while ishigaki wasnât the kind of girl that was heavily into anime, she still liked the mainstream ones that a lot of people watched as children. it was weird to be into such cheesy, childish things in highschool â most people would tease others for it, but she kept this secret locked up tight. anything that she wore to school wanât allowed to have any form of anime merchandise on it, nor was she allowed to be caught borrowing drama cds off of her other ( closet nerd ) friends. she wasnât one to judge people for these sort of things, but she was also the type of girl that already had her wedding planned out years in advance. she absolutely could not let her silly hobbies make her look foolish enough that no man would want to date her. ishigaki did her best to seem bubbly & kind when around her classmates, while in private she could ramble on like a total dork about the shows she liked.Â
walking through the electronics section of a local store, she was on a search for a new pair of headphones to replace the ones that she misplaced. though ⊠while she was passing by the tvs, she heard and oddly familiar theme song playing in the background â â Shiny Make up èŒăă æç©șăéăăŠăă è·ăăăă ăăź ăćŒ±ăććšăăăȘăă ă ăă Shiny Make up æŠăă æç©șăè·ăŁăŠâ. looking over to the tvs, she immediately recognized the song â a bright smile overtaking her features as she finished off the rest of the lyrics along with the song. âæ°ăăäŒèȘŹă ä»ăăăăć§ăŸă La La Pretty Guardian SAILOR MOON.â jokingly, she held a peace sign in front of her eyes and winked, mimicking the pose that the heroine did. though, once she did so, a figure caught the corner of her eye & she immediately froze up. ishigakiâs head turned slowly in horror to see one of her classmates staring directly at her.Â
it wasnât someone that she knew very well, but familiar enough that she knew he was from her homeroom. she could have sworn she heard a shattering sound, probably from her heart. quickly, she composed herself, using her hands to pat down her skirt, then to brush a strand of hair behind her ear nervously. âif you could forget you saw that, please do.â she said in a small voice, immediately turning her back to him.Â
It had been a tedious few months ever since he finished middle school and moved on to high school; his only friend -- Yamaguchi -- was still in middle school, in his graduating year, therefore it had been quite lonely, even for the taste of a gloomy loner such as himself. There were various people in his classroom, and some of them nudged him to join clubs: volleyball (which he did in middle school and really did not connect any fond memories to it), basketball (everyone was impressed by his height, but he really could not care less), literature (somehow, people presumed he was into lyricism or poems due to his rather dark aura surrounding him...) even the bicycle club -- which he deemed the most interesting out of them all, however, he felt really uncomfortable going there by himself without any backup (or friend) who would make it less awkward for him to be pressured into talking to new people. Despite the possibilities offered, Akihisa kept to himself and decided that heâd rather join cram school to boost his grades than socialise with fellow students after school. It was also a good excuse for whenever people randomly would ask him to join a social get-together. âOh, sorry, Iâve got cram school. See ya.â ---- Nobody would take offence, in fact, people would see how it suited such a stoic and serious looking boy to be very diligent about his future and the outcome of his grades. When in fact, it was just his way of wasting time efficiently.
Today was just one of these days: after he finished cram school, he couldâve just taken the train or bus home, really. But it was also Yamaguchiâs birthday inching closer and closer -- it would not hurt to go to the store and see what he could get his friend, right? At least, he would be prepared and could ask his mother to wrap the present neatly, so it would not look clumsy and poorly-executed, or worse -- rushed even. Thatâs the last thing he wanted to make it seem like -- that he had forgotten Noriyukiâs special day of the year.Â
While he walked down the streets and headed for a nearby store, he was processing some thoughts -- perhaps a CD? Or a DVD? Surely, they had similar taste in music and movies, so Tsuji would be more confident picking one of these out for his friend. Passing people as he entered the store, he headed towards the electronics department, passing a wall of TVs -- advertisements airing here and there to make customers buy unnecessary goods and whatnot -- but he was not paying any attention, really. As he scanned the CDs for certain bands and musicians, completely concentrated, he was taken off-guard by the voice of a girl next to him starting to sing and hum to one of the advertisements on the TVs.
