bench, sneaking looks back at his son as the three children watched with rapt attention.
For once in Nanamiâs life he saw a clear future, a future made possible by the two kids who brought you both together. Their little minds had already dreamed up the life you two started making together from that day on.
Nanami himself had never dreamed, never asked for the beauty of coming home to his children laughing in the backyard while you waddled around with a swollen belly.Â
And the day you brought your third child into the world, Nanami felt the feeling of tears falling down his cheeks at such a beautiful sight. While praising how good of a job you did, he looked upon his newest daughter and knew that everything in his life was made whole by being a father to his three children, and a husband to you.

Trainwreck
A/N: *sighs* can you guys guess who i wrote for? yes its nanami
warnings: innapropriate workplace behavior (this is all so unrealistic pls), thats mostly it, maybe a bit OOC? idk obsessive behavior, lowkey creepy
Nanami Kento prides himself on being a man of structure. He clocks in at 8:00 AM sharp, organizes his desk with ruthless efficiency, and approaches every task with a quiet, burning determination. But recentlyârecently, youâve ruined him.
Completely, utterly ruined him.
Youâre not even his boss. No, youâre her secretary. Just the secretary, really.
A pleasant smile in the hallway, the click of heels passing by his office door. Youâre always polite, professional. Efficient. And yet, youâve utterly dismantled every ounce of his composure.
He notices everything about you.
He notices too much.
The way you tuck your hair behind your ear when you're focused, the faint scent of your perfume (something floral but not cloying, clean and perfect). The way you laugh softly with the receptionist when you think no one is listening.
God, you never wear a wedding band.
Heâs looked.
Heâs ashamed of how often heâs looked.
He hates himself for itâhates the way his chest tightens when he hears your voice. Hates the way his thoughts stray in the quiet moments of the day, imagining what it would be like if you looked at him the way he looks at you.
But you barely notice him.
At least, thatâs what he tells himself. Why would you? Heâs just another cog in the machine, another suit with no significance beyond his output.
Nanami lets out a sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. Heâs supposed to be working, but instead, heâs replaying that moment from earlier today: the way youâd popped into the breakroom, looking fresh and radiant in that blouse that heâs now convinced was designed to torment him.
âOh, hi, Nanami,â youâd said, smiling at him as you poured yourself a cup of coffee. It had been such a simple, innocent thing. And yet, his brain had short-circuited.
âMorning,â heâd managed, stiff and awkward, and heâs sure you noticed. God, why did his voice sound so clipped?
âYou doing okay? You looked a little stressed in the meeting earlier.â
And that had really done it. Your concernâcasual, effortlessâhad hit him like a freight train. He could barely stammer out a reply before you were gone, leaving him standing there, coffee untouched, his heart doing somersaults in his chest.
He wants to believe heâs subtle about it, but he knows better. Heâs not subtle. Not when he hangs back in the breakroom just to hear you chatting with someone, filing away every detail like the pathetic little moth he is, hopelessly drawn to your flame.
âYeah, no, Iâm just focusing on work right now,â youâd said once, when someone asked if you had any plans for the weekend. No mention of a boyfriend. No hint of anyone waiting for you at home.
It shouldnât matter, and yet it feels like the cruelest kind of hope, igniting in his chest despite himself.
Nanami leans back in his chair, running a hand through his hair. Heâs disgusting. Obsessed. Youâre probably not even aware of his existence beyond the bare minimum. Why would you be? Youâre smart, funny, stunningâand heâs just him. Dull. Predictable. The kind of guy women settle for when theyâre tired of the fireworks.
But oh, if you ever gave him the chance. If you so much as glanced in his direction with anything resembling interest, heâd fall to his knees. Worship you. Do anything to make you happy.
Itâs humiliating. The longing, the yearning, the ache.
And yet he canât stop.
His thoughts spiral as the hours drag on, oscillating between bitterness and hope. He tells himself to stopâorders himself to focusâbut his mind keeps circling back to you.
Always you.
The end of the day finally comes, and as heâs gathering his things, he hears the soft sound of your voice drifting from the hallway.
âNight, Nanami!â
You wave as you pass, the gesture casual but bright enough to light up the entire goddamn floor.
âGoodnight,â he replies, quieter than he means to. His hand tightens on his briefcase.
You disappear around the corner, and Nanami stays frozen for a moment, staring at the space where youâd been.
*-*
Itâs Christmas in the office.
The annual âholiday celebration,â a thinly veiled excuse for everyone to slack off in the name of festivity. Nanami hates itâor at least he wants to hate it. Forced camaraderie, cheap decorations, music that grates on his nerves. Itâs the kind of chaos he typically avoids.
But then you walk in, and every ounce of self-discipline heâs built over the years shatters into irreparable pieces.
The pencil skirt.
The goddamn Christmas-colored pencil skirt. Itâs shorter than usual, clinging to your hips in a way that feels engineered to destroy him. The matching blouse, festive but just tight enough to drive him completely fucking insane.
Itâs not fair.
Youâre smiling as you step into the breakroom, chatting with a coworker, utterly oblivious to the wreckage youâre leaving in your wake.
Nanamiâs pulse spikes. His gaze darts away, but the image of you is already seared into his brain, lingering like a bad habit.
He adjusts his tie, swallowing hard. Donât be a creep. Donât be a fucking creep. But then his eyes flick back, just for a second, andâoh no. Oh no, no, no.
His pants feel too tight.
He grits his teeth, clenching his jaw as he fumbles with a stack of papers on his desk. His hands tremble slightly. Heâs mortified, but thereâs no stopping it. Not when his traitorous brain is already spinning, conjuring images he really shouldnât be entertaining in the middle of the office.
Images of you. That skirt riding up higher, your thighs bare beneath his hands. The sound of your laughter softening into breathless gasps. The way your lips would feel against his skinâ
Nanami bolts.
He mutters something vague about needing a minute to no one in particular and beelines for the bathroom. The fluorescent lights are harsh as he leans against the sink, gripping the porcelain edge like itâs the only thing tethering him to sanity.
âWhat the hell is wrong with you?â he hisses to his reflection. His tie feels like a noose around his neck.
He splashes cold water on his face, but it doesnât help. Not when every time he blinks, he sees you. The soft curve of your waist, the way your hair catches the light.
Pathetic. Heâs fucking pathetic. Youâre just trying to celebrate the holidays like everyone else, and here he is, locked in the bathroom, wrestling with his own shameless thoughts.
The worst partâthe absolute worst partâis that itâs not just the dirty shit. Oh, no. His brain is crueler than that.
He imagines quiet mornings with you. You in his kitchen, wearing one of his shirts, smiling at him over a mug of coffee. Your hand brushing his as you pass him a plate, the warmth of your touch lingering long after.
Itâs insidious. Itâs relentless. Itâs everything he doesnât deserve, and yet he wants it so badly he feels like he might choke on it.
Nanami drags a hand down his face, letting out a groan that echoes in the empty bathroom.
She doesnât even notice you, idiot.
He stays there longer than he should, collecting himselfâor trying to. Eventually, he straightens his tie, squares his shoulders, and forces himself to return to his desk.
But when he passes by the breakroom again, youâre laughing, radiant, and he knows this torture is far from over.
*-*
Nanami doesnât mean to eavesdrop.
Really, he doesnât.
But itâs impossible not to overhear you when youâre in the breakroom, talking to someone about the bouquet on the receptionistâs desk.
âOh, these are lovely,â you say, your voice light and cheerful. âBut if I had to pick, Iâve always been more into bold flowers. Red dahlias, spider lilies, rosesâthings like that. Dark, dramatic colors. Theyâre so beautiful.â
Nanami freezes in the hallway, a stack of files in his hands. His heart does this stupid little stutter, the same one it always does when he hears your voice. But now itâs worse because his mind is spinning with the image of you holding a bouquet like the one youâve just described.
Red dahlias, spider lilies. The thought of you cradling those flowers, smiling at them, smiling because of himâhe has to physically shake his head to clear it.
Heâs pathetic.
He knows heâs pathetic. He clenches the files tighter, willing himself to keep walking, but the image wonât leave him.
Over the next few days, he thinks about it more than he wants to admit. He imagines walking into a flower shop, carefully selecting each bloom, making sure theyâre perfect. He imagines handing the bouquet to you, watching your face light upâ
And then he imagines the aftermath. You smiling politely, awkwardly thanking him, wondering why the hell one of your coworkers is giving you flowers.
No.
He canât do it. Itâs wildly inappropriate. Heâs already teetering on the edge of unprofessionalism just by thinking about you like this.
But then, one quiet afternoon in the office, he hears you mention your birthday in passing.
âOh, itâs in a month or so,â you say, laughing softly. âI donât usually do much for it, though. Just a quiet day, you know?â
Nanami marks the date down the second he gets back to his desk. He feels like a creep for it, but the thought of letting the day pass without acknowledgment feels unbearable.
Heâs spent weeks overthinking this, debating whether or not he should go through with it. But as he stands outside the florist that morning, the door handle cold in his hand, he decides he canât let it go.
He picks each flower carefully: crimson dahlias with velvety petals, a few spider lilies that curl dramatically, and deep red roses. Itâs a small bouquetânot too extravagant, just enough to feel thoughtful.
By the time he gets to the office, his palms are clammy, and he feels like he might actually pass out.
He doesnât give it to you right away. He waits until the middle of the day, when the office is quieter and most people are out at lunch. He finds you at your desk, bent over some papers, your hair falling slightly into your face.
âExcuse me,â he says, his voice more formal than he intended.
You look up, blinking in surprise, and when your eyes land on the bouquet in his hands, they widen slightly.
âI, uhââ He clears his throat, trying not to fumble. âI overheard that it was your birthday today. Happy birthday.â
You take the bouquet slowly, your expression shifting from surprise to something softerâsomething warmer.
âOh my gosh, Nanami, these are gorgeous,â you say, holding the flowers close to your chest. âYou didnât have to do this.â
âItâs nothing,â he replies quickly, shoving his hands into his pockets to hide how much theyâre trembling. âJust⌠thought youâd like them.â
âI love them.â Your smile is radiant, and for the first time, he feels like he might actually be able to breathe again.
âThank you,â you say, your voice sincere.
He nods, forcing himself to meet your gaze for just a moment.
âYouâre welcome,â he murmurs, before quickly retreating to the safety of his desk.
As he sits down, his heart pounding, he allows himself a small, private smile. For once, his yearning doesnât feel quite so pathetic.
*-*
Nanami doesnât mean to eavesdrop. Again. But itâs impossible not to hear you when your voice floats down the hallway like that, soft and full of joy.
The bouquet sits proudly on your desk, vibrant reds catching the fluorescent light, and youâre standing nearby, talking to another employee.
âI still canât believe it,â youâre saying, your tone carrying this sweet mix of wonder and delight. âNo oneâs ever done something like this for me before. Itâs just⌠so thoughtful, you know?â
Nanami, passing by with his usual quiet efficiency, freezes mid-step. His breath hitches in his throat.
âI mean, look at them,â you continue, gesturing to the flowers. âTheyâre perfect. Whoever picked these out really put a lot of thought into it.â You laugh softly, a sound that makes his chest ache. âIâm not even sure how they knew these are my favorites.â
He stands there, rooted to the spot, his pulse roaring in his ears.
Sheâs talking about me. Sheâs talking about me.
He feels ridiculous for the way his stomach twists, for the heat creeping up his neck. A grown man shouldnât feel this way, shouldnât feel this weak, over a few kind words. But goddammit, he canât help it.
The idea that youâre gushing about something he did, that he made you happy, even for a momentâitâs enough to undo him completely.
âWhoever it was,â you add, your voice softening, âitâs just⌠it really made my day. Probably my whole week, honestly.â
Nanami swallows hard, clutching his briefcase like itâs the only thing keeping him upright. His emotions are a messâa chaotic tangle of pride, relief, and something deeper, something that makes his throat feel tight.
He knows he should walk away. He shouldnât linger here, shouldnât keep listening like some lovesick fool. But heâs stuck, trapped by the sound of your voice and the warmth in your words.
When he finally moves, itâs with a heaviness in his chest that he canât quite define. He makes his way back to his desk, sitting down and staring blankly at his computer screen.
*-*
Weeks bleed together in the monotony of office life, except for the moments where Nanami lets himself carve out little spaces of joyâtiny gestures that go unnoticed by most but feel monumental to him.
It starts with a single chocolate, placed carefully on the corner of your desk one morning before you arrive. Just a small thing, barely bigger than his thumb, wrapped in shiny foil. He doesnât linger to see your reaction. He couldnât stomach it, not when he knows heâd fold in on himself if you so much as tilted your head in confusion.
But the next day, youâre chatting with the receptionist, that same soft laugh spilling from your lips.
âItâs so weird,â youâre saying, holding the empty wrapper in your fingers. âI found this little chocolate on my desk yesterday. I donât know who left it, but it was sweet. Made my morning, honestly.â
Nanami ducks his head, pretending to be engrossed in the stack of reports heâs holding, but inside, heâs practically vibrating. She noticed. She noticed.
He tells himself to stop, to leave it there, but he doesnât. He canât. The yearning is too big, too loud, and it demands an outlet, however small.
After a grueling conference one afternoon, he slips a bottle of chilled water onto your desk when you step away. Nothing extravagantâjust a quiet act of care. Youâre gone for no more than a minute, but when you return, you blink down at the bottle, tilting your head in that way he finds unfairly adorable.
âHuh,â you murmur, glancing around. âDid someone leave this?â
You shrug, unscrewing the cap and taking a sip, and Nanami has to fight the urge to look away too quickly, lest anyone catch the faint pink blooming across his cheeks.
Itâs pathetic.
The way he lives for these small moments, like a man stranded in a desert, savoring droplets of water. Every tiny gesture, every unnoticed offering, feels like a prayer heâs too afraid to voice aloud.
He notices everything about you. How you seem to perk up on Friday afternoons, your shoulders relaxing as you chat about weekend plans. How you wrinkle your nose just slightly when youâre concentrating. How you hum under your breath when you think no oneâs listeningâa soft, tuneless sound that drives him to distraction.
He doesnât need grand gestures. He doesnât want them. He just wants to make your days a little brighter, even if you never know itâs him.
And god, does he yearn.
He daydreams when he shouldnât, his thoughts slipping away from spreadsheets and into fantasies that make his chest ache. He imagines brushing your hair back from your face, the softness of your skin beneath his fingertips. He imagines quiet evenings, your laughter filling the silence of his apartment. He imagines the weight of your head on his shoulder as you drift off to sleep.
And sometimesâsometimes, when heâs alone, when the ache feels unbearableâhe lets himself imagine things he shouldnât. Things that make his heart race and his breath catch and leave him staring at his own reflection in shame after.
But he never acts on it. Never says a word. Instead, he keeps leaving his little tokens: a coffee cup placed carefully on your desk when he overhears you complain about a late night, a pack of your favorite pens after you mention running out.
You smile every time, and though you never suspect him, thatâs enough. It has to be enough.
At least, thatâs what he tells himself.
*-*
Youâre not an idiot.
No, you may be a little dense sometimes, but youâre not stupid. Someone has been leaving you small, thoughtful little gifts over the past few weeks.
And you have absolutely no idea who it is.
It started innocently enoughâchocolate on your desk one morning. You didnât think much of it at first, but then it kept happening. A bottle of water after a long conference, a cup of coffee after a particularly brutal meeting. At first, you thought maybe it was just a mistake, someone leaving things around and not realizing it was yours. But no, they were always right where youâd find them. Right when you needed them.
Itâs sweet. Really sweet. But it's also starting to annoy the ever-living shit out of you because, for the life of you, you canât figure out whoâs doing it.
Youâve spent the past few days trying to narrow it down, your brain doing mental gymnastics over every damn interaction youâve had at work. And frankly? Youâre getting tired of it.
âAlright, letâs break this shit down,â you mutter to yourself as you sip your second cup of coffee of the day, pretending to focus on an email.
Option one: Your boss.
Ha. Right. Sheâs too busy scheduling her hair appointments to think about leaving chocolates on anyoneâs desk. Plus, sheâs got the whole âI donât care if you live or dieâ attitude, so yeah, not her.
Option two: Kevin from accounting.
Kevinâs an idiot. A well-meaning idiot, but still. Heâs the type to forget the coffee in the breakroom and then call it âthe best thing everâ for two hours, as though anyone cares about his âdiscovery.â Youâre not buying that.
Option three: That one guy from marketing, Tom.
You nearly burst into laughter just thinking about it. Tomâs an over-caffeinated golden retriever in a humanâs body. Heâs the type of guy who thinks sending a âHey, just wanted to check in!â email twice a day is âchecking inâ on people. He probably couldnât even remember to get a chocolate from a store, let alone leave it at your desk.
Option four: Nanami.
You pause mid-sip, blinking rapidly. Nanami? The quiet guy from finance? The one who barely says more than a handful of words in a meeting?
Now thatâs an intriguing thought. Heâs always⌠there. Always around, like a quiet shadow, observing. Sure, heâs not exactly filling the room with energy, but thereâs something there, right? Something beneath that perfectly structured exterior.
You sigh, rubbing your temples. No way. Thatâs ridiculous.
But then you think about it. Nanamiâs the type of guy who doesnât get distracted by office chaos. Heâs methodical. Focused. The guy who lives on routine. Heâd be the one to sneakily notice when someoneâs overworked and needs a small pick-me-up. Heâs just... quiet about it.
But then again, who leaves water bottles, chocolates, and coffee? Itâs not like heâs ever said anything about it. Not a single âhey, I thought you might like this,â or anything remotely close to an acknowledgment. Hell, he doesnât even smile much.
God, heâs so damn mysterious it makes your head spin.
You glance over at his desk. There he isâquiet, as usual. Focused, pretending the world isnât falling apart around him.
It could be him.
But no. You shake your head, dismissing the thought immediately. Heâs not the type. Right?
Itâs just⌠weird. And youâre not even sure why it feels so weird. Maybe itâs just the fact that youâve got a secret admirer at work, which is fucking hilarious because it sounds like something out of a shitty rom-com you wouldnât even watch if someone paid you.
"God, Iâm going insane," you mutter under your breath, checking your watch. "Seriously. Who the hell is doing this?"
*-*
It took weeks.
Weeks of small gestures.
Youâve figured it out.
It took some careful observation, a bit of deduction, and honestly, a lot of staring at Nanami when he wasnât looking. But thereâs no doubt in your mind now. The quiet, stoic, almost painfully composed man from financeâthe one who always has his tie perfectly in place and whose voice could melt butterâheâs your secret admirer.
And oh, itâs delicious.
At first, you werenât sure. Nanami wasnât exactly the type to scream âhopeless romanticâ or even âmildly interested.â But the more you watched him, the more obvious it became. The way his eyes linger on you just a second too long, the way he tenses when you get too close, the way he seems to disappear right after you find something thoughtful left at your desk.
You caught him once, hovering near the break room as you raved to a coworker about the flowers. He didnât say a word, but the way he froze mid-step, his jaw tightening ever so slightly? Yeah. That was all the confirmation you needed.
And honestly? Youâre thrilled.
Nanamiâs hot. Not just conventionally attractive, but smart-hot, the kind of guy who could ruin you with a PowerPoint presentation and a sharp comment about fiscal responsibility. Heâs also maddeningly composed, which makes you want to poke at him, see whatâs underneath that calm, collected exterior.
So, naturally, you decide to fuck with him.
Just a little.
You can feel the tension building in the air as you move through your day, the little comments, the subtle glances. Nanamiâs still trying to play it cool, but itâs clear. Heâs a mess. You can see it in the way his eyes dart away when they linger on you a second too long. You can hear it in his voice when he answers youâa little too stiff, a little too forced.
So, you decide to push him.
You start small. Little things. Nothing too obvious, just a few well-placed gestures to see how far you can take him before he finally snaps.
You walk past his desk, and youâre definitely not trying to make sure your skirt hugs your hips just right. You bend over just so to grab a file from your bag, letting him get a full, uninterrupted view of your cleavage.
Youâre certain heâs trying not to lookâhell, you can practically feel him forcing his eyes up to the ceiling, but you know. You know heâs been watching.
When you straighten up, you glance at him out of the corner of your eye. Heâs gripping his pen like itâs a lifeline, his knuckles pale, and his jaw is tight. You smirk, leaning in just a little closer.
âNeed something, Nanami?â you ask, the words dripping with an edge of playful mischief.
He swallows, clearly doing everything in his power to maintain his usual stoic expression. âNo,â he replies, too quickly, voice clipped. âIâm fine.â
You laugh lightly, keeping the tension alive as you pull away. You can practically feel the heat radiating off him. Oh, this is too good.
You donât stop there, though. No, you want to see how much he can handle.
The next day, you make sure to wear a skirt thatâs just a little tighter, just a little shorter than usual. The fabric clings to you in all the right ways, and when you walk past Nanamiâs desk, you make sure to let your hip brush against the edge of his desk, just lightly enough to catch his attention.
As you bend down to grab a report from the printer, you give him the tiniest, most casual look over your shoulder. Youâre sure you catch the way his eyes flicker down to your legs before he quickly looks away. Gotcha.
You straighten up, tossing your hair over your shoulder as you walk back past him, barely stopping yourself from humming in satisfaction when you feel his gaze linger on the curve of your back.
Itâs all too easy.
And now? Now itâs time to turn it up a notch.
Youâve been toying with him for days now, watching as he stiffens every time you get a little too close, testing how much he can take before his composure cracks. You see the way his breath catches when you âaccidentallyâ brush your arm against his as you pass by. He doesnât say a word, but you know. You can see it in the way his eyes flash with something darker, something needy, before he shifts uncomfortably in his chair.
You know what youâre doing to him.
And youâre fucking loving it.
*-*
For two weeks, youâve been shamelessly pushing Nanami to his limits.
You flirt, you linger, you brush your hand against his arm just a little too long, your skirts are shorter, tighterâdesigned to test the boundaries of his sanity.
And he notices.
Oh, he notices.
But what you donât see is whatâs going on beneath that perfectly calm, stoic exterior.
Because Nanami is losing his fucking mind.
Every look, every casual touch, every time you lean just a little too closeâitâs like pouring gasoline on the fire inside him. Heâs never been this affected by anyone, and now it feels like heâs constantly teetering on the edge of a cliff.
He triesâhe really doesâto keep his composure. Heâs a professional, damn it. A man of control and discipline. But you? Youâre unraveling him piece by piece.
*-*
She knows. Oh, God, she fucking knows. Why is she looking at me like that? Is she doing this on purpose? Sheâs doing this on purpose. That skirtâdid it get shorter? Thatâs not appropriate for the office, right? Should I say something? No. No, shut up, you idiot. Just focus on your work. Sheâs walking toward you. Act normal. Actâ
âHey, Nanami, could you help me with something?â you ask, your voice sweet, with just the faintest hint of teasing.
His throat goes dry. He looks up, forcing his expression to remain neutral, professional. âOf course. What do you need?â
You lean closer, your hand brushing his shoulder as you point to your tablet. âI canât figure out this formula. Can you show me?â
He doesnât miss the way your perfume lingers in the air, soft and floral, and itâs driving him mad.
âSure,â he says, his voice even, betraying nothing of the way his heart is hammering in his chest.
But inside? Heâs screaming.
*-*
This is a problem. Sheâs doing it on purpose. She has to be. That look she gave me this morning? That wasnât casual. No, that was calculated. Sheâs testing me, trying to see how far Iâll go. Does she know how much Iâ
He canât even finish the thought. Because the truth is, his daydreams are becoming increasingly inappropriate, increasingly desperate.
He imagines you sitting on his lap in his office chair, your arms draped around his neck as you laugh at something he said. He imagines kissing youâsoft at first, then deeper, more passionate, until heâs completely lost in you. He imagines everything he wants to do to you, and itâs enough to make him clench his fists under his desk, trying to hold himself together.
*-*
One afternoon, youâre standing next to his desk, going on about some report, and he canât take it anymore. Youâre wearing a dress that hugs you in all the right places, and the way youâre looking at him, with that mischievous little glint in your eyeâitâs too much.
âEnough,â he says, his voice low, controlled.
You blink, taken aback. âWhat?â
He stands, towering over you, his jaw tight, his eyes fixed on yours. âI canât do this anymore.â
âDo what?â you ask, feigning innocence, though the slight curve of your lips betrays you.
âThis,â he says, gesturing vaguely between the two of you. âThe teasing. The looks. The... whatever this is. If youâre trying to drive me insane, congratulations. Youâve succeeded.â
You grin, your eyes sparkling. âOh? And what are you going to do about it?â
He hesitates for a fraction of a second, then takes a step closer, his voice dropping to a near whisper. âIâm going to ask you on a date.â
Your grin widens, and you cross your arms, leaning in just slightly. âIs that so?â
âYes,â he says firmly, his confidence unwavering now. âSaturday. Seven oâclock. Iâll pick you up.â
You laugh, the sound light and genuine, and he feels his chest tighten all over again.
