When I say I’m yours it’s not just words it’s my bond. If I give you my love, know it’s without a price. I will never take more than I give or ask of more than I deserve. I will be humble when others are proud and gracious when others are rude. Never cruel, misleading, prejudice or judgmental. I am that woman you will always know to have your back. That is what you got when you kissed me and said I love you.

I should have been more kind. That is something a person will never regret. You will never say to yourself when you are old, ‘Ah, I wish I was not good to that person.’ You will never think that.

Many of us worry about being ‘perfect’ which doesn’t exist. We think we’re seeking to be ‘good enough’ but when we keep flogging ourselves about not measuring up, it means we’re actually not even recognising when we’re more than good enough. The person who embraces themselves and doesn’t strive for ideals that don’t exist and is self-forgiving and looking for growth in a positive way, ends up being far happier than the person obsessed with being the ‘perfect version of good enough’, blaming themselves for everything (because they’re all or nothing) and focusing negatively on themselves.