Akihisa turned to glance at her and caught her mid-posing to one of those anime figures -- anyone knew Sailor Moon, even if he was not a fan of it himself, anyone in Japan knew this iconic manga/anime series. Though, not everyone was openly displaying their otaku-self like that in public.Â
And it was even more so a shocker when he realised that it had been one of the girls that went to the same class as him.
Staring at her with blank confusion, blinking a few times, he recognised her for one of the more popular girls -- Ishigaki, right? He forgot her given name, but alas he was not that close to her to even bother remembering, let alone asking. She never seemed the type to be into geeky hobbies, she more so suited that obnoxious brunet who probably used more hair products and make-up than any of the girls (probably even needing to wear a bra himself due to his weight), while Tsuji probably fit more into the geeky part of the classmates, though even otakus avoided him for being âtall, gloomy and creepyâ. It was both a gift and a curse to radiate off such an intimidating vibe which he clearly inherited from his father.
As she spoke up to him and decided to turn away (probably in shame), Tsuji did the same, turning his head away, proceeding to look for the CD he needed. âOh man, that seems to be really pressing information Iâve gathered, huh? A popular girl being an actual otaku in secret. Mhm... it almost sounds like a reverse-Sailor Moon scenario though... Usagi being otaku during the day and a popular heroine by night.â Merely teasing her now, he wouldnât care to actually blackmail about her hobbies ---- he himself had obscure interests too, beetle collecting, tarantulas and ants, any creepy crawlers really -- let alone the hobbies that were adult-oriented. He was clearly in no position to judge her. âPeople will always judge you for your hobbies and interests. No need to judge yourself for it.â He added in a more serious tone, not really considering that she wanted a conversation or meant to keep it up; after all, he was at the far-end spectrum of their school hierarchy, his only intention was to show her that he was making (rather sinister) jokes beforehand about the blackmailing and such.Â

Eccentric hobbies were Tsujiâs thing; while others preferred to either go to the gym, do something creative or read books in their free time, the tall male just was a thrill seeker. Visiting abandoned (and most likely so-called âhauntedâ) places were not only on his bucket list, but most of them in his vicinity had already been explored.Â
Recently, he took it upon himself to go to a specific place that was known for satanic rituals taking place there, though he didnât give it any second thoughts: he mostly deemed it to be telltales told by teenagers to scare each other, or simply deeds done by teenagers themselves, setting up a good old ouija board in the middle of an abandoned, worn down building, perhaps opening portals to the afterlife like that, but thatâs about it. Akihisa rarely encountered actual satanic rituals taking place -- and even so, most of the supposed rituals were not done accordingly and thus not as powerful as they couldâve been. However, he may have been wrong about that one specific building.
Admittedly, at first, he thought that he was being paranoid; seeing shadows in the corner of his eyes, hearing sounds, movements, even feeling a cold presence sometimes around him -- it was a strong vibe he was getting, much stronger than any of the âhauntingsâ he had witnessed at these places he had visited, but what unsettled him was the thought that something actually followed him home. And usually said something would not be a haunting, a ghost stuck in a loop or residual energy from those who passed away. In the professional term, it most likely would be an inhuman manifestation (or demon in the broad term). As little as he was taking the teenage-local-âsatanistsâ seriously, he had to admit not only to himself but to pure logic that this was an oddity that he could not ignore just like that.
And most certainly not at this very moment.