âOkay, Nanami. Youâve got yourself a date.â
*-*
The date is perfect.
Nanami shows up at your door precisely at seven, looking sharp in a navy suit and holding a small bouquet of red dahliasâyour favorite. Dinner is a mix of light conversation and laughter, the two of you falling into an easy rhythm that feels like youâve known each other forever.
When he walks you back to your apartment, the air between you is warm, charged with something unspoken.
âWant to come up?â you ask, your voice soft, your eyes searching his.
He hesitates for half a second before nodding. âYes.â
*-*
Your apartment is cozy, filled with little touches that are unmistakably you. Nanami takes it all inâyour bookshelves, your mismatched throw pillows, the faint scent of vanilla in the air.
But then youâre there, standing close to him, your eyes meeting his, and everything else fades away.
The first kiss is tentative, a soft meeting of lips that quickly deepens as he pulls you closer, his hands resting on your waist. You sigh against him, your fingers threading through his hair, and he groans softly, losing himself in the warmth of you.
âNanami,â you murmur, pulling back just enough to catch your breath.
âI hate you,â he says, his voice low, a teasing smile playing at his lips.
You laugh, your forehead resting against his. âDo you?â
âYes,â he whispers, pressing another kiss to your lips. âI hate the way you consume my thoughts. I hate the way you make me feel so... so...â
âAlive?â you offer, grinning.
âExactly,â he murmurs, kissing you again, slower this time, like heâs savoring the moment.
Before things can go further, your cat jumps onto the couch, meowing loudly, and you both break apart, laughing.
âExcuse me,â Nanami says, his voice soft but firm as he picks up the cat and carries it to another room. âWe need privacy.â
When he returns, youâre still laughing, but he silences you with another kiss, his hands cradling your face.
Between kisses, he whispers things that make your heart ache in the best way.
âYou drive me crazy... but I donât want it to stop. Youâre everything I didnât know I needed.â
By the time the night ends, youâre both a mess of tangled limbs and whispered confessions, and for the first time in weeks, Nanami feels like heâs exactly where heâs meant to be.
A/N: sorryyy, this might be ooc for him? im unsure...
Masterlist.

âplease donât do that.â
you were undoubtedly the most defiant, stubborn girl kento had ever met.
âand why not?â you pouted. âitâs just for a little bit⌠and i canât leave my friend hanging when sheâs dealing with such a crisis! she needs my help.â
âyour help.â kento repeated. âshe needs your help going to a partyâŚ. at one in the morning.â
âitâs not a party itâs a small gatheringââ
ây/n the hour is ungodly right nowâŚâ he sighed, rubbing his forehead. âi donât believe this is very wise.â
you finished applying your blush and stepped back from your large vanity, quickly placing your brush back in itâs holder and grabbing your bottle of perfume, spritzing it.
âitâs fine ken!â you looked up and smiled. âiâll just be gone for a little while iâll be back beforeââ
âiâm sorryââ he held a palm up. âyouâll just be gone? darling, you realize i have to go with you.â
âbut whyyy?â you mumbled, slouching dramatically and chucking your perfume bottle on your bed. âtwo hours! just give me two hours i promise iâll be backââ
âiâm afraid not.â
âwhyyyy!â you whined again, and kento only looked at you with a straight stoic face.
âbecause itâs my job to go with you and you know that.â
and youâd always been defiant and stubborn, kento having known you since you were a little girl as both his and your father were family friends for years, your upbringing a little different from his as your father was exponentially wealthy and owned various companies and properties, his parents just so happening to work for him and gain special bonds and camaraderie over the time of your growing lives.
though kento was only three years older than youâ the gap nothing notable or too drastic, it sure as hell felt like it with how bratty and rebellious you were sometimes on a day to day basis that he had to bare witness of since the age of fourteen.
so why kento thought of you so much when you were the epitome of a spoiled princess⌠was a little unclear to him.
or maybe he did know exactly whyâ the reasoning transparently clear, to a fucking T actually⌠yet his pride and the oath he had set with your father the minute kento started pursuing his desired career after high school, hindered him from ever admitting anything to anyone. especially you.
and because he constantly ignored the way he felt, he was regrettably perplexed every time he was around youâ which was literally every single second of every waking day since the moment he received his protection licensing⌠for kento was your bodyguard, hired by your father who saw his interests in technical protection training, and trusted no other man around his daughter other than kento himself, encouraging him to pursue it as a career in the promise that he would guarantee him a positionâ one with a pay that would have him set for the rest of his life so long as his precious little daughter was happy and safe.
and kento took the offer without so even as a twitch in his serious expression for two reasons.
the first was the obvious, to solidify proper employment for himself in the career that heâd always paid particular interest in ever since he was a kidâ to make a man out of himself and work under prestigious and professional levels of security with someone, your father, whoâs orders of authority were equivalent to a president, and a man he admired like no other and dreamed of owning a business that was as fruitful as his.
and the otherâŚÂ was to keep an eye on you.
you were reckless, bratty, naive, troublesome, silly, and never took absolutely anything seriouslyâ all things that worried kento to no end anytime you so even managed to slip from his sharp attentive line of sight since the both of you were young.
and you escaping him happened a little more often than heâd like to admit.
like now.
ây/nââ
kento sharply turned upon hearing your snickering little giggles zooming past him and trailing from down the hall already, him swiftly retrieving his blazer that he had previously set on one of your lounge chairs and settling it over his arm, long and hasty steps striding out of your bedroom and down the hall, him peaking in several dark open doors and hallways of your ginormous mansion of a home on his wayâ the clicking of your heels and you still giggling serving as a guide for him to find you.
he sighed.
âdarling, this isnât going to change the fact that i still have to accompany youââ
kento rounded the corner and entered one of the many lounge area rooms your father used for business meetings and partnerships, your little head poking out from behind one of the large sofas with a disgruntled pouty look.
âsays who?â
âsays me.â he took the blazer from his arm and extended it, shaking it out a little and preparing to put it on. âand your father.â
you let out a tiny grumble, getting up off your knees and standing.
âbut donât you wanna go to sleep ken?â
âvery much so.â
âso then go! iâm giving you permission heh!â you chirped, sending him a striking smile. âi wonât tell my father! or anyone! you deserve a good nights restââ
âiâm going with you and thatâs final.â
you threw your head back and groaned in frustration, kento finding your tantrum a little amusing as he chuckled and shrugged on his blazer.
âyou want to go to this event, yes?â
you funnily slugged on over to his side with dragging steps, eyes to the floor.Â
âmhmâŚâ
âso then enough fighting and letâs go.â he stepped to the side and gently ushered you forward. âiâd like to be back before your father wakes up.â
you walked forward and out of the lounge room, the both of you beginning your journey down the hall and towards the grand staircase, kento following behind you as you still internally huffed and puffed about him coming along.
your refutes to kento joining you werenât because you didnât like him or anything like that⌠it was quite the opposite actually.
you were obsessed with that man.
âyou scare my friends you knowâŚâ
the side of his lip quirked.
âdo i?â
âmhm.â
âhow so sweetheart?â
âi think itâs your face.â you turned your head around and looked behind you as you walked, hands wringing behind your back with a cute grin. âitâs so serious. and it might be because youâre always staring them down whenever they hang out with me.â
kento calmly walked ahead of you and stepped down a few steps, his hand automatically coming up to assist you and you taking it as you carefully descended down the steps, a gentle act he always did for you.
he pursed his lips.Â
âiâm simply doing my job⌠but i suppose i could lay off a bit.â
you giggled. âno itâs okay ken! i agree. they just donât know you like i do.â
ever since you practically met him you were obsessedâ him being the most poised and respectful piece of hunk to ever grace your life, as kento was so unbelievably different from all of the other straight up boys in your life that deemed themselves to be men, when in reality they didnât even come close to that whatsoever.
kento nanami was the definition of a man.
and out of everything that youâve ever received on a silver platter with zero hesitation since technically birthâŚÂ you wanted him the most.
except you were convinced he wasnât obsessed with you like you were with him.
because the second kento became your bodyguard at the age of literal nineteen, there wasnât ever a moment that you remember where he wasnât with you and pulled to your side like a magnetâ guarding and watching your every move and making sure that you were out of harms way no matter what, all things that were automatic and essentially part of the job description.
but you feared that it was just that.
that kento didnât view you the way you viewed him⌠that you were just a client to him and that the reason he was always around was because he had to be, and not because he wanted to.
you feared that kento only saw you as some helpless spoiled girl who couldnât do anything for herself and therefore always needed guidance, and you also feared that because heâd known you since you were little and became your bodyguard when you were sixteen, that he still saw you as a sixteen year old and not the full grown woman that you were now.
the thought was mortifying to you.
and you wondered if kento had ever thought about you as something more than justâ a client? maybe.. maybe as a lover?
did he at least view you as a friend?
but more importantly, if he wasnât your bodyguard⌠would he stay?Â
kento assisted you down to the very last step as you shook away your thoughts, the both of you making your way out through the front glass double doors and over to his car in the open driveway, a sleek and shiny black luxury SUV that you always preferred to sit in rather than your own vehicle as his little passenger princessâ always and forever and at times putting up a fight when your father would make you drive instead of kento, spouting some nonsense about how he didnât want you to forget how to drive and become an incompetent girl.
and youâd each time just scoff and roll your eyesâ your father always looking for ways to jab scoldings at you and fuss over every choice youâd make regardless of how big or small it was, believing you to be an incompetent girl anyways and you choosing to ignore him and scowl as you moved behind kentoâs big buff frame to hide, him knowing to take over and speak for you whenever you did, as your father listened to him better than he did you ever since you were young.
kento in a way also scolded you often and fussed over your choices⌠but he was gentle. never raising his voice at you or overstepping any boundaries that made you feel like you were stupid and incapable of things, him always giving you the chance to fix it or refute with an open mind and heart to hear you out⌠and you loved kento. that was a given.
and your dramatic self deemed that the day kento yelled at you for the first time for whatever reasonâ was the day that you died.
kento smoothly smiled over what you said with closed lips and opened the car door for you, you getting in and pinching the skirt of your flowy mesh dress to readjust once you were seated, straightening it up over your legs as he rounded over and got in the drivers seat.
âi know a way you can lay off a bit so you donât scare off my friends tonight ken!â
he started the engine and flickered on the high beams, your eyes squinting at the sudden brightness ahead of you.
âand that is..?â
you grinned and leaned over the center console, placing your elbow on it and propping your chin up with your palm, him looking at you expectantly.
so handsome.
âwhy donât you stare at me instead of staring at them!â
kento breathed in as he looked away, steering around and out of the driveway while your close proximity and sweet expensive perfume wafted all around himâ filling up his every system with everything that was wonderfully you as he tried hard not to let it show.
âi believe i already do just that.â he spoke. âitâs my job to watch you darling.â
âokay then watch me harder.â
he blinked, your wording somehow twinging a sense of provocativeness when it wasnât anything like that at all, and he wanted to wash his brain out with holy water for thinking of something inappropriate like that with you.
but you leaned even closer, lips by his ear as he turned the steering wheel to make an easy left.
âyouâre supposed to have eyes only for me right?â
kento swallowed.
âiâm supposed to have eyes everywhere.â
you playfully rolled your eyes and leaned back a bit. âokay⌠but maybe for tonight, just me!â
âiâm afraid if itâs just you i wonât be able to watch for any other signs of abnormalityââ
âoh my god booo!â you huffed and plopped back down in your seat, arms crossing as you stared ahead. âyouâre no funâŚâ
kento chuckled and lifted his arm, patting your head and you blushing before he placed his hand back on the gear shift, the only thing on your mind now was how much you wanted to stuff his big fingers in your mouthâ
âthe event is still the one on melrose street, correct?â
your eyes snapped in his direction. âhuh? oh yes! yes it is.â
he pursed his lips, an uncertain look on his face as you faltered and furrowed your brows.
âwhat ken? whatâs wrong?â
âis it the same host and organization as last time?â
âummâŚâ you pulled your phone out from your purse and scrolled to the initial invite you had received through a friend, perfectly manicured nails tapping away. âuh huh! iâm pretty sure⌠how come?â
âi donât think itâd be very wise to go⌠you got extremely inebriated the last time we went.â
you snorted and waved him off. âthatâs because it was my friends birthday ken. i was celebrating!â
âyou barfed in a bush as soon as we got home.â
âpart of the experience!â
kento shook his head and sighed through his nose, a small smile on his face as he peaked over at you from the side.
ârowdy little girl.â
little girl.
and you felt an unpleasant tug at your heart, you pursing your lips and wanting to defy what he called you.
âi was fine after though, was i not?â
you suddenly grabbed his hand and dropped it down on your exposed thigh, his rough hand making contact with your skin as he accidentally jerked the steering wheel and looked at you with bewildered eyes, you only throwing your head back and laughing.
âwhat?â you spoke in between giggles. âiâm cold! and your handâs so warmââ
âhoneyââ
âyour job is to take care of me right?â you sweetly smiled, and he felt a flutter of familiar yet confusing affection swirl up in his chest at the sight. âand youâre doing just that!â
kento cleared his throat and nodded, hand staying on your thigh and you giddy on the inside as he held it.
âjust know that i have a blanket in the back in case my hand doesnât suffice.â he mentioned, pulling up to a gated community. âthe weather is a bit colder these days.â
your eyes softened, staring at the side of his chiseled jaw and face as he exchanged a few words with the security guard at the front, flashing his ID before the guard gave him the all clear and muttered something over his walkie talkie, the gates slowing sliding open as a result.
âwhy do you have a blanket in the back ken?â you asked softly and looked down, the tip of your index finger tracing over the prominent veins on the back of his hand.
âfor you.â he replied. âyou get cold frequently.â
you grinned.
âawww you remembered!ââ
you unbuckled your seatbelt, jumped up from your seat, and flung your arms around his neck and practically stuffed his cheek up against your chest as you gushed, kentoâs eyes blinking wide eyed and cheeks fucking flaring as he tried to keep steady hands on the wheel and not swerve into the garbage bins in front of the designated mansion, music already blaring through and seeping through the vents of the car as he fumbled to shift the gear into parkâ stiffening the hell out of his neck and not daring to turn his head even the slightest in your direction in fear of facing your breasts head on.
âiâ i appreciate the sentiment sweetheartââ
you pulled back a tiny bit, your arms still tightly locked around his neck but giving him enough space to turn his head to look up at you now, your twinkling hyper eyes shining even through the darkness of the car, kento almost forgetting about the close proximity between the two of you entirely, and also almost forgetting about how this wasâ regrettablyâŚÂ considered to be inappropriate.
he was your bodyguard, he was supposed to protect you, not think about the way your perfect smile right now was so incredibly soul crushing and doing it in just the right way tooâ suffocating his entire being as he tried hard again, in real time, to kick those disrespectful thoughts to the back of his mind and focus on what he was meant to be doing and thinking⌠all of which pertained to his guidance for you, and your safety, most of all.
but you were beautiful.Â
there was no denying that.
âyou know me best out of anyone ken.â
and he did. he truly truly did.
but to kento, you were that forbidden fruit, cast away up into the highest of branches and dangling off of the tallest most unreachable tree of allâ glimmering against the sun, magnificent⌠waiting to be picked by the person who dared to and claim it as their own without a single worry of the troubles that came with ravishing it.
but claiming and ravishing that forbidden fruit definitely came with itâs dire consequences, and kento nanami was an honorable man.Â
if he were to give in to his pulsing desires for you, desires that he couldnât even exactly make sense of as he continued to manifest total and utter blockage in his mind to prevent those thoughts from seeping through, not only would he deal with the embarrassing repercussions with your fatherâ his boss, but inevitably drag you down with him too, as he knew your father has always been rather harsh with you.
and you didnât deserve to be dragged down just because he couldnât control his emotions.
you frowned, tilting your head as you assessed kentoâs strange far off look.
âken?â you asked. âkenny ken?â
âeh?â he blinked rapidly. âoh iâm sorry y/n. i was⌠thinking.â
âthinking?âÂ
you let him go and sat back in your seat, the warmth from your arms dissipating and the goosebumps around his neck prominent now by the chilliness of the car.
âthinking about what?â you quipped, smiling again. âabout meee?â
night and day.
âiâm afraid not.â he switched off the ignition and held the keys in his hand. âmore about how you should be at home and in bed and most definitely not here.â
you pouted, slumping in your seat as you watched him get out of the car and walk over to your side, opening your door for you and offering a hand for you to take.
âbut ken iâm helping a friend.â you took his hand and carefully stepped out, him closing the door behind you as you began walking up the sidewalk with kento following close behind you, the car beeping and flashing its lights to signify he had locked it.
âhoney, your friend is a grown woman.â you both walked up the steps and continued down the long wide driveway, other guests traveling alongside you towards the mansion. âshe doesnât need moral support from you to attend an event.â
âyeah and i donât need a bodyguard for every little thing i do, do i?â you countered, slowing down your steps a little and nudging your shoulder with his. âhm?â
he gave you a deadpanned look.
âactually, you do.â
you scoffed. âno i do not.â
the two of you entered through the grand entranceâ doors already open and with a set of security guards on each side as you passed them, kentoâs already alert senses amplified now that you both were in an unpredictable loud environment such as this, and with way too many people for kento to keep track of besides yourself as he scanned the area, ticking the usual and automatic tiny boxes in his head that indicated the area was alright for the time being.
âif my friend is such a grown woman, then so am i!â you yelled over the music as you walked through the mansion to get to the pool area outside, passing by several caterers and butlers with small appetizer dishes on silver trays or champagne glasses, you taking one as your gaze switched between person to person to see if you could try and find anyone you recognized.
kento shook his head a little.
contrary to your popular belief, you never acted like a grown woman sometimesâ constantly rebellious and spontaneous with no hesitations to do anything remotely reckless⌠and that worried him to absolutely no end as he was living in constant stress over something happening to youâ something that he could easily prevent and steer you away from because thatâs what he was fucking there for.
but you were always against it, and he didnât know why when it was simply just protection.
upon entering the pool area, your eyes lit up at the rowdy scene before youâ party guests jumping into the pool in full fledged clothing or throwing each other in, the bar at the end of the backyard lively and busy with multiple individuals already drunk off of their minds as they clumsily passed by you and nearly tumbled you over, kento each time quick to grab your shoulders and gently pull you away so theyâd just about miss you and continue on.
and the minute he caught sight of your group of friends off to the side of the bubbling jacuzzi right before you did, every single one of them already inebriated and rambunctious, he knew he was in for a night of chasing you around and getting you to sober up a little to refrain yourself from running across the lawn in only your undergarments like the last party you both attended.
ây/n! hi!â one of your friends slightly slurred, the one with the âcrisisâ, reaching behind her to grab a red solo cup of god knows what and passing it to you. âhere! i just got some from the kitchen!â
âwhat is it?â you laughed, on the verge of placing the brim to your lips when kento suddenly nudged you, gently prying it away from your fingers and lifting it up to his nose for inspection, you playfully rolling your eyes as you turned back to your friend.
âdunno!â she shrugged, flashing you a wobbly grin. âitâs a mix of tequila aaandddâŚÂ cranberry tonic! yeah!â
âsmells awfully strong.â kento muttered in your ear, passing the cup back to you. âjust moderate your intake.â
âokay dad.â you mocked, the little side smile on your face never failing to deactivate any further scoldings from him about how you shouldnât drink that mix and maybe get something else, him deciding to just let you have fun regardless of the work he was about to be put through⌠as it was hard for kento to say no to you at times anyways.
you brought the rim back to your lips and took a sip, your face immediately scrunching up and gagging.
âthe fuck is this?â you placed a hand over your mouth. âtastes nothing like cranberry and just straight vodkaââ
you ended up drinking the entire cup and two more fills after that, kento each time gently advising you not to and that youâd had enough, but you only pouting and bratty and defying him with every attempt he made at pulling the drink away from you, a water bottle in hand that heâd snagged from one of the coolers as he swiftly moved through the twists and turns of the crowd to stay caught up with you, a skill he was an expert at at this point considering how often you disappeared from his line of sight.
âsweetheart pleaseââ kento caught you by the waist just as you were about to literally jump in the pool, you giggling and hiccuping as he dragged you away. âletâs take a seat for a moment alright? you need to drink water.âÂ
âwhat i need is a teeny weeny kiss from you ken!â
he faltered, eyes dropping to the ground as he continued to half drag and half carry your body to a nearby table away from the commotion by the pool, setting you down on a chair.
âyou need water.â he pushed as he knelt down on a knee in front of you, unscrewing the cap. âand iâm forbidding you from attending any events like this for a month.â
âa month?!â you whined, head dramatically falling back in desperation. âbut why? what did i do?!â
âi told you to moderate your intake.â he gently grabbed your jaw and brought the water bottle to your lips, carefully holding it up for you to drink. âyou were just about to jump in the pool darling and ruin your dress.â
lowering the bottle, your cheeks cutely puffed up with water as you shook your head side to side.
you swallowed. âlies. i was simply walking!â
he fixed the strap of your dress that was halfway sliding off, pulling it back over your shoulder.
âyes into the pool.â he brought the water bottle back to your lips and you drank some more before he lowered it again. âyou need to be more careful y/n.â
you pouted. âare you mad at me ken?â
ânot mad just quite stressedââ
âpull my dress up and spank me then.â
kento slapped a hand over his eyes and shook his head, cheeks buzzing pink at your ludicrous statement.
âdonât say things like that honey.â
âand why not?â you tilted your head, pearly white teeth glimmering against the warm lights of the backyard as he dropped his hand. âthought you loved me.â
âplease sober up.â he breathed out exhaustedly, heart hammering against his fucking chest as he made you drink water again. âbefore you say something silly againââ
you abruptly pulled back and a few droplets of water dribbled down your chin, kento quick to grab the handkerchief in his suit to pat you dry as you narrowed your eyes.
âyou think loving me is silly?â you muttered, a little slur at the end of your sentence.
âof course not darling.â he spoke softly, placing the handkerchief down on the table behind you. âthe other thing you said was sillyââ
âwhatâ spanking me?â you lit up again. âbut itâs hot. and i want it. you should do it once we get to the carââ
kento slapped a hand over your mouth this time, wide frantic eyes looking around to see if anyone had heard your loud lewd blabbering, his face absolutely fucking red at this point as he tried not to vividly imagine what you had just said⌠and pathetically failing at it too.
âenough. weâre going home. you have brunch with the monroeâs tomorrow.â
ânuh uh!â
you pulled his hand away from your mouth and gripped the edges of your chair, trying to cement yourself to it as he wrapped his arms around your body and pulled and tugged, you laughing when heâd manage to of courseâ lift you up⌠but the chair along with it as well.
âlet go please.â
ânope!â
âi said let go y/n.â
âif you give me a kiss!â
kento put you back down and sighed.
âyou are unbelievably inebriated.â
âand you are unbelievably handsome.â you cheesed as you got closer, your nose brushing against his and kentoâs breath catching in his throat, stiffening up.
âdarling you donât know what youâre sayingââ
âyes i do.â you spoke, endearingly nudging your nose softly with his and kentoâs eyes warming at the act. âyouâre gods favorite.â
hopeless hopeless girlâŚ
his eyes sinfully flickered down to your pretty lips, plushy and delightful as they perfectly stretched in such a way to form a striking smile that always sent men to their knees wherever you both went, him baring witness to it all as your bodyguard⌠and him includedâ falling to his knees over you.
for kento was just as hopeless as you.
but he was better at ignoring it until it became this puzzling blur in his brain that confused the ever living shit out of him.
âletâs go home.â
his breath fanned against your lips and you softly shook your head.
âkiss me then weâll go.â
kentoâs forehead fell against yours, eyes closing in borderline pain as his big hands came up to cup your cheeks, your own eyes loopily widening with overactive exciting thoughts over what was about to transpire.
if he was about to kiss you⌠could this mean he didnât view you as just a client? as a little girl? but a woman?
was he considering it? did you have a chance? was he actually about to fucking kiss you?â
kento sharply breathed in and turned your head slightly to the side, planting his lips hard on your cheek and him unmoving for a moment, you still wide eyed and shocked as your cheek mushed up against the force of his mouth.
he pulled back with a smack! and stood, hand extending out for you to take.
âready now?â
your fingers slowly came up to the side of your face in a complete daze, because though it wasnât a full blown kiss, the linger of his lips was still there even after the gesture was long over, your little cheek tingling and warm.
you nodded, taking his hand and attempting to stand but reeling over as you did, your head in complete drunken disarray as kentoâs arms quickly shot out and caught you from falling face first on the ground.
âi canâtââ you giggled, hiccuping between each laugh. âi canât walk ken. and my feet hurt.â
âiâm aware.â he sighed, sitting you back down on the chair and kneeling again, grabbing your ankle.
âwhat are you doing?â you asked, watching the way he propped up your foot and tugged at the clasp on your heels, carefully sliding it off and beginning to do the same with the other.
