Having fun giving myself and my friend assignments. This assignment was "Deer skull with high fantasy twist." I originally waned to have a dragon writhing around the antlers, but the skull was so hard and it's been so long since I flexed my art muscles (literally, not just figuratively since I've been sketching- I'm so sore) that I just decided: let's make it a sword hilt! That's what high fantasy is for anyway, it doesn't have to make sense! Maybe I'll revisit this!

I have so many mixed feelings
Because I am literally soooooo happy that y'all who have donated have, indeed, donated. And I'm also dealing with the conflicting emotions that they're donations, and I don't have to do anything. Like my one friend donated and I was LIKE OMG LET ME DRAW THING FOR YOU, and she said, "NO FRIEND IS GIFT, THAT IS WHAT GIFTS ARE" and I just wanted to roll around in feels. I mean, I have given money to people and absolutely did not want or need anything in return, so I've been on that end.
But I also come from the upbringing of earning everything and not accepting/feeling guilty/ashamed for supposed "hand outs" and like... I've just got to learn to accept gifts.

The Motivation:
My horse, the animal who has been a therapeutic life-saving companion and kept me alive thru being my absolute rock when I had no other reason to be here. I am taking over her board, and where as I already manage her extra care, and her vet fees are taken care of, it's the board itself that takes precedence in both cost and immediate need. Board is just over 5k (USD) a year, and my current goal is to get at least 3,000 of that and take care of the rest as I can. I'm sourcing a lot of different ways to reach my ultimate goal, and this (asking for donations, offering discounted commissions) is one of the ways in which I'm earning and bringing in income for her board.

A loose sketch of a subject of your choice. This means a character (animal or human) and their accompanying wardrobe or tack, if applicable, and a minimal background to serve as a color theme.
