[text] You are braver than I am. All this press and work, blergh! Couldn't be me. I know there will be some coming soon I'm already dreading it. You know I will never say no to you, but please do not feel obligated. I know you're busy and popular -rightfully so-.

won't lie, i can't remember the last time i heard anything about postcards or pen pals. i think the last time i received one was when my parents went away on vacation back when i was a kid, which also makes me feel old as fuck. but i don't think any of us get excited about mail these days, so you may be onto something.

And here lies the problem. people dont even remember what it felt like. I mean, getting a delivery is fun but you know it's coming most of the time because, you know, you bought it first. Getting pen pals letters and all is just a fun surprise. You dont get that from emails either, you know. They're so.... formal.

Right?! That's part of it, the fact you know someone put their care and attention into making this little message for you. You can decorate them, put little surprises in the envelope. I don't have the business acumen to start it but I am all in. In this day an age, I think lots of people would join us, get off the grid a little.
