Everything will be providedβ¦
Finally after a long spell where the dreams didnβt persist in to my waking memory, I have one. Not a long one but thatβs makes me wonder. Really wonder.
Where it starts, Iβm out repairing something. Making it work again. What? I donβt know and I donβt think what it was really matters. Where? I wasnβt at home, I was out in a car or pickup in an urban environment, residental, small businesses, empty fields. Buildings arenβt crowded and the traffic is lighter than normal.
The next part or this dream starts where Iβm standing in the living room of a single wide (14Γ70) house trailer or mobile home looking up at the deteriorating ceiling. I remember saying βthis will be ok, I can put new sheet rock up once we are there.β
Part 3, Iβm standing in a small empty bedroom of a home repairing a wall mounted heater. It was an older style heater not the plain sheet metal stuff they sell now. I just gone done and had gotten up off of my knees. The house was in a rural environment with shade trees outside the window that made the room dark, but not so dark I couldnβt work on the heater.
Yes, the dream skips around a lot, I didnβt write it, just dreamt it.
Part 4, Iβm loading items into my car and this is where I hear from my wife, βdonβt worry about it, everything will be provided once we get thereβ. I canβt explain where βthereβ is. Everyone in this dream knows, that everyone is going somewhere, βthereβ, but no one is talking about it, or seems concerned or worried. Like it will be a short drive to the countryside.
Last items are loaded, I go back to the house and open the side door and say to myself, βIβll just leave this door openβ, knowing I wonβt be back to close it or even to go into the house again. Beau, my dog comes out as he would rather be outside than in. My wife is driving and I climb in (which is odd as she seldom wants to drive), she backs out of the driveway and heads down the street. I then realize we forgot to load my dog, Beau. I turn around in my seat to look for to see if he followed us. I did not see him. There were no other cars on the road.

This is where the dream ends as I wake up. My dog is next to the bed looking at me, waiting for me to take him outside.
Now comes the wondering part. Where is everyone going? Why arenβt people talking about it? Why were there so few cars on the roads? Why did I repair things to get them working if no one was going to be around to use them? Why am I not concerned that Iβm not going to go back to my home. Is this the rapture? The end of the world? Are we going to be teleported to another dimension?
Where is everyone going?
There are no airports around. In my dream my house is close to a furniture store, a gas station and a cemetery. There are other houses around and a few people packing those last minute items. But there is no traffic, no parked cars, no abandoned cars. As if in one of those Twilight Zone movies.
If Iβm going to go somewhere, I want to take some tools. A laptop, you know, the things you use everyday here. The house in my dream is not the house I live in. Same for the car. Just my wife and dog. It makes me wonder now where my daughterβs were at.
Iβm re-blogging this.Β My wife passed away 3 weeks ago.Β Now that I re-read this, I wonder if this dream is telling of the future.
