âNO! Thatâs thing Iâm sensitive about!!â ( from john mulaneyâs ânew in townâ starters // for canon rusty to answer) â @twisted-cb

Rusty jumps a bit before looking down at the ground. "I-I'm sorry.. I just.. didn't know."
He shifts a bit, now feeling a bit guilty for making the caboose feel this way. It would have been better off not to ask at all.
âRiiight. Yeeaah ya didnât...â CB slurred out with a sneer, turning away from Rusty a little. ââCause itâs quite practically on you for not knowinâ about my own..bloody misery ya put me through,â he snapped faintly, crossing his arms, and still not even facing the steamer.Â
"You mean... the races.. or something else?" The young steamer shifts a little bit.
"I-I mean, besides the races... I don't know what else.. at least you weren't left outside to rust..." he mutters the last part.
The red truck scoffed, rolling his eyes with his head thrown back. âPft! Look at you playinâ dumb...âÂ
Rusty scowls, and hisses softly. His amber eyes glow with a hint of anger at the caboose's arrogance. "Well then, so much for me thinking of you as a friend before the races.. I should have known you would have stabbed me in the back.. not the first time it's happened.." he mutters the last part before glaring at the caboose.
A clearly offended CB flips himself around to face the steamer. âI only quote-on-quote âstabbed ya in the backâ within reason!â He retorted, not even wanting to cower before the sudden change in Rustyâs eyes.
Rusty shakes his head. "I trusted you, and to betray me once is all you need to lose it all. You had your chance, and you blew it.."
He surprisingly has a hint of venom in his voice. Smoke billows from his nostrils, and between his teeth.
At the sight of that erupting smoke, the caboose backed away from Rusty, letting out a not-so dramatic coughing fit.
But what did he care if the smoke gave him a somehow hurtful impact, such as what Rusty pulled? The need to spill a more crystal-clear confession for the engine was currently brushed out of the red truckâs mind. Yet on the other hand, never was CB going to back down from getting the general issue heard.
CB groaned out of his own agrivation, before he could say, âExcuse you, steamer...â He stomped a skate to the ground, with two balled fists being forced downward for emphasis. âBut youâre the one that blew it with me! Anâ it wasnât even fair back then, so therefore, itâs your fault!â
Rusty can feel the fire inside him rise as anger bubbles inside him. "It wasn't fair because Greaseball, and Electra wanted to get rid of me in the first place! I could have died!" He snarls. The glow from the fire burning inside him can be seen at the back of his throat.
The smoke turns pitch black, a sign of the fire burning inside him is now a raging inferno.
âItâs simply âcause I used âtah be on their side!â bit back the caboose.