He woke up in the middle of the night, soaked in sweat from night terrors, the first thing he saw bent over him from between the head of his bed and the wall was a dark shadow, looming over him, staring at him curiously. Thatâs when Tsuji knew he no longer could ignore that kind of stuff.Â
Instead of being terrified or scared, he was more so annoyed by the fact that he had woken up, losing sleep over nothing -- instead of being frightened by that shadow slowly shifting into a more humanoid presence, yet still obviously inhuman with its features and such, he blinked half-asleep at the presence, grumbling lowly âThe hell youâre bothering me for? I didnât even summon you. Lemme sleep.â before he turned to the side and pulled his blanket over his head in order to make it loud and clear how displeased he felt about the interruption. One could only be astonished by the way he handled such a freaky situation...
ishiyxn:
he didnât mean to sound as if he was angered by the other â he wouldnât have been shocked if it was true. maybe, tsuji didnât like the side - effects that came with being in a gay relationship; the teasing, the stares, etc. if the other really wished that he wasnât a boy, he couldnât bring himself to be angry ⊠he would understand. while they loved each other, society made it more difficult than ever for them â especially as athletes.Â
âif it was meant to be a compliment, then i will take it as one.â he assured tsuji with a smile.
Blinking up from his sulky state, he stared at Ishigakiâs face for a moment; despite his smile, he could tell that it was not his true feelings displayed right then and there. Twitching his mouth a little, Akihisa couldnât help but feel as if he had to hold back tears. Koutarou was always quick to forgive and forget, always out to make the best of a situation, no matter how sad or hurtful. Surely, it was not the smoothest compliment he couldâve given, but the taller of the two meant no harm whatsoever. Moving closer, he reached out to hold Ishigakiâs hand into his and moving it up to his face, placing a gentle kiss to the back of his hand, keeping it in place as if he was inhaling the manâs scent though he just meant to calm himself down quicker.
âIâm sorry, I really didnât phrase it correctly...â Mumbling against his skin, he pressed more kisses against his hand, turning to now spread the same affectionate displays onto the manâs palm, rubbing his cheek against it eventually. âI just meant that I could imagine you just as stunning as a woman as you are now. You know... youâre really a handsome guy, Ishiyan. Iâm just a boney skeleton, as a girl, Iâd look something like Kayako or Samara from horror movies, hah... but you know... no matter if you were a girl or if youâre a guy, Iâd still find you just as attractive, inside and out. Donât forget that.â
continued / @ishiyxn
when tsuji sat on the floor in front of him, he put his head at a perfect height for ishigaki to toy with his hair. normally, the smaller would have to reach up quite a bit to get a reach at the otherâs hair, but sitting in this fashion made him able to toy with his hair with ease. he started off only touching a few strands, so lightly that he was almost positive that the other couldnât even feel it. but as time went on, heâd gotten more brave â burying the length of his fingers in dark brown locks.Â
of course, he was quick to note the other tensing up as he began to openly toy with the otherâs hair. ishigaki knew just how the other could get nervous over silly little affections such as this. instead of stopping, he moved at a soft rhythmic pace, as if he were petting an animal rather than a man. with such soothing gestures, he aimed at relaxing the man into it, rather than just stopping at the smallest sign of discomfort. when tsuji spoke up, it was not a request for him to stop the gesture â it was a joke about how he was touching the other as if he were a puppy. smiling, ishigaki laughed. it was an interesting way to look at it, but if joking around about the whole situation is what made it less awkward, he would joke around till the other was sick of him.
âăŻăăăŻă youâre a cute little lap dog. you deserves pets for being the goodest boy.â he teased, not once pausing in his affectionate gestures.Â
Without a doubt, Koutarouâs intentions were more than successful; the repetitive movements as if the smaller was petting a pet instead of a human, it did soothe the gloomy kid. While he kept his eyes closed, Tsuji was barely even paying attention to the TV or the movie that was playing, he even forgot about his bowl of ramen that was semi-eaten, unconsciously tending his head closer and closer to Ishigakiâs hand. One thing he had gotten wrong however -- Akihisa did take note of the subtle touches to his hair. If anything, he had a high sensory on whenever his body was being touched. It was simply a result of the fact that he hardly had gotten any physical contact with anyone, really. Despite his nickname given by the blond of their team, Akihisa lived the life of a social recluse. Thus, the climber really only could rely on his friends getting close and closer to him. A few coy touches to his hair, brushing against it as weightlessly as a feather, it was still noticeable by the tall man. And even more so now that the contact was supposed to be noticed.
