MC who's job requires them to leave town frequently (like be gone during the week and come back weekends or smth)
Asra: He tries to be gone when MC is gone, though it doesn't always match up, and sometimes they end up missing each other. MC can can tell it kills him when that happens, when they both end up going a couple of weeks without seeing each other, but the reunions are that much sweeter. On times where he doesn't need to be gone and tends to the shop during the week, MC usually ends up returning to a tidy (as can be) shop and a few gifts, followed by a clingy Faust and an Asra whose hovering much more than before, asking questions and offering to make tea as they settle in, as they chat about work, and again before suggesting spending cozy time together before turning in for the night.
Nadia: As Countess of Vesuvia, her weeks are still busy in comparison to MC's new job. If anything, MC's new work schedule that has them leaving the palace during weekdays gives Nadia an oppertunity to focus on her work without any... distractions on site. At least, that's her original reasoning as to why it wouldn't be such a hard thing to adjust to. It takes less than half of a week for her to realize that not having MC in the palace makes her borderline miserable- not that anyone would notice, save for Portia. As soon as MC returns, Nadia makes sure they're not disturbed for the entire weekend, which ends up becoming a ritual of sorts. Every weekend, everyone knows the Countess is not to be disturbed and to refer to all magical queries to other local magicians for the time being.
Julian: Being an adventuring type, there's a high chance he'd actually tag along with the MC to their new job. Not to be their shadow, but to roam the towns they're working in, helping and enjoying himself where he can, and returning when evening came around to spend time with MC once they've finished their duties for the day. But, whenever he stays home and MC comes back on the weekends, Mazelinka makes it a point to tell MC just how pitiful he was as he roamed her tiny house for company. It's a routine thing for him to ghost Portia or Mazelinka's home when MC is gone, more often than not to actually catch up with them, but he'd be lying if he said it wasn't also to keep some pleasant company while his favorite is out of town!
Lucio: Misery consumes this man when MC is gone. It'd be funny if it wasn't combined with slight tantrum! Lucio; he originally spent an entire week trying to convince MC that they don't need to start this job, that he can provide everything needed for both of them so they can stay with him. But, it's something MC has been wanting to do, and he can't bring himself to say no to them. Similarly to Julian, chances are he may actually come with MC to some of their work trips, finding ways to provide help wherever he can. Such as hunting, if the upcoming worktrip turns out to be part of a caravan that travels in the woods, or searching for important things in town that MC might need (as a way to practice how to ask and buy things without expecting too much of a royal treatment in return).
Portia: Whenever MC is gone, Portia is well aquainted with keeping herself busy at her own place of work, but it'd be very hard to lie to those she's close to, such as Julian and Nadia. It doesn't take long for her to say that she misses MC something awful when they're not around, but she's soon back to herself when she realizes she can make things for MC whenever she misses them. So, more often than not, MC returns home on the weekends to a row of gifts, usually handmade goods such as baked treats or attemps at crochet that get better and better each time. In return, MC brings her gifts from their travels, creating a warm, fun hour of gift exchanges as soon as they arrive home in Vesuvia.
Muriel: Hermit's don't thrive on their own for nothing, but it's different when it's your person is the one whose gone away. Muriel has lived in the woods on his own for a long time, it's nothing that bothers him- at least, that's what he says when MC first brings up the job, encouraging them to do something that clearly excites them. But once MC comes back from their first week gone, lanna refuses to leave them alone, and Muriel makes sure they're well fed as he sits and listens to the stories MC has brought back with them. As weeks go by, Muriel starts initiating more physical contact, such as a hand lingering on their back when he moves past them, to the point of asking for a hug now and then. Eventually, he becomes a cuddler in the evenings, asking to hear more stories as he rests his chin on their head or over their chest as they lay down to hear their heartbeat