âyouâre in pain, yes?â he slipped your other heel off and stood, placing your heels on a nearby table before positioning himself next to you, sliding a hand under your knees. âput your arms around my neck sweetheart.â
you did as told, your little heart singing happy drunken tunes over him being such a gentleman and taking care of you in the way that he was, you knowing in the morning youâd regret it and be embarrassed, but choosing to bask in the moment for the meantime and deal with the horrific hungover consequences later.
kento easily lifted you with only one fucking arm supporting you under your knees as you held on, his other hand grabbing your heels before weaving through the other tables and venturing out of the pool area, everybody else too inebriated to care or notice some big bulky man carrying you out through the backyard and inside the mansion, your head resting against his chest.
âare you alright?â he asked, taking a quick glance down at you as he reached the grand entrance to exit. âdo you feel ill?â
âno iâm okay.â you smiled. âjust thinking about the fact that youâre a cheater.â
he chuckled. âa cheater? in what way?â
kento carefully stepped down the steps and began his walk across the spacious lawn back to the car, you tightening your grip on his neck and wanting him to hold you like this forever.
âthe deal was for a kiss.â
âand i gave you one.â he softly smiled, squeezing your thigh a little in emphasis.
âon the cheek!â you retorted. âi wanted one on the mouth.â
kento blushed furiously and looked away, trying to straighten himself up as he walked down the sidewalk with you in his arms.
âyou didnât specify darling.â
âyeaahhh right.â you mumbled, watching the lights of his car flash up ahead as it unlocked by the click of kentoâs keys, him coming up to the passenger side and opening the door. âjust say youâre repulsed by me.â
he scoffed. âyouâre saying silly things again.â
âthe proof is in the pudding.â
kento carefully bent and set you down on your seat, placing your heels next to you on the floor and straightening out the skirt of your dress for you.Â
âthe proof is that youâre drunk. iâm not making any moves like that when youâre not in the correct state of mind.â
you gasped and slapped a hand over your mouth. âare you saying you would have? if i was sober? did you bring my water with you? i need to drink it right now where is itââ
âdear god i did not say that.â he closed the door and came round to the other side, an amused little smile on his lips as he got in. âand iâm sorry but i left it behind.â
âkentooo!â you whined. ânow how else are you supposed to kiss me?â
he shakily pressed the âonâ button for the ignition and looked away, your bold words and requests and moves serving as sheer torment to him as they one after the other kept being thrown at his face, him aware this is how you usually were anyways, but ten times unbelievably worse now that you were intoxicated.
and kento was growing weaker.
âiâm not supposed to do anything.â he backed out of the parking space and sped off. âand itâs nearly four in the morning y/n. you have brunch with the monroeâs at ten and youâre supposed to be up by eight.â
you groaned, head dropping back against the headrest as you crossed your arms.Â
âi never wanted to go to that in the first place.â you muttered. âthe monroeâs and their girl friends and whoever else is going are a bunch of boring bitches. all they talk about is what their daddies just bought them.â
the yearly monroe brunch was a way for you and the other daughters of your fathers various business partners to bond and maintain connections, some sort of peace treaty between them all so long as their little preppy daughters were kept satisfied and spoiled, your father forcing you to go every year and demanding you to keep friendships with them all, insisting that it would serve beneficial to him with their parents and help nourish the business even more than it already was.
you genuinely liked the monroe daughters and the rest of the girls at first, sixteen year old you seeking their validation and acceptance for years and constantly following after every little thing that they did, afraid of slipping up and landing in their rotten graces as soon as you did anything that would upset themâŚÂ until they started badmouthing kento.
after that you didnât give a fuck.Â
because anyone that was so willing as to talk bad about such a respectful and kind man as kento to you, was someone who immediately feel in your rotten graces, each and every one of them doing so the minute they started calling him weird for constantly following you around, putting him down for it and saying he should find something better to do than be your bodyguard, and that you didnât need such high class protection and deeming it unnecessary.
whether they were jealous of the fact that you had a bodyguard and they didnât was mystery to you, but ever since that day, you despised the yearly monroe brunch, you now aware of who they truly were and realized how blind you were to it just because you were seeking their validationâ wanting nothing to do with them from that point forward and begging your father to just let you skip out and that they were better off without you there anyways.
but he never listened.
kento laughed, nodding curtly over what you said. âalthough true, you still have to go honey.â
âi donât know why my father canât just piss off.â you sighed and looked out the window, cars zooming past you as he drove down the freeway. âi really donât see the point in me going.â
âyouâre an important asset.â he spoke. âall of the daughters coming together is tradition.â
âwhatâ to sit there and drink tea and eat muffins? stupidest tradition iâve ever heard ken.â
he chuckled, reaching over to pat your thigh and your cheeks going pinky as he did so, your drunken mind still somehow clearly recalling when he had his warm hand on you earlier in the car prior to the party.
he went to retract his hand and you quickly stopped him, timidly placing it back on your thigh and settling your hand over his big one, the both of you nervously avoiding eye contact and choosing not to say anything.
kento understood wholeheartedly why you hated going to the monroe brunch so much, for he wasnât particularly a fan of hearing them talk for hours about whoâd they just dumped or what theyâd just bought, and he sympathized with youâ really, your father although a man he admired for his work ethic and sought after for his approval, was unrighteously stoic with you and always dismissed your thoughts and opinions, the fact saddening kento whenever he witnessed it first hand.
âyouâll be alright.â he spoke up quietly again, noticing the way you were dozing off a little in your seat. âitâs just for brunch. you wonât have to worry about seeing them again until next year.â
âyou mean until the dinner party weâre hosting next week.â you sleepily muttered, eyes closed as both of your hands laid over his that was on your thigh, holding it almost as if you were afraid that kento would pull away, his eyes softening at the thought.
âah, thatâs right.â he pulled into your gated community, the security guard already recognizing kento and his car as he merely waved and pressed the button to open the gate, driving through once it did entirely. âi had forgotten.â
âmmm..â you hummed, and he smiled, facing the road again and turning the wheel with every curve and turn of your neighborhood, your dimly lit mansion coming into view eventually and him pulling up to park in your grandiose driveway next to you car, turning off the ignition.
you laid still and pretty in your seat, chest slowly rising and falling as you softly breathed through your nose, you in a drunken slumber as kento quietly got out of the car and went over to your side, opening your door.
âdarling.â he whispered, shuffling an arm under your knees and the other on your back. âi need to carry you up, okay? hold onto me please.â
you mumbled incoherently and did so, your arms limply wrapping around his neck as he carried you out of the car and shut the door with a push from his leg, locking his car and the little horn going off again as he hoisted you up, walking up the stone path of your driveway and up to the grand double doorsâ one of your housekeeping staff already there holding the door open for you both, them also used to your late night partying and shenanigans.
âthank you.â he whispered gratefully as he passed, and they nodded, locking up the house behind you as kento continued on up the staircase and down the spacious hallway, his dress shoes clicking against the shiny flooring and echoing across the silence as he reached your bedroom.
he carefully set you down on your bed once inside, you groggily rubbing your eyes as he stepped back and over to your large vanity, rummaging through your things and drawers while knocking a few nail polishes and perfumes overâ various clatterings and kento cursing under his breath over the noise, it making you sleepily giggle.
âwhat are you looking for ken?â you whispered, one of your eyes tiredly peeking open.
âyourâ ah⌠iâm afraid i canât remember what itâs calledââ
he gestured to his face. âyou remove your makeup with it sweetheart.â
you closed your eye again. âoh my wipes..? theyâre in the bottom drawer to your left.â
he opened the corresponding drawer and reached in, taking out your makeup remover wipes and walking back over to you, peeling open the packing and sliding an individual white wipe out, you lifting a hand out to grab it but stopping once he moved it away from you.
you drowsily looked up at him, about to speak until he took your chin in between his fingers and tilted you up, him bending a bit and lifting his hand to wipe off your makeup, delicately removing it with precision as you tiredly let a small smile grow on your lips.
âi can do it ken itâs okay.â
he shook his head, you closing your eyes as he wiped off your mascara. âoh itâs alright youâre exhausted⌠and iâve seen you do it quite a few times.â
you peaked your other eye open, his handsome face so unforgettable against the moonlight streaming through your balcony doors that your little sleepy heart started gushing over literally just who he was, your head leaning into his touch.
âkayâŚâ
he finished wiping the rest of it off after a minute, tossing it into your little bin under your vanity desk before walking over to your walk-in closet and disappearing for a few moments, coming back out with one of your silk baby blue pajama sets in hand, offering it out to you.
âchange please.â you sluggishly took the set from him and nodded. âiâll be just outsideââ
âno itâs okay.â you stood and reached for the hem of your dress. âyou can stayââ
you pulled up your dress with no fucks given and kentoâs eyes bulged open, immediately slapping a hand over his eyes and spinning around with his heart thumping on overdrive, the image of your perfect body adorned with a lacy white bra and panties a hard one to try andâ unfortunatelyâ forget for the sake of respecting your privacy and the most intimate parts of yourself.
you giggled and kento shook his head in desperation, placing a hand on his hip.
âdonât do things like that honey.â he scolded gently, a hand still over his eyes as you changed. âat least wait until i avert my attentionââ
âyou donât wanna see?â you pouted, finishing by buttoning up your top and tugging at the sleeve of his suit for him to turn around. âitâs all for you ken.â
forâ forâ
oh dear god help him.
âitâs time to sleep.â he reached around you and pulled back the covers of your bed, you whining. âcome on you have brunch with the monroeâsââ
you grumbled and climbed on, dropping yourself on the mattress and shuffling under your various fluffy blankets and sheets, him helping you in pulling them over you until they were settled comfortably by your chest.
âkento.â
âhm?â he hummed, still fiddling with your blankets and basically tucking you in, you finding it incredibly sweet.
âthank you for always taking care of me.â
he stopped, eyes flickering to yours before a soft close lipped smile spread across his face.
âof course darling.â he patted your head. âitâs what iâm here for.â
you knew what he was actually supposed to be there for was only for your protectionâ to only clock in when you went to events and clock out the second said event was over and done with and you were back home safe and sound.
except kento clocked in the moment your eyes opened for the day, and clocked out as soon as they closed again at night, him by your side through everything in your life and not just for special events, but making sure you had had enough to eat and that you werenât sick after you spent the day out without a jacket (much to his pestering), that you finished your homework when you were in school and helped you with it as best as he could, and that he was your shoulder to cry on whenever your father yelled at you over something idiotic againâ all in all taking care of you like you thought a lover would do for their most treasured thing.
and you hoped you were kentoâs most treasured thing.
he was yours, after all.
âi like when you call me darling.â you murmured softly. âand honey. and sweetheart.â
kento swallowed and blushed, thankful that it was sort of dark in your room and that you couldnât see how pink in the face he actually was over something so minimal.
âiâm glad.â he replied. âyouâd let me know if it ever makes you uncomfortable correct?â
you quickly shook your head. âit never makes me uncomfortable ken⌠ever.â
he nodded, smiling in satisfaction.
âyou know what does make me uncomfortable?â
he faltered, brows furrowing in concern.
âwhat honey?â
âthe fact that you still havenât kissed me on the lipsââ
he sharply breathed in and leaned back to stand upright, you giggling and protesting as you flung your arms around his neck before he could, bringing him roughly back down to you and basically pulling him on top of you as kento let out a little oof at the force.
he planted his palms flat on your mattress, trying to lift himself up a bit but unable to due to the astronomical grip you had on him.
ây/n iâm crushing you let meââ
âso?â
âyou wonât be able to properly breatheââ
âand? this is the way to go!â
kento laughed into your neck then, managing to lift himself up at least a little bit  to look at you.
âsilly girl.â he murmured, and you grinned.
how stunning.
his eyes dangerously switched to your lips, and you noticed this, your heart skipping a small beat in your chest.
âken.â
âyes?â
âwhat do you view me as.â
his gaze shifted and locked with yours, his brows pinching together.
âwhat do you mean honey?â
âlikeââ you pursed your lips, looking away to the side in embarrassment. âdo you see me as just⌠a client? or just a friend? or like a little girl who doesnât know how to do anything? or spoiled?â
âa client?â he repeated. ânot at all thatâsâ an awfully wrong term for what you are.â
your head snapped in his direction.
âreally?â
he sat up, sitting himself down on the edge of your bed next to you and you scooching over.
âyou are spoiled.â he continued, chuckling once he saw the hopeful expression on your face fall and turn sour. âbut it doesnât mean that youâre incapable of doing things⌠iâve never once thought of you as such.â
you hummed in acknowledgement, relieved a little.
âdo you see me as a woman?â you asked softly.
he looked at you confusedly.
âwellâ of course. thatâs what you are, arenât you?â
âno i meanââ you sighed, struggling to get the words out as a blush rose to your cheeks. âlike a woman. like the kind that makes you want toâŚâ
you faltered, and he waited patiently for you to continue.
âlike the kind of woman youâd want to kiss and things⌠likeâ like the kind youâd see yourself falling in love with⌠or am i justâ a friend?â
kento froze.
were you still drunk?
âsweetheart itâs not wise to talk about things like this when youâre inebriated please restââ
âiâm not!â you frantically shook your head. âi sobered up a long time agoâŚâ
dear god.
he canât answer your question. he canât answer your question without straight up lying to you just so he can keep that boundary of respect he had for you and your father, to keep the vow kento had with him as your protector, as your guideâŚ
but kento nanami wasnât a liar.
and kento nanami loved youâ a feeling he had idiotically mistaken for confusion when it was actually the plain and utter truth, for what he felt for you was clearer than anything else in his life, and absolutely nothing about it was ever confusing like he swore up and down before that it was.
heâd knownâŚ. heâd always known. and thatâs perhaps why he took the bodyguard position in the first place without a fret to your father.
to stay by your side.Â
to make sure you were safe⌠with him.
but did he dare?⌠did he dare to take the pretty forbidden fruit he had tried so hard for years to stay clear from? to leave it glimmering and healthy to flourish on its own no matter how badly he wanted to harvest it and claim for himself?
âiââ
he hesitated, your beady doe eyes looking at him so hopefully that it clenched his heart without mercy.
âi love youâŚâ he spoke softly. âbut i donât think you being with me would do you justice.â
you blinked, unsure if you should take that positively or negativelyâ
âbut i love you still⌠you know that.â
you looked at him.
âbut love in what way?â you responded.
because love you in the way of a friend or family member sure, and you knew kento did at least that much and wouldnât have spent so much time with you since the ages of eleven and fourteen if otherwise.
but did he love you?
âlove⌠in the way that makes me want to kiss you.â he tugged at the watch on his wrist, referencing to what you had said before. âand love in the way that makes me want to give everything i have to you honey.â
because he has. heâs been.
âreally?â you whispered, the wind completely knocked out of your lungs as he picked up his head to look at you, nodding.
kento opened his arms out for you then and you slowly pushed the covers off of you, crawling over and extending your arms to wrap around his abdomen, his around your shoulders while you tucked your face into his chest.
âbut i donât think you being with me would do you justice my loveâŚâ he repeated, and you frowned, already feeling your bottom lip wobble.
âwhy?â
âi have too much respect for you and your father.â he explained, caressing your hair through his fingers. âand i feel that iâm taking advantage of my position by being with you always⌠that iâm not giving you a chance to know what itâs like to be with someone elseââ
âi donât want anyone else.â you cut him off. âi donât need to explore to figure that out ken.â
you looked up at him, cheek mushed up against him. âyouâre with me always too⌠do you need a chance to know what itâs like to be with someone else?â
âno.â he shook his head. âno i absolutely do not.â
you giggled softly. âsee? then why would i need one?â
he stared down at you softly, a warm smile that could kill millions if he so let it on his face, and you blushed.Â
âi guess youâre right sweetheart.â
kento continued to run his big fingers through your hair, you dozing off a little at the soothing feeling.
âi donât think your father will be very happy knowing i love you.â
you grumbled. âwho cares what that old fart thinksââ
he snorted, lightly tapping your shoulder in a form of scolding, you laughing and holding him tighter.
âhe doesnât have to know for nowâŚâ you murmured. âand honestly i didnât even know you loved me so i think weâre okayââ
âiâm sorry?â he blinked. âi thought i made it somewhat⌠clear?â
âno!â you countered. âyou rejected every move i made ken⌠you had me basically begging for you.â
his brows pinched in guilt. âiâm sorry my love⌠i was doing it more for you than for me iâ ⌠i didnât have any ill intent behind it.â
âitâs okay ken.â you smiled cutely, pulling back and propping yourself up by your palms on your mattress, leaning and planting a sweet kiss to his cheek. âthough you couldâve just told me you had a begging kink i wouldâve understood and begged you to put your fingers in myââ
kentoâs eyes widened and he shut you up with a hand over your mouth, your muffled giggles seeping through as he shook his head.
âyou have the most vulgar mouth.â
you took his wrist and brought it away, your lips coming next to his ear.
âdo something about it then.â
he stilled.
âor do you want me to say what other things i want you to do to me?â
âenough you need to restââ he placed his hands on your waist with the intent to pull you back and lay you down to sleep⌠but he just couldnât do it, his grip shakily tightening instead.
âwhat i needâŚâ you slid your hands agonizingly slow up his chest and around his broad shoulders, your lips brushing against his with hot steamy desperate breaths fanning across each others faces. âis to know what itâs like to have your fingers in my mouth kenâŚâ
âdarling pleaseââ
ââi wanna lick all over themââ
he respects you... dear god kento respects you heâ he couldnât possibly indulge inâ
ââso i can show you how good i can suck and choke on your cockââ
kento mushed your cheeks together with his fingers and swallowed your lips up, you letting out a little squeak of surprise as his other unoccupied arm locked around your waist and pulled you flush against him, him hungrily kissing you and gulping down your humming moans of satisfaction as you hurriedly swung a leg over his thighs, straddling him.
you disconnected from his lips and pulled back, taking his hand and bringing it up to your mouth as you pushed him down on the mattress with your unoccupied one, kento looking up at you so hot and bothered and astonished as you hovered over him, plump precious lips wrapping around his index and ring finger and sensually sliding it deeper and deeper in your mouth across your wet tongue.
âjesus sweetheartâŚâ he breathed out, eyes entirely transfixed on the way your lips closed around his fingers entirely and sucked, your head pumping slowly and you delighted over how hard he felt underneath his slacks over something as just you sucking on his fingers.
âmâgonna suck your dick.â you spoke with a mouthful of his digits, and he sat up a little.
âmy darling you donâtâ you donât have to do that itâs alrightââ
you slid his fingers out of your mouth and pouted. âbut i want to⌠unless you donât want me to? or do you prefer someone else to do itââ
âwhat? stop that.â he shook his head, reaching up to tuck some of your hair behind your ear as you snickered, his hand coming down to cup your cheek. âiâm just worried about keeping you up⌠you have to get ready in a couple of hours.â
you shrugged, giving him a little grin.
âif itâs you and your big dick keeping me up i could care less.â
you swung your thighs off of his lap and stood momentarily, dropping down to your knees and positioning yourself in between his legsâ kentoâs rounded eyes and shaky breaths making you laugh a little as you reached for the buckle of his belt, tugging the clasp open and him helping you in slipping it off before reaching in his pants, a trembling but needy hand pulling out his thick cock and slowly pumping it.
kento wouldâve never thought youâd be kneeling in between his legs and about to do something heâd only fleetingly thought of, the sinful images quickly grabbed by him before he could materialize them in his head any further and tossed in the trash without looking back, embarrassed and awkwardly flustered that heâd thought of such a thing when you were usually just sitting there on your vanity desk dolling yourself up, or simply speaking to him.
he wouldâve never thought that the questions of being something more to you than just your bodyguard, would actually actualize itself, your pretty lips beginning to wrap around the tip of his cock and all he can think about is you and how many days he spent yearning for you, confusing it for uncertainty, and lying to himself before giving in to the fact that he did love you.Â
and very much so.
to kento, it was a privilege to undergo this intimate experience given by gracious you, and he only wished he didnât push it away for so many years and dismissed your obvious attempts.
for what was happening now, was heavenly compared to the fleeting thoughts he had tossed in the trash prior⌠and your pace was rapid, your deprived little mouth that had begged for him time and time again slurping the ever living soul out of him as he clenched his jaw to keep his moans in, afraid of your father or any of the other housekeeping staff hearing what was filthily happening inside your bedroomâ his face crossed over in pleasurable shock at how messy and drooly you were all over his dick without even allowing yourself the chance to breathe as you sucked.Â
âhoneyââ he heaved, swallowing hard as he gathered your hair up into a makeshift ponytail to keep it out of your face. âsâslow down or youâll chokeââ
you didnât listen, your thighs clenching together to ease yourself a little as you sunk your mouth down and gagged, the tip of his cock lodged in the back of your throat so deliciously that he let out a string of rare curses from his lips.
you slurped back up and pulled off of his length with a pop, you sticking your tongue out and smiling too as you tapped his girthy dick on your tongue teasingly.
âbut i want to choke kenâŚâ you placed an open mouthed slutty kiss on the side. âand iâd like you to fuck my mouth too pleaseââ
âshitââ he cleared his throat, his balls feeling awfully full and heavy as you parted your lips and took him in again. âbut i could potentially harm youââ
you pulled off again. âkento i donât care just use me or iâll make youââ
he quickly gathered your soft hair again, leaned back on an elbow and shoved you back down, bucking his hips up and hitting your uvula so hard that you choked, eyes immediately watering and you moaning as he continued to buck his hips up and force you down, sloshing gurgling noises from you fueling his every being with ecstasy, throwing his head back and eyelids fluttering closed.
âyou have such a dirty mouth sweetheartâŚâ he grunted. âwhere did you learn that from? huh?â
you tried to respond, his relentless hip thrusting and filling your mouth up preventing you from getting anything out besides choking noises and spit, kento picking his head back up and looking at you with half lidded eyes.
âi hope youâre not speaking to other little dumb boys with it and teasing them the way you tease meâŚâ
you tried to shake your head no and get it across that you absolutely were notâ that you were physically repulsed by any other man making moves on you in your life because they were never him⌠but his big cock stuffing your throat was drowning out your every attempt so good that you couldnât.
âno?â a little dazed smile played at his lips, his abdomen tightening and signifying that he was about to blow his entire pent up load in your mouth. âgood honey⌠i donât want you wasting your time.â
he bucked his hips up faster and forced your head down deeper, his panting and low grumbling moans making you fucking wild as you tried your best to take all of him and suck him, tears from how many times you gagged and choked trickling down your cheeks and you not giving a single fuck and pushing through, noticing that kentoâs increased fidgeting and gasping was a signal that he was probably close.
and when you felt him loosen his grip on your hair, gently trying to pry you off so that he could cum somewhere else and not in your throat like the little gentlemen that he was, you slipped your mouth down again and held yourself firm, lips pumping up and down as you jerked him alongside, kento running a hand down the side of his cheek with eyes screwed tightly shut.
âdarling i feelââ he quickly sat up, his expensive watch glistening against the moonlight as his hand fell over his heart. âi feel my release let meââ
he pushed at your shoulders gently and you refused, continuing to suck him off and drive him to the edge until a low gutting groan left his lips, you squeaking as he suddenly went feral and pushed the back of your head down and filled your throat up with his cum, sputtering and swallowing down as much as you could while he held you there.
âchrist iâm sorryââ he let you go and you came off of him, gasping for air and with a mix of cum and drool seeping down your chin as you fell back on your ass, your chest moving erratically as you tried to catch your breath.
kento immediately stuffed his dick back in his pants and zipped it up, standing and placing his hands on your waist as he easily picked you up off the floor and sat you down next to him on the bed, concerned tumblings over your well being falling from his mouth as he moved your disheveled hair away from your face.
âhoney i canât tell you how sorry i amâŚâ he dug into his blazer for his handkerchief, your tongue lapping up the excess drool and cum from your chin as his cheeks went red over you doing that, quickly stepping in and wiping off the rest for you.
âsorry for what ken?â you hummed, your voice a little hoarse and making kento feel guiltier as he sighed, placing the handkerchief down on your nightstand.Â
âfor abusing your throat y/nâŚâ he spoke gently, ushering you to bed again as he pulled back the covers. âi wasnât letting you breatheââ
âbut i liked it.â you countered softly, crawling to your pillow and planting a tender little kiss to his cheek on your way, settling under the covers. âi asked you to use me baby⌠and you did just that! good job!â
kento playfully rolled his eyes and brought your blankets up to your chest.Â
âyes but i couldâve done it in a better way.â
âin a better way likeeeâŚ?â you grinned cheekily. âlike sex? well then you shouldâve just asked ken i can take off myââ
you sat up and began unbuttoning your top, kentoâs hands shooting out and stopping you midway as he flusteredly buttoned it back up, you laughing.