A grin appearing on his face when the smaller returned the joke just as light-heartedly and playful as he himself did; it was really easy-going to be near Koutarouâs presence. He couldnât make anyone feel uncomfortable, the man just had a talent to turn everything cosy and pleasant, perhaps he should be working at a spa or something... no, he couldnât suggest that; perhaps that kind of joke would not be deemed funny or hilarious by the greaser.Â
âAm I not a little bit too big for a lap dog?â Chuckling in the depth of his throat, he leaned his head back eventually to place it onto Ishiyanâs lap (ironically), there was no sign of tension anymore on both his body language and facial expressions ---- he clearly was enjoying himself. âMaybe youâre just a good masseuse?â
ăăăăăłăăłăăŒ 4 & 6
ishiyxn:
of course, ishigaki tried to hold the peace between the people on their team - - not because he wanted to, but because if he didnât who else would? it was like a broken family & he was the counselor trying to stitch it back together, except with each stitch he made, the fabric only tore more. the more that he tried to fix with midousuji, the more his relationship with tsuji suffered & vice versa. he was fighting a battle that he truly couldnât win. if he defended tsuji, midousuji was angry â if he defended midousuji, tsuji was angry. then mizuta was just in the middle of it all, not helping a single bit.Â
taking a serious tone at the otherâs accusations, ishigaki was offended that he would ever insinuate that he was saying that it was alright for midousuji to tease anyone. âi am not saying that is what is ok. actually, it really upsets me that you would paint me as that kind of person, i thought you knew me better than that, akihisa.â when his back was turned, not paying him any mind, it only irritated the ex - captain even more. it frustrated him to have to deal with any of this ⊠he didnât want to say it out loud, or hint it at all, but sometime he honestly considered quitting the team. he couldnât â because that would be giving up & running away like a fool. though, sometimes the easy way out was just so tempting.
It was true -- the team was like a broken family... shattered into pieces and unable to be mended again. Frankly, he didnât know how to even. Or why he should attempt to... just... why? He was this close to graduating and leaving this all behind. And as much as he wanted to say that he kept friends from high school and wouldnât feel the same loner as he did previously, it was the hard truth. Facts.
While Yamaguchi had to keep up with Midousujiâs ordeal for one more year and Mizuta was practically kissing up to that manâs ass for attention purpose -- so, he was left with Ihara and Ishigaki... and as much as he wanted to say that he meant to stick around with Koutarou, it just felt like that their friendship suffered severely thanks to their new ace. Ihara on the other hand, he kept his joking nature (thankfully so, at least someone whoâd brighten the mood). And that had probably been the reason why Akihisa was more drawn towards the brunet recently and had been talking more often to him than to Ishigaki. It was not an attempt to upset the ex-captain, not at all ---- if anything, he just... wanted him to wake up from that nightmare.
A scoffing laugh emitted from his throat as he looked at the other, blinking. âOh, it really upsets you when I paint you like that, huh? Youâre not giving me much to go by, Koutarou.â It was frustrating, it was infuriating!! Surely, he knew that Ishiyan was not that type of person but... everyone seemed to change ever since Akira joined the team... it was like a curse looming over them, waiting for their demise. It hurt him... so bad. âNever heard you say anything like that to him. âHey, be nice to Nobu. Hey, be nice to Yama. Hey, be nice to Akihisa.â -- it really must be hard for you to defend those who deserve to be defended. And if I stand alone against him, then so be it. But donât you dare to stand in the way and tell me to âbe niceâ when I slap that brat across the face and tell him to step down towards his senpais. Someone has to teach him manners.â
Perhaps it was unjust to put him into that position ---- but it was just how he felt. Yet, they had similarities still. If there was one thing that Tsuji wanted to do so bad it was quitting. But he knew that he had a job to be done... as the only climber on the team, he had to carry them one way or another. This was not for the sake of Midousuji, no, if it was up to him, heâd leave that bastard stranded and watch him hurt himself with his selfish attitude... but he felt responsible for those who deserve his kindness... at this moment, it had been all of Yama, Ihara and Nobu. Koutarou had been out of the picture simply because it had broken Akihisaâs heart more than just once to see him defend that worthless ace of theirs.

