Rafe couldn’t help but tease the girl, in a friendly manner as the smile stretched a cross his face. And stroked his chin. “But,” his stance changed slightly and eyed her. “You aren’t here for fun and laughs are you? So. What can I do ya for?” 

She hadn’t heard much about Ash’s father. He didn’t even know him that well, since he left when Ash was still very young. The descriptions seemed to match, and he had every resemblance to her boyfriend she could think of. She didn’t know what she would even start to think of asking. 

Ash: Ah yeah! It kinda surprised me but it was nice!

My plan to install an emulator failed, but I realized I bought a cheap Android phone while waiting for my 7 Plus to ship (turned in my 6s Plus too early)

My stance on this will be the following: Dawn is fully aware of the kiss and that it happened. (still haven’t watched it, just seen gifs. We’re not entirely sure what kiss it was but it’s enough to be a big deal) It’s not an ideal situation. I know I hate love triangles, but this just seems to be a trope nowadays. However it’s not really all that negative, as Ash and Dawn were not dating at the time. That comes after the events of the finale.

It does involve a choice on Ash’s part, and Dawn is too focused on her coordinating career to worry about it. She tells him to make the decision he feels is best for him, and not take her feelings into account, and that she will respect it, whatever the outcome.

In the end Dawn is Ash’s choice, and things continue as they did previously. 

but i’m still slightly bitter that pearl happened when it did, because it was still too risky for them to try something like this

However a single kiss =/= automatically mean a relationship. It’s a reciprocation of feelings, yes. But we still don’t know what the future holds
