A Damsel, but not the Distressed Kind

This is my world. I was blessed with the family God gave me. He didn't give them to me without their faults but they are perfect in every which way. I have a mother who gives me everything and anything I could ever need. She takes the time to listen, to understand, to love and to nurture. I have a father who has worked his entire life without complaint so that I can have anything my heart desired and so my life could be better than he could've imagined. I was blessed with a sister who is not only both beautiful and intelligent but brave and the greatest role model in this world. She is the strongest person I know and has taught me about life and how to endure what seems impossible. To be anything like her is what I strive for daily. "God smiles on my little brother, inside and out he's better than I am" my little brother has taught me what a man is, despite being younger. He's loving, wise, hilarious but above all, he is the good in this world and in this life. My entire family is my life. Cherish yours through everything, thank God and the universe for what you have.