fight me @tsxji
âkeep callinâ me cute & people are gunna start thinking that you have the hots for me.â he teased, sticking his tongue out between taunt cheeks. it hurt when the other pinched at his cheeks, but nothing unbearable that he would ever destroy his pride over. this man certainly couldnât have meant that much harm after all â he was someone from ishigakiâs half of the gang, as if he & midousuji actually shared it. it was more like ⊠he was a man that ishigaki had more INFLUENCE over. when it came to the greaser - esque man, many people held respect. that alone made him trust tsuji more than any of the lizardâs zakus.Â
âis there something going on that youâre out here?â switching quickly, he was fine with just talking to the man as if they were truly allies â which, minus midousuji in the picture, they essentially were. usually, tsuji was a sign of bad news â almost like a grim reaper. if he was around there must have really been something going down.Â
Of course, it would be hard to tell when Tsuji was joking and when he was serious -- simply because he almost always looked dead serious...! Though it was rather a laugh to have the other play along, smirking at him. âHavenât you heard from Nobu that I âget aroundâ -- he even picked my theme song because he was so butthurt about it.â Surely, he wasnât having the so-called âhotsâ for Naruko -- he merely respected the man for what he achieved. But there was no way around Akihisaâs playful and friendly banter, really. Once someone got to know him better, theyâd understand his type of personality.
Shoukichi was not wrong with the image he held for the tall male; him and Yamaguchi were somewhat the grim repears... it was not helping that they were assigned the numbers â4âČ and â6âČ... both very evil and vicious numbers if you looked at them religiously and culturally. While Noriyuki had gotten the mark of the number 4 (which was rather unlucky, really, but in some way also really fitting for the freckled male), Tsuji had been called hitman # 6. In a way, Yama on the other hand admired him for that ---- with his love for the occult, for satan and demonic stuff, it was no surprise that heâd be all into that number, but Akihisa was happy not to carry the unlucky 4, and being superstitious as he was, heâd rather not switch.
Shrugging lamely, he looked a different direction as he sighed. âActually, I am simply enjoying solitude for a while. Itâs been rather loud at the base and I really wanted to get out. And I know, itâs against Midousujiâs norm. But I donât even give a fuck about it.â Keeping his mouth-piece in place so nobody could actually recognise him except for the redhead before him, he gulped hard. âUnless you wanted me to tell you that your time has come and I am here to take you to the afterlife.â Chuckling then, it was just... Tsujiâs weird kind of humour. But he hoped that the other understood. âEither way, are you free? Maybe we can catch a drink together? Iâd prefer that over going back and actually kill someone... preferably Midousuji. What do you think, huh?â

noobuyuki:
when tsuji called him into his office, nobuyuki assumed that this was purely on business. he was going to be given another sad, closeted gay man to fuck & he had to do it whether he wanted to or not â because it was his job. he couldnât be entirely ungrateful for what he had, considering that he couldnât see himself doing anything else ⊠but it was so hard to work around as tsujiâs whore, when that title was hardly working the way that he wanted it to. he was lucky enough to be called the manâs favorite, but he wasnât lucky enough to be his personal whore. he wasnât expecting to have such an easy life where his only work was for the man that he liked ⊠but he did have the funds to do so â to put it blunt, tsuji made a fuck ton of money. enough that he could easily pay for mizutaâs bills, while the other still did his work â just in a much different way. heâd jokingly mentioned the idea to his boss a few times, but the blonde was often laughed off. as long as he didnât get upset like he was actually serious about the idea, then hopefully the other wouldnât realize how much it hurt his feelings to not be considered.Â
it was beyond mizuta to knock before entering the office, instead he opened the door as if he owned the place. it wasnât like tsuji would care â he was expecting the blonde in the chair across from him almost ten minutes ago, so it would hopefully make up for some lost time. curling up in the big leather chair opposite of the manâs desk, he searched the otherâs face for some sort of explanation as to why he would have been brought in.
