Another clip of Cary Grant in Bringing Up Baby (1938). This was actually one of the earliest uses of the word gay in reference to homosexuality in cinema.

Lauren Bacall in "How to Marry a Millionaire" 1953
Of course Ms Schatze Page would wear a green dress on her date with the oil company guy, what else could better represent a dollar bill than a green dress? Also Lauren rocks in green, it's a shame we don't see her using it very often but when she wears it's a scandal!
I personally love the contrast of the tight waist and the loose top off shoulder with the roses in the middle also the long skirt movements makes it look like she's hovering around.
A true treasure, certainly iconic.
The wonderful Marilyn Monroe, the iconic Betty Grable and the amazing Lauren Bacall 🌹
