It's a public secret

I tried to sleep in the train, but mostly  I just felt uncomfortable and more tired when I stepped out at my station. But as I walked down towards the main street, a familiar shape went into a taxi and when he noticed me; his face shone brightly as he wawed a silent hello, but his taxi was already leaving and ironically we met only for seconds when we had seemingly sat for hours in the same train. Unaware of each other. 

I didn’t get far before my phone vibrated ”It was nice to see you ” and we talked for a while trough messages. I admit I felt relieved we hadn’t met at the platform before the train departed because I’d been so tired in the morning that I could never have made him as happy in person as he seemed to be of just seeing me.