âitâs for a job, isnât it?â of course, he was expecting the man to give him details & a time, with a threat that he had to actually show up or else he was getting kicked to the curb.
As the other entered and made himself at home (quite literally) and took a seat in the leather chair, he tended his head slightly to the side, pondering if Mizuta had any idea -- the boy was hardly intelligent enough to catch up like that, or so the lanky male thought. But perhaps he was underestimating that manâs brain power. Either way, he seemed bemused about Tsujiâs question and thus causing him to chuckle airily, standing up from his own leather chair as he gestured lamely with his hand, moving over to walk to the window that was behind his own chair, looking out to the night. âJob.â Akihisa repeated; thatâs all it is to the guy -- a job. A duty, a task. For Tsuji, however, this was a lifeâs work. He had to put his blood, sweat and passion into it in order for his boss to acknowledge and admire him so much that he was no longer a little tag-along who had to do what he was told to -- now he was someone with a leading position, a force to be reckoned with... and yet that black-haired wimp was trying to avoid the elephant in the room, trying to make it comfortable for himself ---- what a pest.
âIs this what you think it all is to you -- a job?â Turning around to look at the smaller, his eyes narrowed a little, though trying not to yell; he was not Arakita after all, he had to keep his posture, his composure, he had to look like a proper businessman, not like some kind of hitman... âTo be frank: no, I did not call you for another job. And thatâs the problem we have to face, Mizuta.â Referring to the other by his family name, he wanted to mark the seriousness of the situation, approaching the smaller as he leaned over him, grabbing the man by his shoulder and pressing him into the leather chair violently, digging his fingers into his skin as he shook him.
âI am losing money because everyone else has to pull you along with your slacking attitude!!! I am no longer accepting this behaviour!!! You keep talking about how youâre âDaddyâs favouriteâ but that has long been surpassed!! Donât you see it?! You have the position to make the most money -- the only guy I provide!!! While the girls have to fight for every customer and have to practically beg to have someone mount them, you do not have the competition they have! And yet, you are not carrying it at all...! You used to give me the most income and now look at you, LOOK AT YOU!â In the end, he did raise his voice, pushing the man harshly into the seat before he stood up and gained some distance between them, not wanting to get physical to the point that heâd actually slap him ---- it was infuriating. âI am covering for your ass to my boss, and he really has not the nerve to keep you around and make me look bad. Itâs either me or you. And heâd much rather keep me than you, clearly. Do you really think Iâm going to let you get away with that wanna-be-cute act of yours, so Iâll cover for you? You are in the wrong business then, honey. There is no mercy in the Yakuza and you shouldâve known that beforehand...â
As much as he wanted to cool down, he was just still so mad at the other, he didnât know how else to handle it than to actually speak his mind. âThis is not a job if youâre doing it for the Yakuza. Itâs a lifeâs work. You are in it with your blood and soul. You sold yourself to the devil, so stop slacking off, you heard me? I asked if you heard me!â
Grabby Hands
noobuyuki:
sometimes, it was truly hard to tell when tsuji was really, really angry with him, or if he was just mildly pissed off. with his facial features, he always looked angry ⊠even if he wasnât even angry. if they werenât holding the team up enough already, mizuta would have grabbed the other & pulled him back into the club room, needing reassurance that he wasnât really as pissed off as he seemed. but he decided against it. not only because of the time heâd already wasted, but because there was always the very real possibility that the man was actually as angry with the smaller as he seemed. sometimes, it was best to be ignorant to his true feelings.