âplease sweetheart you need to rest⌠itâs nearly six in the morning.âÂ
you groaned and plopped back down on your pillow. âjust tell the monroeâs iâm sick. iâd rather be getting dicked down by you than drinking tea with themââ
âalright okay okayââ he brought the covers back up over you with an amused shy smile. âweâll talk more about it tomorrow. at the monroeâs.â
you huffed and turned your back to him, kento chuckling before leaning over and placing a delicate lingering kiss on your temple, a slow sleepy smile crossing your face as you relished in the fact that he actually loved you⌠your fear of him seeing you as nothing more than just a spoiled brat quickly dissipating from the second he uttered his bashful but yet authentic confession to you.
you had been living in absolute worry and defiance and frustrating yourself when that wasnât necessary at allâ kento was just a gentlemen, a man, and his apprehensions for indulging in something more between the two of you were very real and valid and you understood⌠but you also didnât care, your stubborn unruly (and spoiledâŚ) personality and mind wanting nothing more than just kento.
and as long as you had him by your side, you didnât care about anything else.
even when you had only gotten a total of a solid two hours of sleep before you had to wake up for brunch with the monroeâs, you didnât care about that either, because kento was the one to wake you up with a soft hand down your back and gentle murmurs that slowly eased you awake, him delivering you a warm cup of hot chocolate for the morning because he knew you werenât the biggest fan of coffee, and the brunch itself not seeming so bad too since you knew he would be there with you through the entire thing.
your newest biggest fear now though⌠was what your father would say once you told him.Â
âare these alright for your hair miss y/n?â
you stopped applying your eyeshadow for a moment and turned your body from your bench seat, a tray of cute shiny pearled up bobby pins that you had requested a week prior sitting neat and ready for you, you looking up and smiling sweetly at your housekeeping staff.
âoh yes! these are beautiful thank you!â
she nodded. âdo you need help putting these in? or are you okay?â
âiâm okay! if anything iâll just ask kento hehe.â
she laughed softly, nodding again before placing the little tray down next to you on your vanity desk and turning to leave, passing by none other than kento on her way as he peaked through your door, giving your housekeeping staff a polite smile and allowing her to pass through first, making his way inside your bedroom once she left.
a cup of misty tea was carefully placed next to you on your desk, and you moved your eyeshadow brush away from your face again to see kento looking down at you with a kind grin, you instantly brightening up and scooching down on your seat to give him a little room to sit with you.
âyou didnât have to bring me this ken you gave me hot chocolate this morning!â
your voice was still a bit hoarse, and thatâs precisely why he brought you hot tea to begin with, sighing softly through his nose as he sat down on the other side of your bench next to you.
âitâs for your throat honey.â you continued to buff out your eyeshadow, putting your brush away upon finishing and reaching up to fiddle with your bun, taking a few strands out for a more candid look. âhow do you feel?â
âhorny.â
kento went into a coughing fit and you laughed, his reactions to your ludicrousy always being a favorite of yours as you pecked his cheek in apology.
âsorry sorryââ you wiped the gloss you got on him off of his chiseled cheek, picking up your little tea cup after and taking a sip. âi mean itâs true i want your dick inside of me butââ
âdarling.â
âokay!â you set your tea cup down, grumpily took some of your pearl bobby pins from the tray and started sticking them in your hair. âjust say you donât want to have sex with me itâs fineââ
âthat is not what iâm saying whatsoeverââ
âyou refused to have sex with me last night and youâre doing it again right now mph!ââ
he clasped a big hand over your mouth and pulled your head in, bringing his lips to your ear.
âthere is nothing more i want than to be inside of you and split your warm little cunt open.â
your eyes blew out in shock.
âso enough or you wonât get anything.â
he turned your head to make you look at him directly.
âunderstood?â
you quickly nodded and he lowered his hand, grabbing one of yours and kissing the back of it before standing and walking to the door.
âyour father wants you in the car with me in twenty minutes sweetheart. iâll wait for you there.â
you watched him click the door shut behind him and you spun your head back around to face the mirror, shakily moving some strands away and quickly fanning yourself in attempts at calming the fuck down, completely thrown off course on what you were supposed to do next in your routine as you couldnât even remember what you had just done.
because kento had a secret feral mouth that you had no idea of until nowâŚ
and you wanted to hear it again.
eventually you gathered yourself up and finished putting the rest of your bobby pin pearls in your hair, shuffling around in your room looking for your chiffon scarf and breathing out a sigh of relief once you caught sight of its pastel yellow fabric, it matching your summery dress and peeking from your bed as you snatched it and looped it around your upper arms, the fabric falling gracefully in a low curve behind you as you grabbed your clutch and made your way out the door.
you didnât know what energy to exactly expect from the car ride as you trotted down your staircase and out to his car, but you were nonetheless still surprised to see that kento carried on like he didnât just mutter in your ear that he wanted to rearrange your guts and for you to behave, you blinking at him and perplexed when he just went on about what things to pay attention to that the girls say because he knew your father would ask you about that certain topic later, not wanting you to get in trouble and an earful if you werenât able to answer his questions about it.
and you were still perplexed upon arriving at the monroeâs estateâ their place of living the only thing you really liked about the yearly brunches, as they lived in what looked like a fucking english regency palace instead of the plain modernized mansions you were accustomed to (including yoursâŚ), and you couldnât help but feel a little jealous each year of the wonderful labyrinth the monroeâs had, an endless place of history and poise that your own home very much lacked.
but as beautiful as their estate was, it still didnât make up for the absolute bitches that lived in it.
âken if you turn this car around right now i will do absolutely anything you say and not go to any parties for two months instead of just oneââ
he chuckled loudly and shook his head, rounding their grand water fountain that sat extravagantly in the center of their lawn outside, other sleek cars already parked in the front.Â
âitâs just for a couple of hours honey.â he parked the car and turned off the ignition, unbuckling his seatbelt. âjust indulge in their conversations for a while⌠and listen please. your father will ask about it later.â
kento shut the door as you unbuckled your seatbelt, him opening yours on the other side while offering a hand out for you to take, you gratefully doing so with a stoic dead look on your face as you kept your eyes locked to the grabble below.
âthey donât even like me.â you muttered, flashing a polite smile to the housekeeping staff that was waiting up ahead, walking up the steps. âthe monroeâs and their girl friends donât even like each other theyâre all just a bunch of fakeââ
ây/n!â
both of your heads shot up just as you entered the estate, the eldest of the monroe sisters trodding up to you with a smile.
âitâs good to see you!â her eyes shifted to kento. âand with nanami. of course.â
bitch.
âmhm! yup!â you exchanged polite hugs and stepped back. âare the rest of the girls here?â
âyes they just got here actually! theyâre all out in the garden with my sisters i was just heading there now!â
âgreat! iâll see myself then, you go on ahead.â you tightly smiled, and she shrugged, bidding you a âsee you laterâ before disappearing off into the depths of her home, you slowly turning around with a stressed out twitch in your eye but faltering when kento wasnât behind you like you thought he was.
you spun around as your tried to look for him, gaze scanning the area to find him and stopping once you did, your brows furrowing in confusion upon seeing him at the other side of the corridor staring at something.
you slowly began walking down, eyes locked on what he was looking at and it making you stop in your tracks next to him once you got close enough to see.
the wall in front of you was littered with wedding photos of the monroe sisters parents and the generations beforeâ the ceremony, cake cutting, pictures of their first dance, and singular portraits of various brides and grooms on their wedding days scattered about with smiles on their faces, all things kento was just staring at without any indication in his expression that could let you know as to what was going on in his head.
âken?â you asked softly, and he looked to you.
âoh iâm sorry.â he glanced at his watch. âare you ready to head out into the garden?â
âyâyeahâŚâ your eyes switched back to the wall ahead.
âyou were looking at their wedding photos?â you smiled. âtheyâre cute huh? i look at them too every time we come.â
he nodded, placing a hand on your lower back to lead you away from the wall and towards the garden again.Â
âi was only curious.â he spoke. âthereâs an awful large amount of them.â
you snorted in agreement and continued walking, feeling like there was something he was thinking about and not telling youâ you looking to the garden entrance ahead then deciding to take a peek at kento again through the corner of your eye, you suddenly finding him looking over his shoulder at the portraits still.
and your eyes softened.
you slowed down and reached up, gently turning his head from the portraits to you.
âwhatâs wrong ken?â you looked over at the wall and back to him. âwhy do you keep looking at the pictures?â
âohâ i didnât realize.â he readjusted his yellow lensed sunglasses and continued ushering you on with a hand on your back.Â
you frowned.
âken you wouldnât look at something for that long without any reasoning behind itâŚâ
âitâs truly nothing.â he responded simply, the both of you entering the garden now and drawing nearer to the long table set up amidst a bed of roses and daisies, the rest of the girls beginning to take their seats. âenjoy your brunch darling.â
âno! butââ
âitâs alright go say helloââ
âiâd rather actually rotââ
âhello y/n!â
you stopped fidgeting and dropped your arms, another tight smile on your face as you greeted the youngest monroe sister from the table, deciding to ignore kentoâs chuckling from behind you and walk up, taking a seat with the rest of them and looking over the extravagantly set up table for anything to stuff your face withâ it filled with little pastries and appetizers from top to bottom, a pretty strawberry shortcake cake in the middle surrounded by a tier of cupcakes and scones, little baked sandwich platters, and a porcelain tea cup set at each of your designated seats to enjoy.
you lightened up a little over all of the cute details and selections, forgetting that the monroeâs always knew how to put on a lovely brunch for all of you every year as you extended an arm, grabbing the nearest tea pot and carefully pouring the steaming liquid in your cup.
âgirls! just the other day my father bought me another set of those diamond jewels from the franziskaâs!â
thatâs why youâd always forget.
the rest of them gushed and looked around the table to the eldest monroe, her neck clad in a pretty diamond necklace with matching earrings and rings.
âi know right? i had lost my previous set while swimming in the lake and my staff couldnât find them.â
âoh that happened to me once.â one of their girlfriends piped up. âit was an exclusive emerald set from europe⌠only one in the entire world made!â
the rest of the girls gasped and murmured.
âi had my staff looking in the lake all day and night for three days until one of them finally found it!â
âoh thank god!â the middle monroe sister breathed out. âi wouldâve absolutely hated to lose those! especially since theyâre a one of a kind!â
âmhm yup! and you know what else actually? just the other day i found out francisâ you know the girl from the faltis family?â
the girls faces turned knowing and they eagerly nodded.
âi found out she was asking up and down various jewelry shops and makers for my emerald set!â
they all gasped.
âyouâre kidding!â
âno! the girl either wanted to copy me or make the same exact set to still copy me.â
âoh! that sleazyââ
you completely tuned them out beyond this point, your brain literally pulsing with the stupidest shit you had ever come across to hearing in your life, choosing to sit there and enjoy the weather and pretty cherry blossoms around you as you ate a cranberry scone and thought about the things you wanted to do for the weekend.
itâs not like you were a total opposite from the rest of the girls.
you too liked jewels and pretty things, luxury branded vehicles and a little bit of gossip here and there.
but it was the way they talked about it and handled each thing was what aggravated you the most.
they were ungrateful, greedy, and bitchyâ no other girl that was a loose connection from them allowed to have the same jewelry set as theirs, the same set of friends as theirs, or the same set of dresses for your monthly bashes and dinner parties as theirs, turning utterly nasty if they so even got a glance of someone else having the same thing as them.
all things that were pointless and unrighteous to be upset about.
and just for the sake of keeping your father from putting your head on a stick, you remained civil with them and refrained from wearing anything similar to theirs at an event if you knew they would be in attendance.
but it was easy, for your taste was completely different than the lot of them, and you preferred pearls anyway over any kind of diamond or emerald or sapphire jewel piece.
âoh! and you know what i heard?â another girl friend spoke up. âakio from the corvus family has a little crush on miss y/n over there!â
kentoâs ears perked up.
you jumped upon hearing your name, the rest of the girls gushing and âooingâ as they turned their attention to you.
âiâm sorry what? who?â
âakio!â she laughed. âthat man is obsessed with you! he asks for you at every single gathering.â
akio?Â
akio⌠akioâŚ
âthe one that looks like a toad?â
the girls laughed at your comment, covering their mouths or learning forward as you just blinked at them, unaware of how what you said was so funny.
âoh youâre too much!â the youngest monroe waved you off. âyes him! any time he sees any of us at an event he always asks if youâre there with us.â
âyou know what yes!â the eldest exclaimed. âi heard he wanted to strike up a proposal with your father! i think he already did!â
you dropped the cupcake you were holding.
and kento froze.
âaâ aâ propoââ
âoh my god congratulations y/n!â
âlucky you!â
âoh a bride already!ââ
you turned in your seat to look at kento, but he was looking the other way, an unreadable expression on his face.
you turned back to the girls.
âis this a rumor or itâs actually happening?â you asked. âi donât want to get married to him!â
they laughed again.
âwhy not?! yes heâs ugly but that man is loaded. has money to last him and you entirely without having to work a day in your lives!â
your blood ran cold, because anything you knew that was ordered by your father, was bible.
a housekeeping kitchen staff came around then and refilled a few platters of pastries and appetizers.
âahh youâre so fortunate y/n!â one of the girl friends gushed. âiâd love to be wed to a man with money like akio⌠i could care less what he looks like!â
âyou can have him.â you quickly sputtered, and they laughed again. âno seriously i donât want him take him pleaseââ
âoh donât be silly!â the youngest monroe sister waved you off. âakio wants you. heâs kind of creepy about it too.â
âwhy me?!â you whined. âiâve only spoken to him a handful of timesââ
âwhy donât you ask him at the dinner party youâre hosting next week? iâm pretty sure heâs going!â another girl friend spoke up. âi have a feeling heâs gonna propose to you there.â
you propped your elbow up on the table and placed a hand on your forehead in misery, feeling like you were living in a total nightmare.
âiâd honestly rather go broke.â
they all burst out laughing again.
what the hell was so funny?
âyouâre too much!â the middle monroe sister gasped. âjust give him a chance! once you see all the things he can buy for you, youâll change your mind. plus⌠i think itâd be nice to have a break from mr. nanami donât you think?â
you picked your head up.
ââŚkento?â
âuh huh!â the eldest continued. âgod that must be exhausting having him around watching over you like that⌠itâs like heâs babysitting you. must be tiresome for him too.â
babysitting?
âwith you and akioâs marriage iâm sure heâll dismiss nanamiâs services, and you can go your separate ways finally!â
âbutââ
âand mr. nanami sure is handsome too.â another girl piped up with a hushed voice. âheâll find a rich girl to settle down with in no timeââ
âoh thatâd be so great!ââ
you abruptly stood, the silverware and tea cups clattering as you did so, the rest of them falling silent.
âsorry. excuse me.â you mumbled, eyes casted downward as you moved around your chair and off to the side, the girls shrugging and uncaring as they proceeded to babble on about other nonsense as you walked ahead, further and further away from the table and the chattering and through the garden, passing by several other flower beds of orchards and sunflowers until you reached the little duck pond by the end of the garden.
you stopped and sighed, bitterly crossing your arms and damning your father for ever discussing something as serious as marriage without your consent, marrying you off basically, or even lacking giving you a god damn warning before you came to brunch todayâ you and your father both knowing how much of a blabber mouth all of the girls were and how much they fed off of gossip like that.
you felt like a fucking idiot.
and who the hell was akio exactly? you knew of him and kind of had an idea of what he looked like, but you never really paid attention whenever he came up to talk to you at events or parties, his face almost entirely blurry in your mind besides the obvious features he had that did in fact make him look like a damn toad.
and another thing that was obvious too, was how creepy he was.
the only thing the monroeâs shit talking got right.
âhoney?â
you didnât need to turn around to know who it was.
âhi ken.â
the rustling of grass filled the otherwise peaceful ambience as he stepped beside you, the both of you looking out ahead over the sparkling duck pond.
âare you alright?â
you nodded.
âi know youâre not alright i can see it.â he readjusted his lenses. âiâm assuming it has to do with the information the monroeâs told you?â
âiâm being married off ken.â you mumbled, eyes switching to him. âhow are you so calm about this?â
âoh iâm not.â he spoke simply. âiâm quite agitated actually.â
you faltered, eyes falling down.
âiâve always respected your father ever since we were young. and every choice he made with you i always agreed that it was what was best for you.â
you listened.
âbut i canâtââ he paused. â⌠i canât see how this is best for you. and i donât know if itâs because i love you and iâm being selfish or if it actually is whatâs best for you⌠so my thinking isâ adhered.â
âhow can marrying me off like the fucking renaissance period be whatâs best for me?â you muttered, and he chuckled softly.
âand i love you, kento.â you continued. âmy thinkingâs also messed up.â
he placed a hand on your lower back and gently nudged you to him, you complying and falling into his side, wrapping your arms around him.
âitâs your choice y/n.â he spoke softly. âi know akio isnât⌠the greatest. but heâs qualified to be your husband.â
your eyes widened.
âwhat are you saying? what aboutâ what about you?â
he looked down, a sad smile on his face.
âiâll stay for as long as you need me sweetheart.â
the ducks fluttering wings from the pond ahead filled the silence, tranquil splashes of water that followed after their every move with little quacks and hoots.
âso youâre just gonna give me away.â you mumbled. âjust like that. easy peasy. who caresââ
ânoââ
âi want you to be my husband ken.â
he gave you a deadpanned look.
âdarling donât joke about things like thatââ
âoh iâm not joking.â you separated from him, frustration swirling in your chest. âwhy is it always considered a joke to you when i talk about being with you?â
he paused, sighing a little through his nose.
âi feel incredibly lucky that a woman like you could envision a life with me.â he spoke. âbut iâm also aware that iâm very⌠boring. iâd feel it wrong to tie you down to a life without excitement like the one you live now.â
kento slipped an arm around your waist and brought you back in again.
âakio seems to be more like you⌠maybe you could learn to get along.â
your lip began to wobble, and kentoâs eyes softened.Â
âsweetheaââ
âi donât care about any of that stuff.â you sniffled, wiping your cheeks. âyou of all people should know thisââ
âdonât cry please youâll ruin your hard workââ
kento dug into his blazer and pulled out a little handkerchief, carefully patting down your face.
âyes i like to go out a lot but so what? itâs not something thatâs a part of me itâs just something i like to do.â
you took the handkerchief from him and pressed it into the corner of your eye.Â
âyouâre a part of me ken⌠and i want a life with you, iâve known since i was freaking sixteen. i donât need it spelled out for me.â
kento swallowed.
heâd always admired how stubborn you were, because to him it meant a strong mind and an ambitious drive in contrast to the negative connotation that that word seemed to haveâ things that were absolutely who you were and why he fell in love with you in the first place, and why you were such a gem.
but he worried still that youâd regret it and change your mind.
that he wouldnât be able to live up to your lifestyle and your wants and needs, and that youâd get bored of him⌠leaving in the end.
kento doesnât think he could bare the thought of you leaving him, much like how he couldnât bare the thought of you marrying akio either.
but if it meant what was best for you, then so be it⌠except it wasnât.Â
he was sure of it.
âyouâre a part of me as well.â he murmured. âiâm sure you know thatââ
âi donât.â you grumbled, and he chuckled. âyouâre always switching up on me with your rejections and then your confessions iâm confusedââ
kento silenced you with a kiss to your lips, his big hands on either sides of your face as your eyes fluttered closed and you leaned into his built frame, your arms snaking around his neck and his bringing you closer by the waist as you tenderly deepened the kissâ soft lips smacking and moving with such love that it almost made you cry again.
âiâm sorry.â he pulled back, whispering against your lips. âitâs completely unfair to youââ
âsâokay ken.â you whispered back, the cutest smile he had even seen in his life on your face. âiâll forgive you if you keep kissing me.â
âdeal.â
your lips mushed up against each others once more, kento breathing you in and relishing in the feeling of your body pressed up against his, his hands slowly roaming around from your waist to your sidesâ still trying to be respectful of his hand placement until you took one of them and lowered it to your ass cheek with a squeeze, him laughing against your lips.
you were so silly.
silly and bright and spontaneous and beautiful, today another reminder from countless others with your frilly pastel yellow sundress and the pearls in your hair, your entity different from the rest of the women heâd come to know and thankful that he was lucky enough to have grown with you.
to have protected you.Â
and the both of you were relieved to see that the monroe sisters and their girl friends didnât seem to care where you two had ventured off to, for you didnât know how long you were gone either as you approached the table againâ the dessert piles, scones, and strawberry shortcake cake nearly nonexistent, you taking a seat again and secretly reapplying your lipgloss since kento had basically sucked it off of your face, your cheeks pinky and the butterflies in your stomach running rampant.
you were glad then that the monroeâs and their minions were such dim witted bitches too, because their level of self-absorption inhibited them from knowing or picking up on any clues of what could have transpired between you and kento in the garden, them immediately going to you upon arrival and chatting up a storm about mindless things again like you had never left the table to begin with.
but all you could think about was what you were going to tell you father about akio.
and you didnât want to think about it honestly⌠because you knew there was a strong chance of you getting literally violent and landing yourself in deeper shit with him than ever before.
that didnât matter either though if it meant being with kento⌠and for real this time. the thought of simply just him giving you the push that you needed to trudge up your grand staircase once you got home from brunch, kento trailing behind you and pleading with you to take a little breather before going in to speak with your father, but you absolutely done over the situation seeing as he only ever saw you as a thing and not his daughter if he was willing to marry you off like that.
âmy love please relaxââ
you stopped in front of your fathers study and knocked curtly, ignoring kentoâs words.
âcome in.â
you pushed down the handle and walked through, kento following close behind you and clicking the door closed as you stepped to the front of your fathers desk, your arms crossed.
âah y/n. nanami.â he looked up from his documents, eyes switching between the two of you. âhow was brunch with the monroeâs?â
âgood.â you replied.
âwas the food selection still as grandiose as always?â he looked back down at his paperwork.
âmhm.â you crossed your arms. âthey had strawberry shortcake cake this year.â
he hummed. âthe monroeâs always know how to put on a good event donât they? for their daughters? and how are they by the wââ
âtheyâre fine.â you cut him off sharply. âbut you know what isnât fine?â
he eyed you.
âwhat?â
âthat youâre marrying me off to akioââ
he sighed loudly and placed his documents flat on his desk, leaning forward and wringing his hands together to rest on the surface.
âheâs a good prospect.â he began. âhe came up to me with some very impressive ideas about the future of my business, and also how much he was interested in you.â
you scoffed. âso this is what the arrangement is about? your business?â
âi thought you would be happy about this?â he extended his hands out lazily. âakio comes from a wealthy background. youâll be taken care of in whatever you need and heâs qualified to take over my business once the time comesââ
hurt flashed across your face.
âwhy would you consider akio taking over your business and not your daughter?â
he laughed humorously, shuffling some papers about mindlessly on his desk.
ây/n you canât possibly think that iâd consider you to take leadership over my business.â
âand why the hell not?â
his eyes narrowed.
âbecause youâre incompetent.â he spoke harshly. âyou donât know the meaning of responsibility, youâre stubborn, youâre spoiled, and all that you concern yourself with is parties and outings. you think i would allow you anywhere near my business?â
with each insult and jab that was thrown in your face, the blurrier and blurrier your vision got, you desperately trying to blink your tears back and put on a brave front, but finding it difficult when it was your own father that was dumbing you down to nothing.
âyouâre not ready for anything like this and i donât think you will ever be.â he stood up from his chair. âiâm thinking of whatâs good for you and youâre being ungrateful yet again with your complaintsââ
âsir with all due respect please try to see where sheâs coming from.â kento interjected. âiâm sure she has the future of your business in her best interests, but marrying her off to someone she doesnât know very well is upsetting herââ
âsheâs never had any interest in the state of my business son you and i both know thatââ
âsir sheâs an extremely capable woman and independent i assure you her contribution to the business would serve prosperityââ
your father scoffed. âthere is no prosperity with her. all she brings is disorder and foolery and i appreciate you trying to vouch for her butââ
âplease if youâd just give her a chanceââ
âiâd give you more of a chance over herââ
âthen give the company to kento!â you yelled, the both of them snapping their heads to you and kentoâs eyes widening. âi could care less what you think of me everything you told me isnât new fucking informationââ
âyoung lady languageââ
ââiâm not here to try and convince you to give me the business thatâs not what iâm here for.â you spat. âbut donât you dare stand there and say that iâve never cared about the state of it when thatâs bullshit.â
kento placed a hand on your shoulder and you shook it off.
âgive the company to kento.â you repeated firmly. âif you give it to akio heâll run your business to the ground and you know that.â
âand how would you know he isnât qualifiedââ
âare you kidding?â you shook your head incredulously. âakio is a little dumb boy who goes to his daddy for help any chance he gets because he canât do anything for himself. he puts on a show about how heâs this mature experienced man when heâs nothing but a joke.â
âi thought you said you barely knew him?â your father asked. âwhere is this information coming from?â
âthe monroe sisters.â you spat. âtheyâre blabbermouths and their opinions are garbage, but their gossip is always truthful.â
itâs how you found out about the arranged proposal after all.
âiâm stubborn, iâm spoiled, iâm too stupid to handle anything for myself iâm helplessâ fine. whatever you say but him?ââ
you pointed to kento.
