finally some good news on this bad news day

Can someone from the Pokemon fandom explain this, I don’t understand nurse Joy’s reaction.

Ho-oh is basically a minor deity, so nurse joy pretty much just heard this ten year old say “i threw a rat at a god.”

I’m forced to agree. Forcing you to have a specific type to challenge the gym is one of the dumbest things they’ve ever done.

I hate taking part in Pokemon discussion on serebii or twitter cause I always think that I can just post my idea or thought and move on but someone always has to come in like “Uh, ACTUALLY” or with some useless blanket statement like “that doesn’t make sense” and I have to either go back and try and explain myself further or start memeing it up if they were rude cause I have to both educate the kids and have the last word. Like I’d say “Hey, maybe Satoshi’s Rock-Z will evolve into Lugarugan-Z mid battle, that’d be cool character wise since it’d mean that the Z-crystal he earned with Iwanko evolved together WITH Iwanko, and otherwise the Rock-Z will have served no real purpose anywhere making the Lychee battle feel kind of wasted”. And all I get told is “Only Pikachu’s crystal evolves cause it’s exclusive to him, Lugarugan-Z isn’t special in the games, Dusk Lugarugan isn’t Gekkouga2.0, just because you say it could happen doesn’t mean it will″ over and over again. Or, “Pikachu learning a new move against Mimikyu is cool cause it means Team Rocket were worthy opponents who forced Pikachu to improve” and someone’s just like “That doesn’t make sense”. I HATE NERDS.

Certain posters on Serebii anime section are fucking cancer. Not to mention people on twitter who STILL apply levels to anime.
