ive talked about him briefly before,, but i figured i say it all again because legiterally whos gonna stop me. heh..

adams involvement in mw begins after hes brought into shadow company by the very strong suggestion of one general shepherd. offically, the reason is a sort of show of good will and a means to establish a connection,, and adam was chosen because his prior experience in working with graves back when they were marines. though unbeknownst to him hes also serving as eyes on the inside so to say? letting them peek into the inner workings of shadow company in the case that say a contengency plan is needed,, also helps in reassuring shepherd that graves is doing what he was paid to do instead of,,,, whatever else

despite him existing for like two years now i have yet to. really figure out his position in the company (because of his unique situation) but i can. offer bullet points

hes a sergent major,, worked in marsoc before transfering

primarily does recon,, or something akin to it??

pretty damn good marksman. also good with other guns

he wasnt present for the ordeal at las almas (heh,, hes in for a not so pleasant surprise)

adam is also pretty morally driven. wants to be a good guy and all,, and since he was raised in a smaller town in texas with good ol propaganda, he joins the marines both due to a faint sense of obligation and the desire to do good. and while he does see a slightly harsher reality, being in shadow company (a pmc which as morally grey as it gets) really does. get to him? because he wants to be a good person so bad,, almost desperately (but thats for another day),, and its just. is he really still a good person now? was he ever?

therell be some issues later on when the trial comes about and both he and graves learn about stuff. and yay big feelings my favorite !!! but everything all works out,,, and also yaoi happens #phillipadam real and true !!!!

SO !! CURRENT NOTES !!!!

For Viorel his stuff doesn't deviate too much from corpo lifepath stuff,,, only that instead of talking with Jackie and getting got in Lizzie's Bar,, he has a small (probably three person) team in counterintel to do the hit on Abernathy. Like in canon, the plan is discovered eventually because someone ratted (unsure who) and Viorel is taken out before the job can be finished. Of course, instead of just dying, he's soulkilled and engramed as a means to discover details of the job.

Johnny is a lot harder to figure out because I can't see him doing the heist, and I certainly can't fathom him ever willingly putting a piece of experimental Arasaka technology in his head. The only working idea I have so far is that,, on an attack on Arasaka tower, Johnny is cornered, somehow has access to the relic, and as a last "fuck you" to Arasaka, decides to force them to destroy him and their expensive super secret project. This isn't super set in stone? Because I'm still working out details, but it's the best I got so far.

They'd clash,, so much because of very apparent points of conflict which boil down to:

Viorel, his employment, and general life spent within corpo spaces

Johnny Silverhand being himself and his self-destructive tendancies

Other than the basics, there's a spin-off of this AU which involve my friends' characters Virgil (by @tw1nkee28) and Valor (by Jasper) and their Little Guys AU,,, where they meet as teenagers and situation their way into a relationship :)

Valor and Virgi take the place of Rogue and Kerry respectively,, though modified in Valor's case !! Twinkee actually drew Swap AU Virgil,, so you should check that out,, he's so beautiful,,,,,,,,