âheâs the most qualified for this position and you and i both know that.â
ây/n noââ kento tried to interject again, but you cut him off.
âheâs seen you handle the business since he was fourteen and knows it inside and out and just as much as you do. any task youâve ever given him heâs gotten it done and more and i assure you that the business will flourish if you give it to him.â
you stepped forward, your father standing there with a neutral expression.
âbelieve it or not i care about what you worked so hard for to create, and i care about you, and regardless of what you think of me and the fact that youâve shown me the complete opposite, itâd kill me to see akio ruin all of it.â
you wiped your cheeks and continued as you turned around, making your way to the other side of your fatherâs study.Â
âkentoâs a good man. everything will be in good hands with him.â
you threw open the door and stomped out.
âand iâm not marrying akio!ââ
ây/n return at onceââ
âsir i advise you toââ
your father and kentoâs words drowned out the further down the hallway you got, tears spilling from your eyes now that you were away from it all as your heels hastily clicked against the shiny marble flooring, quiet sobs racking through your body.
you spouting repeatedly how you didnât care what your father thought about you was a complete lie.
because you very much did care⌠you always have. and no matter how hard you tried to prove to him that you were capable of more than just parties and brunches and pearls and pretty dresses and shoes and cars, it was never enough.Â
you were never enough.
ây/nââ
kento distantly burst out from your fatherâs study and quickly strode up to you, concern etched all over his face as you shook off your chiffon scarf and chucked it somewhere behind you in frustration.Â
âmy darlingââ kento picked up the long piece of fabric and continued on after you. âmy darling iâm so sorryââ
âi need to be alone ken.â you sobbed. âiâm sorry too i just need to be aloneââ
âi refuse to leaveââ
you slammed your bedroom door shut and kento picked up the pace, his eyes big in alarm at the sound of tumbling and thudding in your room as he stopped in front of your door, swinging it open to reveal you on the other side throwing your heels across the room along with several other pairs and things, your pretty pearls and jewels flying as he stood there in shock.
kento caught sight of you picking up your favorite porcelain flower vase amidst your rage to throw, him quickly stepping in and snatching it from you and fighting your thrashing as he held you to himself.
âkento stop it!ââ
he placed the vase safely on your vanity desk and spun you around, his arms grabbing your shoulders tightly as he bent down to your level.
âsweetheart breathe pleaseââÂ
he hurriedly snagged off his cream colored blazer and tossed it off to the side, leaving him in his blue button up and suspenders as he rolled up his sleeves and placed his hands back on your shoulders.
âheyâ itâs alright.â his hazel eyes frantically darted over every corner of your face, him snatching off his lenses now and tossing them. âitâs alright breathe for me y/n pleaseââ
you could only sob, your mascara stained cheeks and heartbroken expression crumbling and ripping kento to pieces as he looked at you, his hands coming up to cup and caress your wet face.
âeverything he said was the farthest thing from the truth donât let it upset you like thisââ
âno but heâs right heâs right!â you sobbed. âiâm useless i canât do shit for myself and iâd probably be off somewhere dead in a ditch if it wasnât for youââ
âdo not say things like thatââ
âkento you canât be with me.â
he faltered. âiâm sorry?â
âyou canât be with me itâs embarrassing to be with me youâre better off with someone whoâs capable and responsible like you i just bring you downââ
âstop that iâm serious i wonât ask againââ
âno kento youâre not listening!â you cried, your shoulders violently shaking. âyouâre a good man. youâre such a good man and youâre way too good for me and i donât deserve to be with you you canât keep babysitting me like thisââ
âhow could you ever possibly say these things about yourself?â he shook his head. âhow could you ever say that youâre too good for me when itâs the other way around?â
your eyes narrowed.
âno itâs not donât give me thatââ
âyour father is full of shit.â
your mouth snapped shut.
kento never badmouthed your father no matter what it was, and he also never cussed so forceful and purposeful no matter the situation.
âheâs always been too hard on you and too stoic for reasons that i will never understand nor ever agree with.â
he leaned closer.
âdo not upset yourself over the things he said any longer and do not worry about your marriage arrangement with akio.â
âkenââ
âdo not think about the pearls you just threw over your balcony do not worry about anythingâ i will take care of it.â
âiââ
âi love you and i will take care of it.â
you continued to cry, letting your body slump wholly against his as he caught you and held you tight.
âplease.. i beg you darling to believe me when i say that you are the most capable woman i know.â he spoke against your ear, his chest aching over your soft sobbing. âyouâre witty and youâre intelligent and youâve come so far simply because of who you are and the way you carry yourself. itâs a shame your father canât see that.â
âno one can see thatââ
âi can see it. everybody else can see it too and iâve been around you all my life to testify for it.âÂ
you sniffled, burying your face in his neck.
âbelieve me my loveâŚâ he ran a soothing hand down your back. âyouâre everything. youâre an asset. donât let your fatherâs words take that away.â
you sniffled a little, standing there silent as your hiccups and sobs settled down gradually, your heart beating prominently against your ribs at kentoâs sweet murmurings and affection, because though your fathers actions and decisions were bible, so were kentoâs words.
he was a good man.
âthank you.â you mumbled, and he nodded, gently guiding you to your bed to sit.
âiâll take care of you sweetheart.â he pulled back and placed a soft kiss to your lips. âi promise you.â
you smiled a little, a small warm gleam in your eyes as you sniffed and nodded.
âokay ken.â
words didnât need to be said between the two of you to know the unconditional love you both had for each other, one that was born and bred and made a fact upon your lives crossing paths through fated connections, and strengthened from the day kento decided to be your bodyguard and protect you with everything that he had.
and words didnât need to be said between the two of you as you both fell in each otherâs soft embraces either, kissing with lingering hands and bated breaths as kento delicately laid you back on your bed after a moment of soft chattering, him making sure you were okay, and scattering hungry open mouthed kisses on your jaw and neck and your body language alone with your needy whines enough of an indicator to him that you needed all of him, just as much as he needed all of you, his calloused hands undressing you and worshipping your bare body and everything that you were.
skin to skin contact that was hot to the touch, your arms that barely reached around his broad built shoulders trembling as kento made love to you that night, foreheads resting against each others as he pumped slowly and intimately in and out from inside you, your gasps catching themselves in your throat and him moaning with every thrust and snap of his hips that sent you down a ditzy fucked out road that you never wanted to back track from.
and kento treated you like a delicate little pearl all while at the same time desperately marking and bruising you up with hickeys and bites, afraid from the start that he would accidentally cross the line and hurt you due to his size, but you reassuring him with your perfect smile and pretty face while whispering sweet nothings in his ear as he filled you full, him swallowing you whole and man handling you so much to the point where he had to have you biting down on his tie to keep you quiet while he fucked you senseless.
everything about it was meaningful and cherished and nothing like youâd ever experienced before in your lifeâ a night you wanted to remember for as long as you lived and prayed that you got to repeat over and over againâŚÂ with him.
with kento and kento only.
he was the only man capable of simmering down your tears and making you feel so much better about a situation as horrid as the one that transpired, and he was the only man that was capable of getting you to listen when you didnât want to, an incredible talent in itself that spoke volumes in how much of a gentle and kind and reliable person he was⌠and you only hoped that you provided him with things of the same caliber.
and the thought of that only amplified upon you waking up to find that kento wasnât next to you in your bed the next morning⌠when you clearly remembered falling asleep in his big arms the night before.
you slowly sat up, one tired eye peeking over at the vacant spot next you and around the room, finding nothing and honestly feeling a little down about his disappearance as you groggily got out of bed.
maybe he went to eat breakfast? or get a cup of coffee?
you continued on anyways with your morning and freshened up for the day, your legs nearly giving out and sore in the shower due to the pounding he gave youâ skin tender and purple under the running water and you loving every mark, shrugging and getting ready quicker than normal so you could finally see kento downstairs to share a little smooch or two with him.
you zoomed through styling your hair and doing your makeup before spritzing a bit of perfume, not bothering to locate your phone before you opened the door to your bedroom and stepped out, bidding your usual good mornings to your housekeeping staff as you skipped down the grand staircase and over to the kitchen, a place he was usually at if not already with you in your room.
but he wasnât there.
and you frowned.
where was he?
you spent a total of thirty minutes looking for kentoâ practically turning your mansion upside down and even sticking your head in rooms you had never stepped foot in before, your mind fucking confused and worried that you couldnât locate him anywhere and that your staff didnât even know where he was when you asked, for him doing something like this was completely unheard of.
upon going back upstairs, you speedily walked past your fathers study and stopped.
could he be in there
but your father was for sure in there, and you couldnât stand the thought of speaking or even looking at him at the moment without fury clouding your judgement again.
but kento could be in thereâŚ
you took a deep breath and walked back to your fathers door, hesitantly knocking gently.
âcome in.â
you pushed the door open and stepped in, closing it behind you before turning around and shoulders slumping when you didnât spot him in here either.
dammit.
âgood morning.â your father spoke. âwhat can i do for you? itâs rather early for you to be stopping by.â
âoh yeah sorry i justââ you played with the ends of your hair. âi was just looking for kento⌠i thought he mightâve been in here.â
he shook his head.
âheâs not. he left.â
you froze.
âheâ what?â
âhe left.â you father repeated. ânanami stepped down from the position of being your bodyguard earlier today. he left a couple of hours ago.â
what the fuck?
âi donâtââ you tightly gripped the table next to you, balancing yourself. âi donât understandââ
âyouâll be assigned a new bodyguard within the next coming weekââ
âdid he say why?â you breathed out. âdid he say anything at all?â
your fathers eyes scanned you.
âamongst various other things, he said he simply couldnât fulfill that position anymore.â
âdid you fire him?!â
he scoffed. âdonât be ridiculous y/n i would never do something like that to nanami. i tried to get him to reconsider.â
holy fucking shit.
kento quit? kento left? kento left you?
it didnât make any sense. nothing about it made sense to you thisâ this wasnât like him at allâ
âlike i said youâll be assigned a new bodyguard soon i just need to finalize nanamiâs paperworkââ
you swung open the door and ran out, your eyes already filling with tears as you pushed through your housekeeping staff and ignored their beckoning and calls, you bursting through your room and throwing everything around to try and find your phone through your heaving and panic.
why did he leave you? was it something you did?
did he finally realize you were nothing but a useless spoiled girl?
you hurriedly wiped your eyes and kept looking, transitioning from your bed over to your vanity desk and knocking over everything to try and find your stupid phone to call him, some of your expensive bottle of perfumes clattering and spilling and you not giving a rats ass about it as your tears increased in intensity, about to run out of your room and get in your car to literally drive around your fucking city to look for him until you snapped your head up.
a small yellow sticky note sat stuck to your mirror.Â
you stopped, dropping the items you were holding and stepping closerâ pulling the note from its position and bringing it in.
iâll be in the garden waiting for you when you wake up.
kento.
you hiccuped and wiped your eyes again, kicking the clothes you had thrown about in search for your phone (that you still couldnât find) as you hurriedly left your room and trudged down the hall, confusion and hurt suffocating your head over the information you had just learned about him and his leave, you reaching the bottom of your staircase and rounding through various hallways and lounge areas to get to the entry way of your little garden, one that wasnât exaggeratingly massive like the monroeâs, but one that was a great size and that you loved with everything in youâ various flowers and herbs planted by yours truly as you periodically took care of them from time to time.
and sure enough, as promised, kento was standing at the end of your garden, his back turned to you as he overlooked the acres of land your father owned that stretched beyond the premises of your rosey labyrinth, him dressed in a casual yet dressy tight long sleeve sweater and dress pantsâ a sight you werenât used to seeing at all as you always saw him in a full blown suit everyday without fail.
kento heard the soft rustling of grass and he slightly turned, a soft smile stretching across his chiseled face until he caught sight of your tear stained cheeks and pissed off expression, his face dropping and brows pinching.
âhoney whatâs wrong?â he walked over to you and you glared. âwhy are you looking at me like that?â
âyou quit.â you muttered, already annoyingly feeling your waterworks trigger again. âmy father said you gave up your bodyguard position.â
âoh.â his shoulders relaxed, and his nonchalance only further pissed you off. âi did my love yesââ
âwhy.â you pushed. âwhy are you leaving i donâtâ i donât get it did i do something wrong? iââ
âwhat?â he shook his head and took your hands in his. âno dear god no you didnât do anything.â
âthen why are you leaving?â you sniffed, and kento wiped a stray tear from your cheek with his thumb.
âi told your father i love you.â
you stiffened.
âhe wasnât very pleased.â he continued. âi figured he wouldnât be⌠but he didnât make me step down from my position darling, i chose to do that.â
you blinked confusedly.
âbut why?â
âi donât want to be paid for something that i was born to do as your man.â he smiled warmly. âit didnât feel right to me⌠and i donât want to be labeled as that anymore either.â
he wiped away your remaining tears.
âi want to only be known as yours now. not your bodyguard or anything else in between.â
you were left speechless, unmoving and rigid at everything he was saying.
âhowever⌠your father did make me choose between you and the business.â
your brows furrowed, taken aback.
âtheâ the business?ââ
kento nodded, a content smile still on his face.
âhe was impressed by what you said yesterday sweetheart.âÂ
you scoffed. âwhat that his words were bullshit and that he doesnât care about meââ
he laughed, little crinkles in the corners of his eyes as he shook his head.
âhe was satisfied to see that you werenât angry about not getting the company for yourself, but because he was going to give it away to someone who wasnât qualified to maintain it.âÂ
you pursed your lips.
âhe was offering it to me in exchange for letting you go. i refused immediately.â
your eyes shot up.
âkento no iâ fuckââ you looked around exasperatedly. âthis is your dream! this is everything youâve ever wanted i feel horrible for taking that away i donâtââ
âsweetheart donât be stupid.â he chuckled. âi thought i made it clear enough that youâre everything iâve ever wanted⌠not some business. i donât need any of that. just you.â
your eyes softened.
âare you sad at all?â
he shook his head and gently kissed your forehead.
âiâm the happiest iâve ever been y/n.â
and that was the truest of truths.
kento was truly and incandescently happy, no longer tied down and restrained by his inner monologues of former idiotic confusion, or jugglings of what was best for you and whether you should be with him or not no longer standing in the way either as he finally welcomed the fact that yesâ a woman as gracious and lively and stunning as you could indeed love a simple man like him, an absolute privilege and honor to have someone as special as you want a life with him in it that he just couldnât understand how his feelings were ever considered confusing to start with.
for him thinking of nothing but you and his occupation as your protector and your guide, a job that he saw himself doing beside you until his very dying day, was all simply a mask of him thinking out the rest of his life with you in the form of work.
and it was so clear that he loved you. so much.
how could he not? how could the way he stared at the monroeâs generational wedding portraits and photographs, swapping their faces out with his and yours, and his constant weighings of âif she was mineâ and âdoes she actually feel the same wayâ from before not already give away enough that he loved you?
but it was even clearer now, with him giving up the opportunity to build and nourish a reputable business like heâd always aspired to do, turning it down without so much as a blink because he wanted you and you only, not feeling an ounce of regret in his body and knowing that he never will.
kento was looking forward to spending the rest of his days with the woman that heâd always envisioned it withâ the forbidden heavenly fruit that he had deemed impossible to reach and wrong to even try, him unknowing of the fact that that same glistening fruit sat dangling and waiting as it would only ever let itself be harvested and picked by himâŚÂ for kento was the one who planted and had been nurturing it for as long as it could remember.
planted it⌠nurtured it⌠kept it safe.
kept you safe.
and funnily enough, another individual was also looking forward to seeing your life with kento unfoldâŚÂ your fatherâ curious to see how exactly two opposites became compatible, and when it was that the two of you fell in love as it managed to wholeheartedly slip past his radar completely when most things didnât.
had he really been this absent in your life?
⌠though regardless if he was or wasnât, it was too late to dwell on it now, seeing as you were a grown woman and capable and your father was grateful that you at least had a companion with you through the many days he wasnât, and an honorable man such as kentoâ taking care of you and guiding you through every step of your life when he didnât even need to be asked, his willingness to do it and overlooking your reckless habits reading numbers to your father.
and even more so now as he leaned against his studies stone balcony ledge from above, it overlooking the entirety of your garden plus the acres of land he owned during the annual dinner party he put on for the business, kento sitting peacefully on a lawn chair with you in his lap while drinking glasses of sparkling champagne, soft echoing laughs and giggles heard from below as you enjoyed each others company away from the bustling crowds and nosy relatives.
it was a pleasing sight, to say the least.
and it was exactly why your father was going to give his business to kento when the time came, because when given the choice between gluttony and love, kento chose love.
he chose you.
âiâm thinking of planting tiger lilies soon.â you hummed, your head resting on kentoâs shoulder as he delicately ran a hand down your back, sipping his champagne. âitâs almost their season⌠right?â
âi believe so, yes.â he nodded. âi think thatâs a great idea.â
âthanks!â you cheesed, running the tip of your index finger absentmindedly over the rim of your glass. âwill you help me? i need your big manly arms to carry the soil out from the flower shop tomorrow hehe.â
he chuckled, tracing his fingers gingerly over your upper arm. âiâll pick it up for you in the morning sweetheart. donât concern yourself with it.â
you smiled to yourself, cheeks warm as you pressed a kiss to his cheek in gratitude.
âi am concerned about something else thoughâŚâ
his brows pinched, lowering the glass from his lips and looking at you in concern.
âwhat is it?â
âwhen weâre gonna pick our wedding dateââ
kento laughed boastfully and shook his head, setting down his champagne glass on the little table next to him and settling his hand over your thigh, the material of your classy black dress smooth under his touch.
âyou asked me this just last night my love.â
âokay so?â you grinned. âyou donât want me to be your precious wife? the birth giver of your offspring?ââ
âi never said thatââ
âbecause i could yâknow.â you caressed his jaw with your thumb. âi could be your wife and be the mother of your children⌠isnât that what you want?â
with all of his heart.
âitâs what i want at least.â you pouted, and kento smiled handsomely, the vision of you soaked in the rays of the setting sun before him a lethal one as he felt his heart rattle against his chest.
âme promising to take care of you has marriage included above all else my love.â he spoke gently. âyou will be my bride someday, i assure you.â
you stared at him warmly, your cheek falling to rest against his as you placed your hand on his chest and over his white crisp button up.
âi also assure you that youâll continue to be happy and protected, alright?â he squeezed your thigh. âjust because iâm not your bodyguard anymore doesnât mean my duties are done with.â
you nodded against him, the slight prickling cold wind brushing against your skin as the stunning sun continued to set.
âyouâre a good man, ken.â you murmured. âand i love you.â
and that was another truest of truths.
because as he reiterated that same three worded phrase back to you and held you closer to his built frame, grabbing his blazer from the arm rest and draping it over your goose bumped filled shoulders, and with a tender kiss to your lips?
it was obvious that kento nanami was born and raised to be just that.
a good man.

Being nanamiâs housewife this, being nanamiâs trophy wife that. How about nanami being your househusband.
It starts with him admitting that he is unhappy with being a sorcerer anymore. That all it brings him is stress and sadness. That he doesnât like the unstabiliy, the exploitation, the short life expectancy. You being his loving wife jumped at the opportunity to have him retire and stay at home. It took a lot of convincing of course, be it from his mindset, that he has to be the provider as the man, bringing him shame or from his worry that a one income household will be difficult to obtain. Letâs just say that you are a very good debater and leave it at that.
Househusband nanami! Who wakes up way before you even consider getting ready for the day. Some habits are very hard to shake. He gets up from the bed, careful to not wake you, God knows you need the rest. He goes about his routine, doing some meditation to help him relax and be prepared for the day, then sets up to make you breakfast just the way you like it.
Househusband nanami! Who makes you very artful bentos, itâs a new recipe, he was given it from the old neighbour lady he helped with the groceries, they have tea together in the afternoon. Your co-workers are absolutely jealous over the lunchâs he makes you and the fact that he is the one that takes care of the house. They sometimes throw passive aggressive comments about your femininity and your relationship. But you pay them no mind because the two of you are very happy about your arrangement.
Househusband nanami! Who thought being away from the sorcerer world would mean to be away from the people as well. Sike, his least favourite Gojo is your best friend. You wanted to surprise him by introducing your childhood best friend, imagine his shock when that white haired idiot waltzed right in calling him with that annoying nickname. Apparently you had ties to the sorcery world, that he knew. But he didnât know that the ties were deep enough to the point where you grew up with most famed and protected child of all time. He knew that you had a heavenly restriction making you quite lethal. But you didnât go out on missions a lot to the point where you were in danger all the time. It didnât mean that he wasnât worried to death every time you went out doing a favour to your family.
Childhood best friend Gojo! Who was sceptical at first of who your partner was. He couldnât believe you got engaged without him knowing. You are his favourite person in the whole world, He tells you everything. Suffice to say he was very upset and it took you bribing him with his favourite sweets to relent. He wanted to meet that twat immediately, intimidate him a little but you refused to tell him who it was, saying you wanted to keep it a surprise. And he was surprised alright, because it was boring responsible nanami Kento. How he bagged you will be the ultimate mystery in Gojoâs eyes because that man has no game at all. But he was satisfied because nanamin is responsible and he is a gentleman so he will treat you right. And if he doesnât, well God help him, because he sure is not going to protect him from you. You are his bestie, you can do no wrong.
Househusband nanami! Who invites his previous students for dinner every now and then, yuji absolutely adores you. And ino thinks you are the most badass woman heâs ever seen.
Househusband nanami! Who picks up yoga as hobby. He finds it incredibly relaxing to do and it keeps in shape. He goes to a little studio filled with housewives, and he enjoys sharing recipes and tricks with them. And when he gets off from the studio he sees an advertisement for couples Pilates lessons. He wants to go with you. And you are never good at refusing him.
Househusband nanami! Who is so thankful for you being in his life and giving him this. Who has his doubts every once in a while, but with reassurances from you he is back to being the best househusband anyone could ask for. He loves the little home that he has built with you and he wonât have it any other way.

He always took this route to get home. It was his favorite way to get home. Not only that, but it made it so heâd always pass by his favorite bakery. The coffee was exquisite and the pastries brought him straight to heaven.Â
Kento Nanami didnât regret never going back to the sorcererâs life, but sometimes he wondered if working in stocks was really the best for him. Too late to change his mind, as his 45th birthday was nearing and he knew that he didnât have too long to work now before he could fully retire.
The little bakery was his relief. Kento looks forward to it every single day. Even on his days off, he goes to that bakery. He loves to eat breakfast there. He enjoys sipping on coffee while looking over paperwork. And the thing he enjoys the most thereâŚitâs you.
You with your sweet smile, your soft voice and calm demeanor. Youâre the person who always makes his days brighter. Even when his boss is on his ass, he knows that seeing you will be the bandaid his soul needs. So every day, he walks to and fro work and passes by the bakery where you work.
One day, he makes his way there after a long day at work. Heâs completely exhausted. The only thing that makes him feel good in this world today will be to see you. He wants to see your smile before he heads home for the evening. After this long day, itâs the only thing he can truly say would heal him.
And yet, when he enters the bakery, he notices youâre not at the counter. He sighs and loosens his tie, approaching the counter to greet the older woman who works there.
âGood evening, okyaku-sama!â she calls to him, beckoning him over.
âGood evening, can I get a loaf of sourdough bread and a cup of green tea?â
She nods and gets started on his order. He already knows how much itâs going to cost him, so he pulls out a few bills and some coins and places them on the counter. Heâs disappointed that you arenât here tonight, but he thinks heâll be able to survive.Â
âHere you are! Do you have your points card?â the elderly barista asks him.
âOh, yes, here you are.â
Kento hands her the points card, and sheâs not privy to the sad look on his face. He comes every day, sometimes multiple times a day and itâs mostly to see the young barista who is her favorite coworker.
âShe just got off,â the elderly barista explains. âIf you hurry out now, sheâs probably outside having a smoke.â
Kentoâs cheeks and tops of his ears burn, âW-whatâŚ?â
The elderly woman laughs, âThe young woman you come here to chat up. My coworker? Sheâs probably outside smoking in the smoking section.â
Kentoâs heart flutters and skips a beat. He takes the cup of tea and loaf of bread from her, thanking her for her service. The elderly barista laughs softly, ushering him outside.
He makes his way out, finding you exactly where your coworker said youâd be. Youâre sitting on an overturned crate, a tired look on your features. Something about this warms Kentoâs heart. He knows heâs not the only tired person in this world. You work hard; he has seen it first hand.
An unlit cigarette balances on your bottom lip. You seem to be spaced out, not really paying attention to anything. Kento notices a few pastry boxes near where you sit. He comes closer to you, smiling down at you. A lit lighter appears in your view.
âCould I light that for you?â he asks.
You gasp softly, the cigarette nearly falling out of your mouth. Kento gently cups your chin to steady you and he lights the cigarette.
âThank you,â you whisper before exhaling.
Kento procures his own cigarette and lights it up. âMy pleasure.â
Neither of you know what to say for a bit. He takes a sip of his green tea, sitting next to you and he smiles. Itâs a comfortable silence.
