Discovering Me In Abu Dhabi

We spent this beautiful time together. I have never known this feeling in such great depths. I love you so much it hurts when we're apart. I hate that I've messed up and I pray this doesn't tear us apart. We are in so deep and didn't/don't know how to tell you. This is probably why I can't sleep. I took your choice away and I'm sorry. I wish I could hold you right now. I want to be your forever Me

Well I'm writing all of the things I have yet to say to you. Why? Well because we've only just begun to explore this between us and we've now hit a snag. I've prayed for you and about for almost as long as we've met. You've always been the one for me. I knew it the first time we met. Everytime we drifted out of one another's lives, you managed to take a little bit of me with you. I am thankful for our time apart no matter how painful it was to me. We both needed to grow and become who we are so that we could be better for one another. My heart says that I want to be your Mrs. It's going to be a journey with some struggles such as this (your termination and me trying to find employment and a whole life in a brand new city). But I already admire your resolve to form a plan and not fall apart. I say all of this to say you have my heart whether or not you asked for it or I gave it to you. It just kind of happened. Maybe one day I will let you read this. Right now I have to write to get it out. I want you to know that I'm in this with you even if we aren't formally together. You're my him. Every part of me says that. Screams it really. And although I want bulldoze ahead I recognize that it will take time to nurture what we have. Just FYI if you said hey let's go down to the courthouse and get hitched I'd beat you to the truck. One day I hope to have a place next to munchkin in your heart. Prayerfully. Me.

So this happened. Makes me think how blessed I am to be surrounded by such an awesome group of women who support you and kick you in your pants all at the same time. This is what sisterhood looks like.

So I went to London and I think I saw the whole city in three days with highlight for me being the Lion King. Loved the city.

Wow I've been in Abu Dhabi for 3 years!!! This is the first year I have been here for Eid. (A celebration which marks the end of Hajj for the Islamic religion.) The first year I was hear I had eye surgery. The second year I traveled. This year I did a staycation. Which by far proved to be the best. I had an opportunity to relax in a hotel with no worries during these two days of celebration. Although I was in the city of Abu Dhabi I felt like if was miles away. I feel rested and ready to return to school to impart knowledge to the youth of this country.
