Riding home from Standley Lake, Westminster, Colorado

Hiking along the Eastern shore of Standley Lake is a favorite of mine. I've photographed this scene in every season, with a Nikon, a Canon, and a Sony.

Walking along the Farmers High Line Canal in Westminster, I captured this hidden burst of flora tucked into the shadows of the creekside, making a velvety secret world in black and white.

Found this sun-bleached frame resting on the lake shoreline. I wonder what kind of tree it was? How many summers did it enjoy? I wish I knew it's story.