âYouâre my regular, arenât you?â you ask him, smiling at the older man.
He blushes once more, âAm I this obvious? Even your coworker knew who I wasâŚand she made sure to tell me where you were.â
You mutter a curse under your breath. Damn that older womanâŚputting her nose in your love life.
You chuckle softly, taking a deep drag from your cigarette. âI mean,â you blow out the smoke. âYou come here multiple times a day.â
Kentoâs eyes widen, âI like the coffee! And the pastries!â
You canât help but laugh even more now. He was so cute. Quite a bit older than you, but you always liked that in a relationship. You move a bit closer to him, opening up one of the pastry boxes.
âSince you love the pastries so much, why not try this? ITâs a new pastry Iâm working on for the cafe.â
Kentoâs hands shake as he reaches into the box and pulls out a flaky little pie looking thing from the box. Itâs tiny and has a gooey looking center. He puts out his cigarette, bringing the small pastry to his lips. The first bite is exquisite. He unknowingly lets out a moan of joy at the flavor. Gooey cinnamon and butter and nutmeg andâŚ
âThat good huh?â you ask, flicking your cigarette.
Kento nods, mouth still full of pastry. âAmazing! Please tell me youâll be selling these in store!â
You smile. âWell I might just because my favorite customer just complimented me.â
Kento swallows the last bite, his cheeks still red. He never knew just how nervous and shy you made him feel. He looks at you seriously, his mind whirling with a million thoughts. You put out your cigarette, leaning in to kiss his cheek softly.
âIf you liked that, why donât you come to my place sometime and I can bake for you?â
Kentoâs at a loss for words, but he manages to say one thing. âS-sure!â
You take out your phone, thrusting it into his hands. âPut your number in my contacts.â
Kentoâs hands feel so shaky as he puts his number into your phone. You canât help but smile at him. Both of you have the biggest crushes on each other and itâs only now that you finally get to make your move.
âGreat! So if youâre not busy nowâŚâ you suggest, a grin on your face. âWhy donât you walk me home? I can pay you with pastries.â
How could Kento say no to that?

Your blood is pumping as you round the corner, only a few more steps until you reach the driveway.Â
The jog today was pretty refreshing. There were no calls from work asking about things that could wait until 8 AM, no toddler fussing about waking up, and no child whining about getting homework done. It was just you, your FitBit, your steamy audiobook, and the lingering thoughts of meeting your husbandâs eyes this morning. Lately, itâs been like a little game to rile him up.Â
Youâve been married for a few years and a family of four for seven years with a sweet little girl, a second grader with the attitude of an old lady, and a precious little boy, a preschooler with keen intuition. With your lives being consumed with work and taking care of the kids, you feel like your relationship has been put on the back burner. Long gone were the days in which you two made love at the drop of a hat, fucking on anything that could hold you. Now, you were lucky enough to get a little dry humping.
It was getting depressing, and more annoyingly, frustrating, so you started to put your riled-up energy elsewhere. You were up at the crack of dawn making everyoneâs lunches and going on occasional jogs, you were using your PTO for brunches with the girls and spa days, you had regular pilates classes, the real pilates, and most importantly, you were finding small pockets of time for yourself.Â
From buying yourself small gifts to filling your Kindle with romance books to pleasuring yourself on the nights Miguel worked overtime. You were sure to keep yourself busy. All of that, and you still couldnât get the thought of Miguel entangled with you out of your head.Â
You heaved out as you stopped at the end of the driveway, taking a few breaths to calm your state. The book you were listening to was on a particularly enthralling scene and you wondered if it was something that Miguel would be interested in trying.Â
You looked down at yourself and decided to unzip the top of your athletic jacket, letting the tightness of your bra and the fabric push your cleavage up. One smooth swipe of your clothes and you were walking to the front door.Â
It was 6:40 AM, so there was plenty of time to have a little quiet moment with your husband.Â
You walked into the kitchen and saw him standing in all of his glory. A newspaper in his left hand, because some things didnât need to be digitized, a âBest PapĂĄ Everâ mug in his right hand, black glasses on his face, and your favorite thing, a naked plush torso on display.Â
In the first years of parenthood, his metabolism was through the roof. Despite him joining you for every snack, meal, and midnight dessert, he never lost that tiny little waist or those washboard abs. It wasnât until your youngest was born and babbling that his appearance started to change. His arms became a mix of muscle and cellulite, his thighs were softer than ever, his chest was full and plump, and his waist widened gifting you with his soft belly and a happy trail that continued to his belly button.Â
The early time didnât stop the coil of neediness in your stomach from forming.Â
âGood morning, hubby,â you say with a lilt to your voice. You walked closer to him, an extra bounce in your step, and leaned on the island.Â
Sure enough, Miguel was peeking at your chest from over his glasses, mug hovering over his lips.Â
You only smiled coyly, waiting for his response.Â
âGood morning. How was your jog?â he puts the newspaper and mug down, folding his arms under his chest.Â
You stared at his bulging arms, pressed-up pecs, and his tummy that moved with him and almost whined.Â
âIt was really good. Super nice and refreshing. Maybe a little warm,â you crossed your legs, impatient. âHowâs your morning so far?â
âItâs better,â he says, making the short distance to crowd your space. He leans over you, hands going to the island. âMy wife is here now.â
You smile at his words, hands itching to touch him but not wanting to ruin the stride. Instead, you look up at him and pan his lips.Â
âIâm feeling better, too,â you whisper, waiting.Â
Miguel leans forward to press his lips onto yours, the smell of coffee hitting your senses. You feel little fireworks go off as he starts to open your mouth. Everything felt just right in this moment.Â
When his hand slid across your back, you almost jumped up to wrap your legs around him. You tilted your head and wrapped your arms around his neck. You could feel yourself slipping against the counter, but Miguel was right there to steady you.Â
For what felt like hours to you after so long of a heated connection, the two of you made out on the kitchen island. Only some birds chirping, the occasional car passing by, and the hum of the washing machine could be heard next to the sound of you both breathing into each otherâs lips
âCome with me to the shower?â you say, eyes heavy and pleading.Â
You could feel Miguel tense up, back rigid as he moved back.Â
âI better stay. Raul might wake up soon and he was having a hard time sleeping last night.â
Your heart dropped at the rejection. You were hoping that this would be the one, the moment that youâve been anticipating for months. Some form of sexual connection.Â
âOk. Iâll be out soon,â you turn and go to the master bathroom, tugging the zipper down hastily. You felt a bit dejected and embarrassed, but youâre trying to let it go. Your mommy side knows that your youngest woke up in distress last night so it makes perfect sense that Miguel wants to be alert for his cries, but your wife side wants her husband back and canât help but feel like he didnât want you.Â
With this brisk shower, you hoped this self-doubt and neediness washed away with it.Â
You tapped your fingers against the desk, staring off at your computer. Work today was slow, which you didnât mind because that meant you could frequent your watchlist, but your mind kept wandering off while watching some random K-drama.Â
Last night, you woke up to what sounded like Miguel getting off in the bathroom.Â
He got off work super late that day, so you took the initiative to get the kids to bed and go to bed early.Â
What you didnât expect was to wake up to the sound of his grunts coming through the bathroom door.Â
At first, you were a little hurt that he didnât wake you up to help him out, but then you were so overcome by the sound of him whimpering and moaning that you couldnât help but pleasure yourself.Â
He sounded so desperate and wanton, cursing every once in a while. You bit your lip as you imagined him right next to you, voice right in your ear. You wanted his weight on you. You wanted to feel his skin against yours.Â
You lay in the empty bed rubbing yourself until you came, his noises stopping a while before you finished. You were hoping he would come out and see you so you prolong your orgasm to no avail, sleep coming to claim you before he did.Â
When you tried to ask him about it in the morning, he kept avoiding your eyes, saying something about his stomach giving him the blues.Â
You let it go then, but that didnât stop you from thinking about it all day.Â
In a spur-of-the-moment decision, you decide to text him a flirty message, running to the bathroom to take a picture to match. You waited a little bit, hoping that he could take at least a peek.Â
âYou look gorgeous, honey.â
Just gorgeous? Not hot? Not good enough to make him want more?
You scrunched your mouth to the side, asking if he could send a picture back.
âBaby, you know I canât. Iâm at work right now.âÂ
You huffed at that. You knew he was just in his lab by himself. There was plenty of time and solitude to take a picture. He used to send random pictures of himself all of the time.Â
For the rest of the day, you were irritated, feeling slighted at the hands of your husband.
You took a break from trying to seduce your husband, tired of the pushback. You put your all into taking care of the kids and maintaining the house when you could.
âAnd how many sticks does that leave Cassie with?â you asked Gabriella. You both were at the dining table with her math homework sprawled everywhere while dinner was in the oven.Â
â27!â she shouted, voice becoming more confident over the course of the math sheet.Â
âCorrect! Youâre knocking âem out, girl!â
âBuen trabajo, mija,â Miguel said with vigor as he came by to kiss the top of her head. âYouâre doing so well.â (Good job, mija.)
âDoes this mean I can get a cookie?â she asked, quick to melt her fatherâs heart.
âNot before dinner, Gabriella, you know this,â Miguel bounced Raul in his arms, a little fussy and sniffly.Â
âPlease, papĂĄ!â she looked up at him with big brown eyes and a pout. Â
Miguel sighed, unable to say no to her 9 times out of 10.Â
He looked at you frantically, watching you snickering behind your hands, âYou have to ask MamĂĄ.â
Whenever he really wanted to say no, he used you as a trump card.
Gabriellaâs shoulders drop as she turns to you, already knowing the drill.
âThe answer is no. You can wait until after dinner,â you say, squeezing her cheek.
âYou always say no,â Gabriella whines dramatically, slumping in her seat with her arms crossed, pout just like her dadâs.
âAnd you can always go to bed with no cookies,â you chide as you get up to go check on dinner. âNow go put your homework up and wash your hands, dinner is almost ready.â
She puts her papers back in her folder with the theatrics of a Broadway actor, sighing dramatically with each step she took to her room.
Miguel laughed at her actions watching her leave, âSheâs just like her Mami when she gets like that. Fussy.â
You pause to put your hand on your hip, âNo, sheâs just like her Father when she canât get her way. Whiny.â You open the oven and pull the lasagna out to the stove to cool a bit.Â
âWell, I canât say no to her just like I canât say no to you,â he says, placing Raul at the table with a hand running over his soft hair. âYou both have the same puppy-dog eyes.â
âYou like leaving the hard parenting to me.â
âThat is not true. I just tussled with a four-year-old to get him to take his cold medicine and made a promise of not one, but two bedtime stories,â he says, coming up behind you as you reached to get the dishes. He got them down for you instead, hand on your hips and stomach pressed against your back.
You bite your tongue in order not to will your negligent, horny brain from awakening. You didnât have time for those thoughts, little feet were near, and every advance you gave him ended in failure.Â
âIs he doing ok?â you say, referring to Raul he sat at the table with his head down, a teddy bear hugged against him as he pitifully moved his toy car back and forth. It was definitely a big shift from his usual talkative demeanor.
âWe might have to go to the doctor again. His allergies are really acting up.â
You leave Miguelâs side to go squat down by Raul, âHow are you feeling, sweetheart?â
You rubbed his back, trying to see if he felt warmer than usual and sure enough, he was burning up.
âMy throat hurts, Mama,â he said, little voice just about gone.Â
âOh, I know, my sweet baby,â you say with a soft voice. âDo you want me to make you some alphabet soup?â
Raulâs face twists up, lip a little wobbly, âBut I want some cheese noodles.â
âHey, itâs ok!. You can have some lasagna. I just want your throat to feel better. Hot things will make it feel better.â
âThe cheese noodles are hot, too.â
You smiled, âThatâs right, the cheese noodles are hot, but I mean a hot liquid.â
He stayed quiet for a moment, hands squeezing his teddy bear as he thought, âCan I have hot chocolate?â
âOf course you can. Can I give you a kiss?â
He nods his head slowly and you lean over to kiss his head. You needed to get him under the covers soon. Before you could pull away, he wrapped his arms around your neck, snuggling up to be held. You couldnât resist holding your baby, especially when you couldnât take his pain away.Â
You get up to see Miguel helping Gabriella plate the slices of lasagna on each plate and setting up the side salad. Your heart filled with joy watching them giggle over the stretchy cheese. It was moments like this that reminded you that you were taking the right steps, that this was the perfect little life. Â
As they set up the table with the plates and drinks, you kept Raul in your arms, ready to help him with tonight's dinner.Â
âThank you for the food, Mommy,â Gabriella said with a toothy smile.Â
âYouâre welcome, baby,â you say, cutting Raulâs food up even smaller, not wanting him to struggle any more than he had to tonight.Â
The table was quiet, save for Gabriella and Miguel smacking their food occasionally and Raulâs wheezy breaths.Â
By the time dinner was over, Gabriella was buzzing in her seat for cookies, and Raul was close to falling asleep in your arms.Â
You couldnât ask for anything better.Â
With Raul sound asleep, Gabriella tucked in bed, and Miguel watching cable, you had a moment to yourself to think.Â
Did todayâs small touches mean anything?
You stood in the bathroom moisturizing your skin after a hot bath. You said you were going to stop trying to fish for your husbandâs attention, but if you were honest, todayâs brief moment of connection did it for you. You couldnât stop your thoughts once you were alone.
You decide to wear just a pair of panties and one of his old t-shirts to bed: a look that wasnât trying too hard to get his attention, but youâre sure heâs going to notice it.Â
You sat on the bed and decided to read until he came into the room. You hope you were giving a sexy girlfriend vibe. Your skin was all smooth, you smelled good, and you knew you looked good.Â
When Miguel walks in, he pauses at the door to stare at you.Â
âWhy are you looking at me like that? Come to bed,â you say.Â
Hook, line, and sinker.Â
Miguel shuffled over, eyeing you from head to toe. He looked delicious in his tank top, fabric stretched in the best possible ways.
He crawled on the bed next to you, âMy band t-shirt?â
âYeah! Itâs comfy.â
He rubbed his hand up your naked thigh and your nerves started to sing. Any further up, and you might just wet your panties from his touch alone. You missed it so much.Â
He leaned over to kiss the juncture your neck and shoulder, your neck, your cheek, and then he stopped.Â
He justâŚstopped.
âWell, I gotta go in earlier tomorrow, so Iâm going to sleep early. Is it ok if I turn this light off?
You felt your throat dry up, âYeah, ok.â
He got under the sheets and switched his lamp off, leaving you in the dark with the faint light of your Kindle illuminating the room.
âGoodnight, honey,â he said with a yawn.Â
âNight.â
You turned your Kindle off and just sat in silence, his snores breaking the illusion of the dark consuming you.Â
Youâre starting to think the worst.Â
You kept up a number of tactics subtle to glaringly obvious to appeal to your husband from changing up your perfume to what you would say was an amazing strip tease. Absolutely nothing is working.Â
He kept listing off excuses from the kids to his job to his parents to his brother, anything to avoid an intimate session with you. He even chose a night out with his boys over a night in bed with you which was jarring because he always made you feel good before going out to have a good time.Â
Did he not find you attractive anymore? You knew childbirth brought a lot of change, but you were still the same woman he met and fell in love with.Â
Did he not love you anymore? He often praised you for being a good mom and his pet names never stopped, but after that, his declaration of love for you had been very surface-level.
Is he cheating on you?
You really didnât want to entertain that thought, but your heart couldnât take any more pain than it already had.Â
So, one day when you say youâre taking the kids to the park, you drop them off at your momâs place instead, hoping that if there was something going on, no little hearts would be broken once you unleash a beast in the house.Â
You pull back in the driveway to see that heâs still here, just as you suspected. You make your way quietly through the house, inching closer to you allâs bedroom.Â
Your heart almost stops when you hear the sound of Miguelâs voice, high and breathy in a way that should only reach your ears. You donât think when you swing the door open, adrenaline pumping high. Â
Miguel yells, scared to death but alone.Â
âWhat are you doing?â you ask, voice frustrated.
âWhat am I doing? What are you doing?â
You look at the state heâs in, shirt up, waistband under his dick, and a mystery fabric in his hand.Â
âWere you getting off?â you say, hands dropping to your side. âDo youâŚdo you not love me anymore?â
âWhat?â
âDo you. Not. Love me anymore. You avoid me every time Iâve tried to initiate something with you. We havenât made love in so long. You keep making excuses to not be alone with me. You donât even want to do normal things with me like send pictures or makeout until weâre out of breath. Iâve heard you in the bathroom during the night and now youâre here doing the same thing, without me, your wife.â Your eyes start to water after it all, feeling utter defeat.Â
âCariĂąo, this is a misunderstanding,â he pleads, voice distraught. âI do love you. Iâve never stopped loving you.â
âThen why are you doing this to me?â
âBecause,â he pauses, fixing his clothes to have some decency. âIâŚhavenât felt the greatest about my body.â
Your tears dry up as soon as the statement resonates, âWhat? What do you mean?â
Miguel sighs.
âLately, itâs getting harder and harder for my old clothes to fit me anymore, Iâm way too busy to hit the gym and more than anything, I think you deserve a man whoâs a little less,â he gestures to himself, âlet go.â
âSays who?â
He looks at you as if youâve grown two heads, âUh, everybody?â
âWell, who is everybody because Iâd like to strangle them for letting you think that my husband isnât good enough for me.â You walk deeper into the bedroom crowding Miguelâs space. âYouâll always be perfect for me. The vows I promised to you will not be broken over something so normal as weight gain.â
He looked like he could cry.Â
âWhy did you hide you were feeling this way, baby?â you hold his head in your hands scratching at his scalp.Â
âIt felt stupid and silly. Youâve been doing so well socially and physically, I wanted to see if I could fix it on my own before bringing you down with my problems.â
âMiguel OâHara,â you say, gripping his jaw firmly. âIâm your wife. I might not be able to solve everything, but at the very least, you need to talk to me. Tell me how youâre feeling, express yourself with words. Donât hide.â
He wrapped his arms around you, sniffling, âI know. Iâm sorry. It wonât happen again.â
You pressed a long kiss into his scalp, rubbing his back.Â
âOh my gosh,â you chuckled. âYou were feeling so much internally, meanwhile I was practically screaming at you to fuck me. I thought you werenât attracted to me anymore.âÂ
So much for communication.Â
Miguel just burried his face in your chest while he groaned, âThatâs the thing! You were driving me crazy with your tight little workout clothes and your lingerie. You looked so good, but I couldnât get out of my own head. Iâve beenâŚâ
âYouâve been what?â
âI,â he got red in the face. âIâve been using your underwear.â
You look down to Miguelâs crumbled up hand and it was in fact your underwear from the night you wore his band t-shirt, drenched in his essence.
Your stomach turned with excitement.
âSo this is what you were doing in the bathroom in the middle of the night, hm? Using my panties? Giving them more action and attention than me?â
Miguel nodded, eyes hazy.
âDid it feel good?â
Another nod.
âI bet it did. I would wake up and hear you trying so hard to cum.â
You donât know how, but his face got even warmer.
âYou left your poor wife all alone, thinking about you on top of her until she came too.â
âI did?â
âYou didnât know?â you ask, playfully. âI was up all night imagining you walking out to see me. I wanted these arms to come and hold me.â
You squeeze at his arms on your sides.Â
âI wanted your weight on me. I wanted your chest against mine.I needed you so bad.â
You move to sit in his lap, knees on the side of him.
âYou do such a great job of being a father. This beautiful change in your body is only proof of your hard work and dedication. Itâs proof of love for your family.â
Miguel only melted in your hands, face a cloud of emotion.
âI love you, Miguel. I adore you. I yearn for you. I want you.â
With every declaration, came a kiss to his lips.
âCan I show you how much I love you?â
âPlease.â
With that, you took his shirt off and made your way down his chest. You lingered around his chest, holding his pecs as you kissed them all over. You couldnât stop your moans as your tongue felt across the hairy planes of his chest, sucking and pulling on his nipples. Miguel shudders as you pay special attention to them, sensitive after not being with you for so long.
âYou donât know how long Iâve wanted this,â you breathe into his skin. You slide onto the floor and just press your face into his stomach.
âYou like it that much?â
âLove it. You look so yummy walking around. You could be just standing there and I get so,â you cut yourself off, trying not to overwhelm him with just how much you were feeling. âYouâre hot, baby.â
You kiss down his happy trail to reach his pants, his stomach twitching. You tugged a bit too hard on his pants, causing him to laugh.Â
âWhatâs so funny?â you say with a pout.Â
âI havenât seen you like this since we won that coupleâs retreat.â
âNot my fault. You were all sexy up there, beating the other husbands with your big brain. It was doing something to me.â
You finished pulling and you could almost cry with joy when Miguelâs cock springs next to your head. The sound you make when you see it also has Miguel wound tight.Â
Completely taken over by your neediness and desperation, you pull one of his thick legs over your shoulder, kissing and sucking on the skin while your fingertips dance around the entirety of his length.Â
The display of strength shocks Miguel who drips and whines at your actions.Â
âIâm gonna make you feel so good, baby. Do you want that?â
âYes,â he whispers.Â
You cup him while you take his head in your mouth. It felt like pure bliss to have that familiar taste in your mouth. With the way you were humming, Miguel can tell that you were about to put him to sleep.Â
You took no time letting your tongue stretch to take more of him in. Your cheeks hollow as you go further, one hand kneading at the thigh you were holding and the other switching from fondling him to wrapping around the base of his length.Â
âGod,â Miguelâs voice filled the room, the loudest it had been for the past few months. âI donât think Iâll last that long.â
You let go of him and lick down the sides, âThatâs because youâre too busy fucking other things instead of me.â
ââM sorry,â he whined as you went back down on him. âI-I was still thinking of you and, ngh, wanting you.â
âMm hm,â your voice sent shocks down his spine as you didnât let go. He moved his hips steadily, dick sliding in and out of your mouth and pudge occasionally pressing against your face.Â
The faster he went, the noisier the sounds got. He moved his hands to your head, thighs eerily close to tightening around your face. You couldnât have it any better.Â
You dug your nails into his hips, throat contracting in order to take him in. Even with your jaw slacked, itâs been so long since you took him like this that you gagged more often than not. With every sound of your throat struggling, Miguel shouted your name, hands gripping tighter on your hair.
You could tell he was close by the way his thigh was tensing on your shoulder, so when he said the four words, you took him to the hilt, face completely pressed against him.Â
âShit!â he felt like passing out as he released into your throat. You swallowed as much as you could, but you couldnât take it all, saliva and cum esxaping down your chin to his balls.Â
He grunts when he pulls you off, chest moving sporadically.Â
You lick your lips and let out a satisfied sigh, âFinally.â
Miguel could only chuckle as he laid back on the bed. You crawled on top of him, sitting on his thighs with a smile. You rub your hands on the skin of stomach, slowly getting to his chest, âIâm like, really wet right now if you want some more painties to use.â
He growled as he pulled you closer.
âYouâre never going to let that go, are you?â
âNope,â you say, popping the P. âI really want you to do it in front of me. Maybe send me a video for the nights you work overtime.â
He had the nerve to look embarrassed as he wrapped his arms around your back, âI might be able to arrange that.â He kissed your lips to distract you from speaking on it further.
After Miguel returned the favor with his head between your legs, the both of you were enjoying a quiet moment together before having to go pick up the kids.
âI canât believe you thought I was cheating on you,â Miguel said as you were drawing circles on his chest.
âMiguel,â you say, lifting your head. âI pulled all the stops. I did things that I knew you loved: the t-shirts, going commando, the flirty pictures. I even brought whipped cream to the bedroom and you told me âI canât eat that, itâll blow up my stomach,â when you were literally in the kitchen taking shots of it the night before.â
âOk. So I see how you might have gotten to that ludicrous conclusion, but did you not notice how much Iâve been staring at you?â
You clicked your teeth, âYeah, but what does that mean when you donât act on it?â
Miguel twisted his lip, âWill you feel better if I told you that your work pictures turned me on too?â
You pinched him resulting in a yelp, âIâll feel better right now if you give me a shower round.â
He pulled you in his arms as he got out of the bed, âLetâs go before your mom calls.â
You giggle and swing your feet on the way.
After your afternoon of praising his body, Miguel emerged as his previous confident self. This meant more days with him walking around shirtless, more quickies in the morning, makeouts that ended in pleasure, him smacking your ass, you smacking his ass back, and sex. Lots and lots of sex.
Right now, Raul was down for a nap and Gabriella was enjoying her tablet time.Â
You, however, were clawing at Miguelâs back like a cat as he pounded you into the mattress.Â
âFuck!â you shouted, eyelids fluttering as Miguelâs cock dragged across your walls. âIt feels so good.â
âQuiet, mi vida,â he whispered. âThe kids are in their rooms.â
You were quick to cover your mouth, moans muffled. It really didnât matter because the creaks of the bed were just as loud as you. One change in position and the headboard denting the walls could be added to it.Â
It was all too much.Â
First, he woke you up with kisses down your body and a promise to lighten your load around the house. Then, he got the kids up and prepared breakfast with the help of Raul. Later while you were out running errands, he sent you a coupon for a spa that just opened up down the street and warm message.Â
Now, he has you losing your mind with his hips slapping against yours, whispering praises in your ear.
