obsessed with the fact that for the trailer thumbnail they chose to use mike instead of literally anything/anyone else LMAO

aside from it being a shit ending, will is never going to confess to mike and then get rejected because of one big, very important reason;

will is never going to confess to mike. thats it.

theres been no hints that even point to that at all, like will has literally been actively trying to keep mike and el together, will had already accepted he would be rejected if he ever confessed and clearly has zero plans on ever doing so

and you cant even say "oh well maybe mike realises wills feelings and rejects him anyway"
