Yeah man. Next time you talk about me, please tag or reblog me so I can see it and respond. I want everybody to come to the best possible conclusion themselves, and to see all the perspectives on an issue. But that can't happen if I don't get the chance to respond!
Just so you know. While you didn't call me a proshipper, there was the insinuation that being a proshipper was a good thing. Proshipping is just the act of letting people ship whatever they want to ship, which I don't abide by. It is very important that we are restrictive with what themes we support, even if it's only in a sexual manner such as in shipping.
On a side note... I'm not angry or anything, so I'm surprised three seperate people got so mad. The other two rebloggers mentioned how I "hate children" despite the fact that I pushed for nothing but their safety online in saying they don't belong in the adult spaces of this fandom, and talking to adults online. And that includes AO3.
I understand that this fandom has kids in it. But I joined this fandom before 99% of the remaining fandom, and I have seen first hand the quality drop of fan content. I did not choose to be in a space with kids in it like Bluey adults, kids chose to come into a space made for older teens and young adults. Colorquest is not a childrens' story, as much as it resonates with its younger audiences.
If you're gonna use this account in the future, funnily enough, I think you should sit on what you have to say for a few days before posting it. Much alike the people who post unrevised fics, your unrevised opinion is frail when it's full of fallacies and what reads to be rage on your part. A different person might not have the same aim as me to share their opinions in a lighthearted way, and might go overboard with the aggression in response. I don't want you to suffer harassment from other people if you use this account to rant about them, you know? I respect your enthusiasm for justice and equality, and it shouldn't be diminished or censored. But you need a level of elegance to be respected by most people.
As for people wanting to write their own fics, you can access spellcheck resources through Google Docs (free, available offline), Microsoft Word (many people's get it for free as part of their school account, available offline), Ellipsus (free, I use this one, only sometimes available offline), your friends (free, but unreliable), most notes apps coke with spellcheck, but no grammar check (free, unreliable, offline access). Pick up a dictionary or thesaurus once in a while, and maybe you'll learn something new. For the actual content of how to write the scenes and characters, there are lots of youtubers that help with that, such as Bookfox. When you post on AO3, you post for the community. If you WANT the best for your community, you'll PROVIDE the best for your community.