âMiguel!â
âHm? Talk to me.â
âI-I canât-â your voice keeps getting louder unintentionally. He was so calm while he was reaching so deep inside. Your mind was hazy, wanting nothing more than him to keep going.
âYouâre doing so good, Ma. Youâre so good to me and the kids. Youâre such a beautiful wife. Such a pretty Mama. Just wanna make you feel good.â
You felt yourself clench around him at his words, tears falling across your temples. He kissed your tears tenderly, strokes getting deeper.Â
âM-Miguel,â you say with your heart full. âI love you.â
âI love you too, baby. So, so deeply,â
That was all it took for you to suck him in and scream into his shoulder, nails digging into his shoulder blades. His release was soon after, painting your walls with his lips pressed against your ear.
âPapĂĄ! You have to be more careful,â Gabriella fussed with her hands on her hips while Miguel was in the kitchen trying to make the family a snack. âYou got hurt at work!â
Miguel paused and reached behind his back, fingers roaming over the healing scratches on his shoulder from his last session with you.Â
You covered your teeth with your lips as Miguel turned to look at you with his eyebrows raised.Â
âItâs ok, mija. PapĂĄ is tough!â
âBut you gotta put something on it,â Gabriella said with a huff.
âThank you for your concern, nena. Iâll get MamĂĄ to take care of it, ok?â he ruffled her hair as he handed her a plate of bunny-shaped apple slices. âNow go sit with your brother and watch some TV.â
Miguel huffed as he walked up to the side of you with his arms crossed.
âWhat? You should put your shirt on!â
âThatâs not what you said when you-â
âHush and go get the aloe.â
Miguel snickered as he gave your lips a peck, âYeah, yeah.â
Life was wonderfully sweet.
With that, my first request is done! As always, like, reblog, and COMMENT. Let me know how you guys feel! đŠľ
pairing: toji fushiguro x reader | 1.2k words summary: boyfriend!toji again, fluff, soft!toji, grumpy x sunshine, that obligatory sick fic, bickering, affectionate scolding, pet names, this is very self-indulgent !! rheya's note: had this written for so long and never posted it oops !! but yeah resident grump worrying over his fav what's new?
toji knows something is off as soon as he steps into his apartment. he comes to the conclusion almost immediately, because he isnât greeted like he normally is when he comes home.
normally, heâll push the door open and youâll trip over yourself as you stand from the couch, a giddy smile on your face as you jump into his arms. and being the asshole that he is, toji never hesitates to grumble about it, clicking his tongue as he says things along the lines of âdammit kid one day i wonât catch youâ or âjeez baby let me get in the houseâ or something similar. but despite all that his hands will still be attached to you, rubbing your back as he smothers an amused chuckle against your hair.
but not today. today heâs greeted by quiet and emptinessâa clear lack of you. he had opened the door ready to catch you in his arms, but all he can do is raise a brow at the silence. as much as he normally complains about it, this absence makes his gut churn. he pushes all that aside, more concerned than anything as he drops his jacket onto the couch and heads for the bedroom.
toji is nothing if not observant, paranoid as his eyes dart from corner to corner of the small apartment. itâs ingrained into himâthis fear that his past will come back to haunt him and take you away in the most brutal way imaginable. but he tries to ignore that, continuing to head down the hall until he pushes the bedroom door open.
his shoulders drop in relief, seeing you laying on your stomach, face buried in the pillows, and he lets out a sigh. he sees you shift a little, signaling that youâre awake, so he takes a few steps forward.
toji climbs onto the bed and lays down next to you, dropping a heavy arm over your back. âwhatâs wrong?â
âdonât feel good,â you answer back. tojiâs brows furrow, and he manages to push his free palm against your forehead. heat pulses against his skin, and his frown deepens.
âthe fuck did you do to yourself?â he asks, not unkindly but still sternâyou can only glare at him hazily.
âitâs not my fault!â
âuh huh,â toji rolls his eyes, threading his fingers through your sweaty hair and pushing it back from your forehead. âso me telling you to put some layers on when you go out in the cold has nothing to do with this?â
you huff, face heating under his pointed stare, and all you can do is shove his hand away, before pathetically burying your face into the sheets again. âshut up.â
âdonât be a brat.â toji lets out a quiet chuckle, shaking his head indulgently. âitâs your fault for not listening to me.â
âif youâre just gonna lecture me, go away,â you complain, cheek pressed into the pillow. toji snorts, though his hand rubs what you assume to be soothing circles on your back.
âwhoâs gonna make sure your dumbass doesnât get into more trouble?â
another indignant huff, and toji only chuckles. âalright câmon kid. letâs get you in better shape, yeah?â he grunts, looping his arm around your waist and tugging you up. you immediately protest, whining out a plethora of curses attached to his name, and he rolls his eyes. âokay, alright shut up.â
he maneuvers your body into sitting position, leaning you up against the pillows and pulling the blankets up with furrowed browsâmeticulous in a way that he is only with very few things.
âyou eat anything today?â he asks, still fussing over the blankets, and you gulp quietly. one look and tojiâs frown grows deeper. âkid.â the word comes out stressed, like a scolding, and you wince.
âi didnât feel like it,â you groan, trying not to wilt under his pointed glare.
âdonât care,â he huffs. âyour body needs energy, stupid.â
ârude,â you mutter, crossing your arms and toji rolls his eyes.
âwhine all you wantââ he stands up, rolling his neck until he hears a satisfying crack. ââstill gonna make you eat something. soup okay?â
you donât want to admit how tempting it sounds, so with an unrelenting amount of stubbornness you glare at him. âfine.â
his lips quirk upward into a smug little grin, and you try to refrain from throwing something at him. he pats your leg. âalright.â
he heads into the kitchen, leaving you to your thoughts. you hear the occasional sounds of cooking and utensils and before long, the comforting smell of soup wafts through the apartment. you try not to show toji how your mouth is watering when he walks back in, a bowl in his palm.
âhere,â he grunts, propping a knee onto the bed that dips under his weight. âeat up, doll.â
you sigh, already hating the feeling of the cool sheets when you move even slightly to reach for it.
âyou gonna make me spoon feed you?â tojiâs brow quirksâsmug, and obviously amused.
âi can do it myself thank youââ you try to take the bowl from him with a glare but he raises it out of your reach and clicks his tongue.
âwill yâjust let me do this one thing for you, jeez,â he complains, glaring down his nose at you.
you cross your arms with a huff, tone going slightly apologetic. âi feel badââ
âwhy the fuck do you feel bad?â he asks sharply, eyes narrowed and confused and caught off guard like youâve said the most out of pocket thing.
âbecauseââ you stress, throwing your hands up miserably. âyou were out on these crazy missionsâprobably tired as hell. and instead of relaxing you have to come home and take care of me because i was too stupid to look after myself.â
toji groans, putting the bowl on the bedside table before sitting on the bed completely. âkid,â he says emphatically, taking your face in his palms firmly. âhow many times do i need to tell you this? i donât mind lookinâ out for you.â
âyeah butââ
âno shut up,â he snaps, an exasperated sigh escaping his lips. âyou always worry about bothering me or inconveniencing me or some other crap like that. iâm telling youâdonât.â
his thumbs gently press into the apples of your cheeks, and your lips part under his pointed gaze.
âi like doinâ shit for you, okay? ân takinâ care of you when youâre sick? thatâs nothing.â his lips tug into a lopsided smirk. âwho else is gonna look out for you anyway?â
you purse your lips, throat going tight because toji rarely talks like thisâso honestly open. and though youâre sure that many people out there would say heâs harsh and mean and not good for you, itâs things like this that prove how wrong they are.
âwhatâs wrong? did i break your brain?â toji asks, reaching up to knock his knuckle against your head, and you huff out a laugh, pushing his arm away.
âshut up,â you mutter, falling into his chest heavily. he chuckles, low and throaty as he pats your back.
âyou up for eating now?â you can feel him reaching for the bowl, and you smile against him, pressing your face further into his warmth because toji will always be nothing but safe for you.
âin a minute,â you answer, looping your arms around his waist. he sighs, shaking his head but he doesnât say anything else.
but you think you can feel him smile against your hair as he drops a chaste kiss to your foreheadâyou donât tell him that though.
blk fem reader x connie
s. you come up on rapper!connieâs timeline and heâs intrigued
you and rapper!connie knew each other through a mutual friend. you guys had met a few times, and despite it being a little flirtatious, it never progressed into anything more
rapper!connie who scrolled through his timeline as he hotboxed in his car until a video of yours came up. it was you in the dance studio which wasnât surprising. the cheers from the other people watching in the room was heard over vixen by miguel playing loudly through the speaker
rapper!connie watched your controlled and sensual moves. he watched you stare past the camera into what he figured was the mirror. your eyes were low and your face was focused yet relaxed
the way your hips swayed had connie damn near drooling, especially when you got on the floor and showed off your flexibility. the way the black leggings stretched over your hips and the way your crop top rode up a little did not help
when you finished, everyone cheered and your face shifted completely. the sensual look turned to a bright smile that graced your pretty plump lips. you shied away from the applause and cheers from your friends before the video ended there
rapper!connie who liked the post and pressed on your username to view your page.
connie noticed the purple ring around your very pretty profile picture (a selfie of you smiling in the driver seat of a car with the sun shining on you) and clicked on it to view your story. there were some from 22 hours ago about your new nail set, a smoothie place you tried, and a repost of the flyer for the âstilettos ân saturday nightsâ dance class. the caption read â2 hour masterclass. come out and support ladies and gents đâ
rapper!connie who watched the very last story which was from an hour ago and turned the volume up to see if he could hear anything in the back. it was a short video of you messing with your curly hair and putting up the peace sign with a kissy face at the end
rapper!connie who ignored the hop on cod message from his friends for the time being so he could send you a dm
he settled on pressing the heart eye emoji that was in line with the others (âa subtle moveâ he told himself) and tried to remain calm after seeing the emoji fly up the screen
stop being a chicken
rapper!connie who was away from his phone for just two hours to play video games with his friends until he felt himself start to get sleepy
he yawned for the umpteenth time into the mic as he rubbed his eyes harshly. âight ima hop offâ
all of his friends bid him goodnight before he shut off his console. the room that was previously only lit up by the light from the monitor now remained dark. he removed his wife beater with one hand and used the other to open his phone
connie was excited to be met with a notification from instagram that read y/user sent a dm. it was one winky face emoji. a smile spread across his lips and he fell face down on to his bed. literally all you had to do was acknowledge him and he nearly fell in love
rapper!connie who felt a desperate feeling of needing to keep the conversation going, sent a message that said âyour dance was fire asfâ
rapper!connie who was geeked when you sent a reply that said âthank you đĽ°â within ten minutes
his friends and family would describe him as a lover boy even though his intimidating demeanor masked that. however, he never found himself in too many relationships or even situationships since he claimed the right person hadnât come around
rapper!connie whoâs heartbeat sped up when it showed that you were typing again
if i knew you wouldâve seen it i wouldâve tried a little harder
âoh god,â connie murmured out loud
rapper!connie who felt obligated to show out now. nah dont trip you can show me in person his message said
boyyy stop you replied back
wyd tmrw night, connie persisted
rapper!connie who physically cringed when you left him on seen. he knew for a fact that he blew it and he was lowkey embarrassed
he sighed before going to close out of the app until the three dots began dancing on his screen again
hopefully spending it with you
his reply back was quick, bet.
i have some thoughts about dancer!nanami sponsored by the 10 years of dance training that i did as a kid and my roommatesâ crippling dance moms addiction
masterlists
dancer!nanami who is the dancer who everyone wants to partner with. he's so accommodating and makes every lift look effortless and beautiful and always showcases his partner above anything else
dancer!nanami who loves the structure of ballet. he finds peace in finding an art form that has a mix of beauty and rules
dancer!nanami who gets offers to dance around the world in huge productions, most of which he turns down because he prefers to stay in his small studio and continue to study ballet and master his technique because that's where his heart is
dancer!nanami who decided to take one of those jobs one day, and was pleasantly surprised when he met you, the other lead that he would be working with
dancer!nanami who is so stoic whenever he's not in the studio, and yet comes to life the moment the music starts playing. who shares that liveliness with you as you learn the choreography together
dancer!nanami who always makes sure that you're eating well and drinking water in between rehearsals. who makes sure that your pointe shoes aren't too loose or too tight and that you have plenty of materials for padding and/or fixing them
dancer!nanami who lends a hand whenever you need it when you're stretching before rehearsal. he'll be a steady wall for you to balance with, he'll help you get your leg high above your head; whatever you need, he will happily help. he'll probably also add some suggestions for different stretches that either he's done or that he's heard work really well
dancer!nanami who can't take a compliment to save his life. he gets all red whenever you in particularly point out that he's doing really well even if it's just the simplest remark from you
dancer!nanami who, conversely, gives out compliments like they're second nature. but only when you're dancing. if it were anywhere anyone else, there would be no way nanami would let his praise slip out so easily, but with you it comes naturally because he's really just always in awe of how elegant and effortless you make even the most complex steps look
dancer!nanami who falls in love with your dancing when he finds you working at the barre hours after rehearsal ended. who asks to join you and promises that he won't be a disturbance, but really he enjoys spending more time with you and bonding over your equal devotion to dance
dancer!nanami who follows your lead for once when you ask if he'd like to practice your actual routine for a while, since you're both there anyways. who has a different level of tenderness about him now that the studio is cleared out and the only light is the last bits of the sunset pouring in through the window
dancer!nanami who lets his hands linger just a beat longer on your waist after a turn because he's just enamored with you. who never gets distracted while he's dancing except for when it's late nights like this with you where there's no pressure, just the two of you sharing your love
dancer!nanami who lets you kiss him when you're done because you're just so happy that you have such a talented and caring partner and that you're both starting to nail this dance. who kisses you back after a moment with just as much passion and love that formed through dancing and therefore couldn't possibly be put into words
dancer!nanami who brings an elegant bouquet of flowers out to you at every finale of the show and is sure to make you the star far above himself
dancer!nanami who has hearts in his eyes when he lifts you high about his head because you're just so gorgeous and he's so proud of you and all the hard work that you've put in to get to the stage
dancer!nanami who proposes to you in the studio where you first met. proposing on stage is much to flashy and impersonal to him, but when it's just the two of you, as well as some of your loved ones in the quiet studio, nanami thinks it's just perfect
dancer!nanami who, although it's not traditional, plans for the two of you to dance at your wedding. like sure also the typical couples' dance, but also a ballet number that you both learned years ago. it's nothing huge and performative, but it's what brought the two of you together, so it only fits
retired dancer!nanami who, with you of course, builds his own studio where the two of you can teach classes yourselves and inspire the next generation to fall in love with dance the way that the two of you did
retired dancer!nanami who still pulls you into the studio after all of the kids have left to dance. whether it's an old routine or just ballet combinations at the barre, it's both of your favorite ways to end the evening
i'm mentally ill over him for fucking real. i hope y'all enjoy this because it is a little different than how i usually post headcanons, but it made the most sense to me for this in particular. okay that's all, thank you for reading and indulging my brain rot (oh also i have a dancer!gojo draft rn so like if yâall like this then lmk bc then i can work on that)

plug!mammon headcanons
a/n: let me just put this out there that I haven't played obey me in so long and I've fallen out of the fandom tbh. But was reading plug!eren fics for whatever reason and wanted to write something for this page...
fluff, discusses drugs and substance use
plug!mammon who got the idea of dealing from the casinos he frequents, in a dark shady vip area he witnessed all sorts of substances being used and sold well for one being the avatar of greed he heard how much these little baggies go for and two had some connections on how to start said business so the man was already set.
plug!mammon whoâs largest clientele base is at RAD why you may ask well he started making a quick buck off of students who wanted a way to destress and since there's no rules on dealing on school grounds mammon ran with it, later he got his fanclub to do the fine tuning after getting a shit ton of messages asking to buy. While mammon is the face of the operation his fans take care of distribution, payments etc all this man has to do is sit pretty and watch the cash flow come in
plug!mammon who at first glance is the definition of logo mania. This man can never leave the house without showing off where heâs buying his clothes in some way. And it doesn't help to see this man with copious amounts of shopping bags decorating his arms from said stores.Â
plug!mammon when meeting you for the first time couldnât trust you for shit as he thought youâd snitch to lucifer or diavolo so he made sure to have his goons keep a close eye on you and make sure you stay away from anyone who could unintentionally rat him out.
plug!mammon who after getting to know you more especially after your pact didnât want you to know what he does not out of fear of getting caught but because he cared about you in some confusing way and wanted you to keep your innocence but that didnât last long tbh you know this man is stupid affectionately and canât cover up his tracks
plug!mammon after coming clean revels in the fact that youâre amazed he somehow started an empire and loyal clientele. You ask so many questions practically idoling the man he cant help himself but brag and gloat about how people fear him and need him all at the same time.
plug!mammon who will never let you come along on his deliveries now I know I said he doesnât take part in the distribution but for the people who been day oneâs demons known to have fat fucking wallets he makes the trips out himself, its just to create a long lasting relationship but these people donât fuck around and the last thing mammon needs happening is you being caught up in business since his brothers nor anyone else in his life donât really know about this he canât protect you properly if something goes south.
plug!mammon who overtime confesses his feelings for you by taking you out on the fanciest âdateâ he told you it was to celebrate how much money he made for the year and spoils you to no end, he picked out an outfit for you with the help of his personal shoppers, got you a limo filled with fine alcohol and smells oddly familiar of mammons cologne.
plug!mammon who after making it official with you is obsessed with you, he is thinking of you when heâs dealing, counting money, with his friends etc. He refuses to keep you out of his mind and when heâs with you??? Oh it doesn't get any better always in your bubble one way or another this man GETS his way. Little miss princess
⊠â§âË âŠăSPRING â NANAMI KENTO.
contents. domesticity with nanami after moving in together. aka brushing your teeth. aka staring at him shamelessly as he does mundane tasks. (me writing someone other than gojo or geto ???? whatttttt :O)
it doesnât hit you that you and kento now live together until the the morning after the first night.
itâs spring. there are flowers you want to keep in your balcony sitting in your living room, the box labeled dishes is half empty from only what you took out for dinner, and you arenât quite sure where your clothing box is because you forgot to label it. but kento is handsome next to you in the bathroom, shirtless as he brushes his teeth.
there are two sinksâone for you and one for him, but you opt for brushing your hip against his and sharing one. he doesnât say anything, just scoots a little to the side and rinses his mouth as he makes room for you.
âplease stop staring,â he mumbles tiredly, âitâs getting awkward.â
âyou look handsome,â you pout, âi canât admire you?â
âiâm brushing my teeth,â he deadpans.
âyes, a very handsome sight. i love seeing your care for dental hygiene.â
kento sighs, grabbing the small towel from the side and patting his face dry as you lean down and spit, rinsing your own mouth and plopping your toothbrush back in place. next to his.
and your face wash is beside his too, and so is your shampoo and body wash in the shower. you step to the side, bumping hips with him again as you grinâitâs ecstatic, the expression on your face.
âkento, i just realized something,â you murmur, leaning to press a kiss to his jaw. itâs smooth, the feeling of his skin under your lipsâyou watched him shave earlier, sat on the counter and swung your legs as he carefully ran the razor along his skin.
âand whatâs that?â he asks, patting your face with the towel, gently wiping away the droplets of water with extra care.
âwe live together nowâand i can watch you brush your teeth every day,â you grin.
âwe shared a bed last night,â he raises a brow, âiâm sure you realized a bit before this that we now share a living space.â
wrong.
your home isnât put together yetâyou couldnât find your pajamas last night, so you wear kentoâs. the coffee machine still hasnât been taken out and plugged in yet, and breakfast is currently limited to cereal and fruit that doesnât need to be cut until the kitchen utensils have been organized. your couch hasnât arrived yet, and your bed is currently just a mattress on the floor until the bed frame is delivered.
it doesnât really dawn on you that you and kento are living together until you wake up with his chest under your cheek and his breath fanning against your forehead. sure, you and kento have spent nights at each otherâs apartmentsâbut that always results in one rising before the other to leave early and make up for the extra distance in the commute to work.
today, however, you and kento are home together. itâs springâyou can hear cicadas calling and see the buds blooming in the plants outside. there are flowers waiting to be potted in your balcony, and fresh strawberries of the season waiting for you in the kitchen.
and when you watch kento take his time and brush his teeth, hip accidentally bumping against yours as he leans down to rinse his mouth, you realize your home is with kento now.
you grin, wrapping your arms around his neck, âwell, weâve shared a bed before,â you kiss delicately at the slant of his jaw again, âbut iâve never seen you shirtless and brushing your teeth.â
âthis new obsession is scaring me,â he mumbles, âwhatâs so special about me brushing my teeth?â
âoh, kento,â you grin, warm and bright and as fresh as the first breeze of spring, âitâs certainly a sight. you just have to see it.â
he hums, shaking his head gently as he chuckles in that soft, calm little way that he does. his arms find your waist.
your bathroom, even with missing shower curtains, feels like itâs always been yours. it feels natural, living with kento, it feels natural sharing a towel to wipe your face and leaving the door unlocked for the other to come in as you prepare for the morning.
âi have my own sight,â he murmurs, tracing your cheek as his hand cups your face, âyou look lovely when you drool in your sleep.â
âkento,â you whine with a pout, âdonât watch me sleep.â
âhow could i not?â he grins, brown eyes bordering on hazel as they brighten, âitâs the best new part of my mornings.â
he kisses you there, in the bathroom you still have to finish setting up, the tiles cool beneath your feet and his lips warm against your mouth.
itâs spring when you move in with kentoâand you have a newfound appreciation for the season.
guess who wants to brush her teeth in the mornings with nanamin. it might be me. it might be my undying need for domesticity. it might be my deep desire to witness him spit. it might be both. i havenât decided yet
the perfect balance
for the first time in your life, your husband seems slightly less than thrilled about a date idea⌠you find out why.
1.2k words, gn!reader x nanami kento, all fluff + a bit of teasing
masterlist
âletâs do something tomorrow, kento,â you tell him as you stir dinner over the stove. heâs right next to you, preparing another part of dinner.
he hums, âiâd love to. did you have something in mind?â
you think for a moment before replying, âhmm, i guess i didnât really⌠wait! can we go ice skating?â
itâs impossible to miss the excitement in your voice when you land on the idea, and itâs equally impossible to miss the way kentoâs shoulders tense.
you tilt your head slightly, âunless you donât want to do that⌠we could do something else.â
you really wouldnât mind doing something elseâyouâd do just about anything as long as it was with your husband.
he seems startled by your suggestion, âno! no, ice skating is⌠fine. sounds fun.â
you set down the wooden spoon youâd been using to face nanami. it takes him a second to meet your gaze, and thatâs immediately how you know somethingâs off.
âwe donât have to, honey, you donât seem too thrilled by it,â you offer, a bit confused by his behavior.
âno, if thatâs what you want to do, iâd love to,â he glances towards the ceiling, searching for the right words. you place a hand on his to bring him back to reality. âitâs just⌠iâve neverâŚâ he trails off as your eyes grow wide.
a giggle escapes you and kentoâs eyes flash to yours. heâs visibly confused by your laughter, and youâd admit that maybe it wasnât very nice to laugh at him. or rather to laugh at the situation.
âwhatâs so funny?â he asks, a small frown decorating his face.
âyouâve never been ice skating before?â you ask, almost in disbelief.
he lets out a soft sigh, âno, i havenât,â he pauses for another round of your giggles. he pulls you closer to him, a smile finding its way to his lipsâyours really is infectious to him. âand perhaps i donât want to look like a fool in front of the love of my life⌠especially if theyâre going to laugh at me.â
you brush a piece of his hair out of his face and hold his face gently, âiâd never laugh at you, my love. i just think itâs funny that someone as perfect and graceful as you might not be perfect at something.â
he leans in to press a kiss to your lips, âiâm sure that will be amusing to you, sweetheart. we can go ice skating, if thatâs what you want to do. even if youâll laugh at me the whole time.â
you giggle again before turning back to dinner. oh, you donât think youâve ever been so excited for a date with your husband.
**
you get to the rink, and youâre pleasantly surprised that itâs not too busy. kento holds your hand tightly in his as he hands over his card to rent two pairs of skates.
youâre nearly giddy as you lace yourself upâitâs been so long since youâve been skating, and youâre even more thrilled that itâs kentoâs first time ever.
you stand in front of kento as he finishes lacing his own skates, holding out a hand to him.
