Wow: Scott Doorley is #90 on Fatherly Magazine’s ranking of “100 Coolest Dad in America.” Well-deserved! No. 88 is Johnny Knoxville. No. 89 is Mark Mothersbaugh... confusing nomenclature.

Restarting (with) a classic @ 45°: the quintessential quad in design circles that at some point seemed to shift from David Kolb’s model of experiential learning to Charles Owen’s expression of design behavior. The graphic is shown in similar form for both but the use is fundamentally different: Kolb’s uses a clockwise progression from “concrete” at 12 o’clock position and rotates to observations at 3 o’clock. The rest goes from there. Owen’s treatment uses “analysis” and “synthesis” in place of “reflective observation” and “active experimentation,” respectively. (Neither of those makes sense with the skew shown.)