âready?â you ask excitedly as he takes your hand to stand up a bit shakily.
he lets out a small sigh, âready as iâll ever be, i suppose.â
you lead him over to the entrance of the rink as he adjusts to walking on the thin skate. your smile has yet to leave your face at the sight of your husband learning to walk again.
you step onto the ice first, giving yourself a moment to adjust to the sensation before holding out a hand to kento, who looks just about as nervous as youâve ever seen him as he takes his first steps on the ice.
almost immediately he starts slipping, death grip on your hand tightening as he struggles to find his balance. when he finally evens out, he looks at your smile and his expression softens.
âwell, are you going to help me or just laugh at me?â
âi havenât laughed once!â you defend yourself, although youâll admit that a few giggles have been suppressed. âhold onto my hand and the wall, and just push off. not too hard, just little bitty pushes.â
nanami takes a deep breath before following your instructions, sandwiching himself between you and the wall to take small, barely moving steps.
youâre patient with him, as heâs been with you so many times, and eventually you make your way around the rink once.
âfeeling okay?â you ask, taking a brief break against the wall. âyouâre doing fantastic.â
kentoâs a bit breathless and still quite shaky as he replies, âhanging in there. i have a great teacher, after all.â
you give him a quick peck before turning around. you hold out your hands to him, and he only takes one at first.
âyouâre going to go backwards?â he asks, as if youâre pulling off the greatest feat known to mankind.
âmhm, and youâre going to take the other hand off of the wall and take both of mine,â you smile back at him.
he still looks at you like youâre a bit crazy, but eventually takes his hand slowly off of the wall and places it in yours. he wobbles a bit at first, but you help him find balance quickly. he really is a very quick learner.
you make your way around the rink a few more times, with only a few stumbles and no major falls. kentoâs eyes stay locked on his skates, allowing you to stare at him uninterrupted. heâs gorgeous like this, you think. heâs always breathtakingly handsome, but you rarely see him this focused, his cheeks even warmed with a bit of pink. if you didnât think it would knock him clean off balance, youâd kiss him silly right now.
âdo you want to try by yourself, now?â you ask. youâre sure heâs capable at this point, but you donât mind holding his hands either. âiâll still hold your hand, but we could go side by side now, i think.â
he looks a bit nervous at your suggestion, but agrees slowly. you turn around to face forward again, keeping his left hand in your right. as every other start has been, heâs a bit unsure of himself to start, but within only a handful of minutes youâre skating side by side as if youâd done it your whole lives.
a smile warms your face as his hand clings to yours. this was exactly what youâd had in mind when you suggested ice skatingâit all felt too perfect. like a scene out of a cheesy hallmark movie.
after another handful of laps around the rink, the two of you decide youâve had enough for the day and step off the ice. itâs almost instant, the way kentoâs usual confidence returns when heâs back in his street shoes.
he kisses you passionately by one of the small fires that lines the rink, cold hands holding your face.
âthis was fun, my love,â he says softly.
âit was perfect, kento. thank you,â you reply before pressing your lips back against his.
this is all iâve been thinking about for weeks now btw. i do in fact think heâd be really good at ice skating, but itâs fun to make him not perfect every once in a while :3

Nanami as your Schoolmate
You two met in the 2nd year of Jujutsu high, and it was literally at a vending machine. That day, he was in a really bad mood, and so he was kicking the machine 'cause it won't drop his drink.
"Goddamn it! This shit isn't working" he exclaimed, and you witnessed all of these quietly. It might be weird, but you actually found him cute while sulking. Even though he looked like that one weird emo classmate you'd definitely avoid, you tapped his shoulder to give him a drink.
He was shocked when he felt your hand tap his shoulder, and a faint blush appeared on his cheeks out of embarrassment. All he could say was "thanks" before you left the scene.
Ever since that moment, you two met in the library, at the convenience store, and almost everywhere you go. It seemed weird how he is offline whenever your online game buddy is offline. You also caught him one time in the library playing your favorite game, but were too shy to approach him 'cause it seemed like he was hiding from the librarian.
One day, you saw each other in the library, and mustered up the courage to ask him, "Hey...are you user SilentAnhilator?"
This was probably the riskiest and most embarrassing thing you've ever done in your lifeâasking someone you're not close with and at the same time, outing yourself as a gamer.
You expected him to give you a sour look, however, you were met with a blushing teenage Nanami which you still find cute whenever you remember it.
"I....Yes"
You became friends after that incident.
The trio formed (you, Nanami, and Haibara) always went on missions together, where Nanami would remain silent. Of course, he isn't safe from your teasing and Haibara's jokes no matter where you go.
Nanami as your boyfriend
He confessed to you after a year of being colleagues. He realized that the reason he gets awkward around you is not because you were former classmates, but because he liked you.
He decided to confess his feelings after seeing you in the infirmary, heavily injured from a mission.
"Are you okay? Do you need meds? Can you stand? Please, answer me."
That was the first time you ever saw Nanami cry. You asked him why he was so worked up to the point of shedding tears, it's just a stab and a few broken bonesânothing that Shoko can't fix.
"I'll tell you why when...the time is right." He brushed that question off, but your heart was beating fast, hoping that it was more than a friend's concern.
A week later when you were fully recovered, he asked you out for dinner. There, he formally confessed his feelings like a mature man would.
"Y/n, I hope you don't feel uncomfortable, it's just that I have something to confess."
That moment, you could hear your heart beating fast.
"I like you, romantically, as a lover. At first, I didn't know why I felt nervous around you and why... my knees get weak when I see you. I thought I just saw you as a dear friend and a valuable colleague but as time passed, I started seeing you in my dreams and I could tell that it already was beyond platonic..."
You remained silent, still taken aback by his words, face flushed in red.
"...I'm sorry if this is so sudden, but can I date you? I promise to properly court you, and I definitely take relationships seriously."
Seeing you flustered and speechless, he thought he was making you uncomfortable. But in fact, you were just taking time to process your 10-year crush's confession.
"I-I'm sorry, I made my dear friend uncomfortable. I understand if you don't feel the samâ"
"I like you too" was all you could say before hugging him tightly. Immediately, he reciprocated the action by hugging back.
Since that night, he started courting you by giving gifts, talking sweetly, and doing affectionate acts of service. Of course, he remained very respectful. In fact, your first kiss happened only after 3 months of dating.
He is very good in handling his alcohol, and so he always goes with you to office parties (which is always with Jujutsu High teachers).
* f/n=your first name
(He knew that you still had a hangover from the way you typed. Right after getting on the car, he continued to tease you about drunk-flirting with him on your way to Jujutsu High.)
Nanami as your husband
Please read my previous fics to see how he proposed to you đđť
He is definitely a caring husband who wants nothing but to live a peaceful life with you.
When you two married, you immediately moved to your house in Kuantan, Malaysia. That house was planned for and built for 2 years (through mutual efforts)
Now both retired from being sorcerers, he works a simple job at a bakery down the street while you pursue your dream of being a lawyer.
Since you both decided to live a simple life, he used his savings for the past 10 years in funding your daily expenses (he still earns a constant sum from his humble job at the bakery).
One day, you got sick and he had just finished his shift at the bakery.
Notes: I love him so much I'm so delusional but I don't think I could ever find a man like him.

fucking. frat parties, man,
you hate it. despise it even. whatâs so good about them anyway other than the fact watching dumb boys in snapbacks making a fool of themselves with drinking games?
definitely not your scene, but unluckily for youâit has always been your friends favorite thing to look forward to,
âyou need to cut yourself some slack babe. this party will do you good! i promise!â
rolling your eyes, you slip on one of your favorite heels before glaring at her. âdoubt it but thanks for the positivityâ
âmaybe todd will be there and you guys will catch up?â
âlike hell we willâ you scoff, walking towards the dressing table to pamper yourself,
âthat shit is history, heâs a fucking dead manâ
a certified douche bag, thatâs what todd is. dated him in freshman year and the relationship went for about six months before calling it quits because he had his tongue down some other girlâs throat and he had the nerve to blame it on you,
you were pretty much done with men at that point,
âsheâs rightâ one of your friends, gloria points out. âyou guys forgot what that asshole did to her, hm?â
âbutâ one girl steps in. âpeople change, right?â
you and gloria exchange looks, biting back a mocking smile at how innocent and naive the girl sounds. however, you shake your head at gloria, telling her to hold it in.
âyeah, sureâ you shrug at her question, busying yourself with makeups as the other girls from behind you continue with their chatting,
âwhat about miguel? that tall sexy oneâ
your hand freezes at the name, as a collective of oohâs and dreamy sighs fall upon your ears. yet you dismiss it anyway,
âand what about him?â
lyla, the pixie haired cut girl chimes in. âwasnât he the one who blew you a kiss during the football game? you know, when you were cheeringâ
it was the championship game, one after finals had ended. you and your cheerleading team were on the sidelines doing the stunts. one of the duties of being one was to cheer for your home team. being extra perky and all smiley,
he scored another touchdown within the last ten seconds, in which the crowd had erupted into loud cheers. this man sure got some speed on his feet,
you clapped your poms poms together, jumping in excitement while yelling out his jersey number. the rest of the girls are doing the same thing, some even louder than others. leading the crowd to loudly chant his last name,
miguel took his helmet off, smiling proudly at the full audience while bumping his chest with his fist. then his eyes landed on you, smile going wider as he watched you cheer for his team,
then he did it. blew you a kiss as he waved. mouthing a âthat oneâs for youâ before winking, in which you only rolled your eyes at the respond. you truly had no time entertaining another heartbreaker on campus.
that man maybe devilishly handsome and charming, but he also shared some highly disturbing amounts of girls in his dorm,
or so you have heard.
his friend jogged towards him, clasping his hand around miguelâs shoulder,
ânew girlfriend, oâhara? or looking for a quick fuck?â
if it was any other circumstances, heâd punch him for saying that about you. but he was far too entranced by your beauty to actually give a shit. instead he smiled, eyes refused sto leave yours as he watched your body move.
âgirlfriend. working on it, compĂĄâ
his voice is confident. almost like heâs sure that youâll be his. and you will
miguel finds you to be far more intriguing than the rest. beautiful, top of the class, fucking funny too. ever since he had exchanged a couple words with you during one the class you both shared, you pretty much occupy his mind from there.
and he had watched you punch one of the guys at his party one time so safe to say youâre the reason why his dick is hard for the rest of the night
ânot only that. he touched down and said it was for you, didnât he?! ugh! i am so freaking jealous!â
itâs almost funny how hopeless romantic most of your friends are. i mean sure, you are too, who isnât? but you would argue that if it wasnât coming from miguel, those girls probably wonât be swooning like right now,
âyou both are overreacting. he was just in the heat of the moment.â
ânuh uhâ gloria shakes her head in disagreement, scoffing with a small smirk. âsheâs right, that boy wants you. he wants you bad. like â24/7 deep dick inside your pussy and wonât let you walk straight after fuckingâ wants youâ
âa very⌠vivid detail, gloriaâŚâ you widen your eyes with a laugh while the other girls agree. âbut okayâ
âhow do you even know that?â
âbeck said soâ she shrugs, making you look at her with a deadpan expression. âwhat? me and him went back to fucking, donât judge me!â
a snort escapes your lips, tugging the lipgloss back out of your makeup pouch before unscrewing the tube,
âheâs like a total player, no? i donât think i could get together with a man who sticks his dick into any holeâ
âthatâs not true. theyâre just rumorsâ
âyeah, wasnât dana the only girl he had ever dated?â
âno that was xina. dana fucked his brotherâ
âwhat?!â
âisnât it the other way around?â
âiâve never seen him with girls that often. your opinion could be wrong y/nâ
you brush it off and let the girls gossip in the back. whether itâs true or not, staying away would probably better. after todd, you donât think you can afford another heartbreak.
fucking. men
-
the party had started a few hours ago, and itâs packed. a lot of students come and start filling up the house, the sound of asap rockyâs âfrat rulesâ booming through the speakers.
itâs not even close to midnight but miguel already spot a few kids getting drunk and throwing up in the backyard making him winces in disgust. he has told a few of his friends to keep an eye for broken furnitures but he doubts any of them listen,
theyâre far too busy exchanging saliva with some of the girls from the sorority,
âyo oâhara! beer pong later! youâre on my team!â
peter, one of his frat brothers yells. miguel looks over his shoulder to see him standing by the pong table with the others, he has his arm around a red haired girlâs shoulder.
miguel flashes a smile, head shaking as he fixes himself a beer from the keg. âcount me out, parker. go find other team playerâ
âoh boo! youâre no fun these days, oâhara! donât tell me youâre standing by to see if sheâs coming?â
âwait, miguelâs crushing on someone?â the red haired asks
âi told you babe, itâs the girl from cheerleading teamâ
miguel doesnât respond, because peter is right. he has been scanning over the room, pacing back to back to see if youâre here yet. a disappointment sigh leaves his mouth each time he fails to find you,
his frat brothers think heâs gone crazy. because why would he get himself so worked up over one girl when thereâs dozens of others lining up to get dicked down by him? pretty ones even,
but thatâs the thing, miguel doesnât find hooking up to be something that needs to be praised for. why would he pat himself on the back for screwing half of the sorority sisters? or bet on who gets to be the lucky bastard to get into the quiet girlâs panties?
gross. thatâs for sure. but it seems that his brothers think otherwise. he has no say in that, obviously. to each their own.
âsheâs coming, dude. chill. youâve been eyeing the goddamn door non-stopâ beck chuckles, sipping on his beer can
he ignores him, clicking the tongue against his teeth. âyou told gloria, right? to bring her here?â
âi did. so stop worrying. enjoy for a bitâ
beck leaves him with that, not before bumping miguelâs shoulder lightly with his fist, leaving miguel with his brows furrowed and lip in a small pout,
âwhere are you?â he thinks,
âhey miguelâ
a feminine voice pulls him out of the trance, in which he quirks an eyebrow and notices a short haired girl appears by his side, dragging her long manicured nails down his bicep,
ânot interestedâ he shoots her a quick glare before averting his gaze back towards the door,
the girl pouts, taking the bold move by resting her temple against his shoulder in which he shakes her off causing her to gasp,
âthe fuck oâhara?!â
âi told you. not interested. beat itâ he downs his red solo cup before scrunching it, licking his lips. âgo find another guy to bangâ
she huffs at that, stomping her feet like a child like her parents refuses to give her candy,
âi mean it. move, i am notââ
ây/n! gloria! you two made it!â
that does it for him. soon as he hears your name falls from beckâs mouth, his gaze never moves quicker. seeing his frat brother by the entrance, greeting gloria with a kiss and youâre standing by gloriaâs side with a small smile,
oh god, you.
who looks absolutely breathtaking tonight. adorned in a pretty pink dress that hugs your curves in the right way, your makeup is light and heâs thankful for that. long thick hair fall against your back, leaving your shoulders exposed,
simple yet look so expensive,
miguel pays no mind to the girl besides him, simply just walking away. he doesnât even bother to acknowledge the people who congratulates him on the win as he strides closer to you,
ây/n y/l/n⌠what a sight for sore eyes it is to see you, muĂąecaâ
a familiar voice saying your name makes your head turn, seeing who it is. the head of fraternity. miguel oâhara,
he has his arms crossed, causing his biceps to bulge a bit, making him look bigger than he already is. you eye the outfit he has on. a black muscle tank and grey sweatpants. chocolate hair tucked into a bright red snapback that he props on backwards,
he shoots you a flirty smirk, walking a little bit closer just enough to create a small gap between the two of you,
âmiguel oâharaâ you speak his name, faking a smile. âsurprised to see you still sticking around here. i thought youâd be by your room already, pleasuring another girlâ
he winces playfully, hand over his heart pretending to be hurt. âouch, muĂąecaâ a small chuckles leaves his mouth as he watches you roll your eyes, âalways with the horrible assumptions. care to play nice this time?â
you glance at him with a scoff. âwe both know thatâs a fact. you always leave with a girl, donât you?â you question, eyebrows furrowing as you tilt your head to the side,
he hums, scanning the room before looking back at you. âfalse. but iâll let you believe what you want to believe, muĂąeca.â
you try to guess if heâs being sarcastic with it or actually telling the truth, and you swear itâs the latter. however, you refuse to fall for it,
âwhat do you want, oâhara?â you sigh, sipping on the beer gloria had offered earlier,
with a chuckle, he leans against the nearest wall, hands shoved into the pockets of his pants. âis it a crime for me to talk to a pretty girl i have a crush on? is there any written policies about that?â
your heart flutters when he calls you pretty. not to mention, a crush?
yeah okay, you do find him extremely attractive and sexy. like, really really sexy. guilty as charged. but who doesnât think so? his dashing smile and seemingly soft hair do make you a little bit crazy. heâs a total heartthrob on campus.
not only is he the vice captain of the football team but heâs one smart student. passes every class, rarely get a score below Bâs. no wonder why teachers are chasing his ass for him to tutor some of the students.
and if thatâs not enough, you know how much he loves to spend his time volunteering at local organizations, doing food kits for donations even providing a cost-free child care around the community,
heâs almostâtoo good to be true.
âiâm flattered, truly. but flirting wonât get you anywhere, mr.â you wag your finger side to side,
âseriously?â
âseriouslyâ
âwowâ he breathes out a sigh, faking a disappointment. âi got to try harder than that thenâ
a giggle leaves your mouth, head shaking. âmy advice? stop trying, oâharaâ
âi canât do that, muĂąecaâ
you tilt your head to the side,. âand whyâs that?â
âi just told youâ
âhm. surely there are other girls out there, oâharaâ
âi donât want themâ
âpersistent arenât you?â
âkind ofâ he casually shrugs. âwhy, you donât like it?â
âquite the oppositeâ
âand why is that entertaining to you?â he asks with a smirk,
âi like seeing men desperate. i like seeing them beg for something they know they canât haveâ you bite down onto your lower lip. your respond is not meant to be flirty, but more of like a playful statement.
yet somehow, it triggers something in him. something good.
his eyes flicker down to your mouth, puffing out a deep breath. âshit, youâre making it harder for me nowâ he mumbles, tongue sticking out to wet down his lip,
âharder to what exactly?â
âto not want youâ he replies bluntly, tone changes into a serious one. but it doesnât come off as a lust or desperation,
your smile falters a little when you realize how serious he becomes. swallowing a lump on your throat, fingers digging into the skin of your arms. eyes are now onto his, and you donât quite get why it feels so difficult to just look away,
âmiguel iââ
âshit, i ruined it, didnât i? eres un idiotaâ he curses himself with a grunt shaking his head. hands on his hips âsorry, iâm justâ fuck you look so good right now muĂąeca and thereâs like a million things going through my mind when i look at youââ
âmiguelââ
âobviously iâm not going to tell you because itâs pg-13 all up in hereâ he points at his head. âand i donât want to scare youââ
âmiguelââ
âbut i went past puberty so iâm not some kind of horny teenager thatââ
âmiguel! jesus, shut up!â you finally exclaim, and that does it for him. his movements stop when he hears you yell out his name,
clearing your throat, you regain your posture before setting the beer down on the nearest table,
âlisten iâi just donât know what to say after thatâ you begin with a nervous laugh, tucking a loose hair behind your ear. âyou have a crush on me?â
his bushy brows dip into a frown. âdidnât i make it clear these past few weeks?â
âhuh?â
âi brought you lunch, let you borrowed my favorite pen during class, i even asked your number through gloria but she didnât want to give it to meâ his shoulders slouch in disappointment. âiâve had a crush on you sinceâ I donât know, too long. youâre a tough woman to please, muĂąeca. i give you thatâ
âthatâs only one time! how am i supposed to know that you werenât just looking to hook up?â
âay dios mio! if i wanted to just have sex with you, i would try to get closer with you during a party! which is⌠technically what iâm doing right now butâ thatâs not the point!â he groans, rubbing his hands all over his face in frustrations,
âyou seriously didnât notice the signs?!â
âthose werenât fucking signs, dumbass. try to do more than being subtle, why donât you?!â
âwell itâs hard when you keep dodging me and rolling your eyes everytime i talk to you!â
âhow can i?! when you slept with like half of the sorority girls on campus?!â
âhow many times do i have to tell you that what you hear is not true? i donât know where you got that from but i can assure you that i havenât fucked anyone in months! and the idea of hooking up with random girls doesnât sound appealing to me! want some prove? ask my brothers about that, go on! or ask beck, heâll tell you the truth. that man is prone to never lyingâ
you go quiet. face softening a little,
âwait⌠then what about the girls i saw you walking with after a party?â
âto walk them safely to their cars or their dorm room. thatâs itâ he explains, watching the surprised look on your face.
ânow.. how do you see me?â
you feel terrible for believing all those rumors first before actually knowing itâs confirmed or not. you are taught to never ever judge a book by its cover and you just did,
fuck youâre a terrible person,
âoh..â you mutter softly. âshitâiâm so sorry miguel, I didnât knowâ
âitâs fine, donât worry about itâ
âwhat? no! i was acting like a complete bitch! ugh fuuuuckâ you whine, stomping your heel on the ground as miguel watches in amusement,
âyouâre adorableâ he wanted to say,
âi feel terribleâno, i am actuallyâ you grumble, âhow can i make it up to you?â
a bright smile spreads across his face. âallow me to get to know you throughout the night? no funny business i promiseâ
his eyes are glinting with hope when he looks at you, feeling nervous that you might reject him but heâs not letting you see that,
you mirror his expression, feeling your cheeks warm by his question. âmiguelâiâd love to but⌠no offense, i kinda didnât want to go to your party in the first place, i only went because gloria asked me to and uhm.. i donât know if i wanted to stay, actuallyâitâs not because of you but mainly because my social battery had died even before i got hereâ
âwe donât have to stayâwe can go out. weâll pick a place and go or you can pick, iâm down with whateverâ
with wide eyes, you reply âwhat?â
âyeah. thereâs a good diner i always go to when iâm craving for a good burger or a shawarma truck down the street. they donât have tables and everything but we can order and eat in my car.â
âunless you have better options, itâs coolâ he adds
you try to ignore the butterflies in your stomach but itâs hard not to when heâs being extremely⌠attentive?
my god, is this actually miguel oâhara? the man whoâs painted to be heartless and a player?
âmig- this is your party. you canât just leaveâ you softly laugh. âwe can catch up another time, i hate to beââ
âitâs fine, muĂąeca. this party is good as it can be without me. besidesâ he reaches into his pocket to grab his keys,
âiâd like to spend time with you.. is that⌠okay?â
heâs being careful with his words, because he doesnât want to scare you off or come off desperate. the last thing he needed was to have you feel repulsed by him,
you give him with a soft smile, looking up at his ruby eyes with your pretty doe ones and from then on, miguel is absolutely sure that heâs in. so fucking in that he knows there is no way out,
itâs not like he wants it any other way
âthatâs okayâ
-
i was going to make her super mean and bitchy but i figured iâd use that for some other time,
also please tell me this doesnât sucked. i hate for this one to flop because i might start to fall in love with these pairings
feel free to send your ideas and thoughts about these two

âď¸đđŽđđ¨đŤđ˘đđĽđŹ! (đđ˘đ§đ đ¨ đđđ˘đđ˘đ¨đ§đş)
So, what do I mean by "Lingo"? and, What IS Lingo
Identify the terminology. What do specific terms mean, and what qualifies as one or the other?
lets take a look at the key terms we will be focusing on today
A) Fic B) Headcannons C) Drabble D) Blurb
What is a 'Fic' also known as fanfiction?
A fic is a story, or sometimes a series, that contains 3 main components. A character, a plot, and a genre or 'tag'. This can also be called an 'x reader' or 'x Y/N'. A fic can be something short, but it should not be under a scroll long. 500 words is not a fic, that is a blurb. Anything under more than a 'page' long should not be considered a fic. 2 Paragraphs is NOT a fic.
Now lets focus on B, Headcannons.
Headcannons are a type of work that conveys your personal beliefs about a character, or how they act. They will usually come in a bulleted list, or written with some dialogue or context to fully convey that heacannon.
Lets not get the game fucked up, headcannons can be WRONG.
While it may be someones personal fun thing, things can be wrong. Headcannons will usually come in a bulleted list, or written with some dialogue or context to fully convey that heacannon.
Now, lets turn our attention to C.
A 'Drabble' is one of the shortest forms of fanfiction
A drabble is a short exerpt that is 100 words or less. While google says it is exactly 100, that is not accurate as of 2023. Drabbles include an exerpt of a story, anything thats short and left on an 'open-note', or anything that crosses that 'headcannon' title, but signficantly shorter than a fic.
And last but not least, D.
Blurbs are the shortest form of writing you can possibly come across in the fanfic world. Google will tell you they are for marketing, this is a lie. A blurb is a small fragment of a story that is usually made out of dialogue and very little description, however everyones blurbs are different. Blurbs aren't stories, but they have the 'buds' or 'seeds' of a plot. Blurbs can be turned INTO stories or be extended.
2. Identify your work before posting it as a certain thing, when its really not.
Getting out of the habit of labeling your work the wrong thing is fairly easy, just count your words everytime you write or look at how its structured.
When writing, Ask yourself!
is my work...