it surprised the blonde when he wasnât immediately ratted out to the ace as the reason that tsuji had no jersey for that day â at least, he wanted to pretend that was the case. in all honesty, he had expected this. if there was one person who looked out for him ( even more than ishigaki ) it was tsuji. ishigaki had a sense of honesty, but tsuji knew what it meant to cover for other people ⊠a martyr in a sense. even if mizuta wanted to pay the man back for the things that he did for him, he wouldnât begin to know where to start. the man was careful enough not to get himself into petty trouble like the blonde always managed to. with no room for error, he had not place to try & cover for the other in return.Â
once the rest of the team began to disperse, doing their own training regimens given by midousuji personally, mizuta stuck back to earn a few moments to speak with the other. âsenpai, youâre the best.â he said, walking up behind the man. he was expecting his counterpart to turn around & lash out on him, tell him that he was completely useless on his own ⊠consistently relying on other people for his troubles. either that, or he would simply be ignored â which may have been for the best. âthanks.â he said over the otherâs shoulder, sure to flash his nasty braces in a wide smile.
If he had to be honest about his feelings, Tsuji would have to say that he was not even angered about the otherâs... actions. If anything, he was mildly irritated. The fact that the blond took it upon himself to not only invade Tsujiâs private property but go as far as to take an item that he needed and take it home with him was absolutely repulsive. Let alone that he would sleep in said jersey. Though... he was more so irritated at the fact that now he was accused of forgetting his training items at home, having to suck up the punishment by cycling in a school uniform -- what if he ended up falling from his bike and messing up his uniform? What if he ripped it? His mother would not be happy to buy him a new one... and he would not be either, heâd rather save up money himself to make up for it. A true martyr. He would not want anyone to go through the trouble to lend him a hand. It was irritating, yes, but he had been angrier at Nobuyuki for worse things.
With the smaller on his heels, he stood still when he referred to him as senpai ---- it was rare, truly. Usually, Mizuta had long forgotten about Akihisa and how much he idolised him... see, as the only climber on the team, he always held a special spot for most of the team. Everyone somehow looked up at him and was so impressed how heâd pull them through the slopes and the mountains, carrying them recklessly towards himself, tiring himself, pushing himself -- a martyr, yet again, thatâs what he was -- mostly the sprinters were so amazed by his skills, Ihara and Yamaguchi always looked up to him, and Ishigaki had always been thankful for his hard work and efforts. But it was short-lived with Nobu: first, it was Yasuhiro who had gotten his full attention... he hardly remembered how Mizuta looked like before he bleached his hair... but he had to say, somehow, he looked a lot cuter with the pitch-black hair he bore. Then, of course, it had been Ishigaki, after Kazu graduated... styling his hair into a weird pompadour simply to mimic their captain. And now... well, now itâs Midousuji here, Midousuji there... It had been so long ago that he was referred to as âsenpaiâ by the smaller... so it certainly picked up his attention.
âMhm.â Nodding towards the other, he shrugged his shoulder and put on his helmet, quickly changing into his cycling shoes all the while he still wore his black school uniform. It would at least get dusty, not to mention how much heâd sweat... perhaps he should take off the jacket layer? Removing it quickly, he tied it around his hips, knowing he would not be allowed to go back to the club room now that they had been wasting so much time already. He always ended up training with Mizuta -- which had been even more irritating -- the sprinters stuck together, the ace and assistant stuck together -- and because there was no counterpart climber for Akihisa, he had no other choice than that. It was inefficient training, to say the least, but what could he even say anymore. âYou think I will let that slip right? But I still expect you to tell me why on earth you thought it was a good idea to do that... and why exactly you did that in the first place?! Itâs... really something else.â

They were the inseparable gloomy duo, as everyone started calling them. Yamaguchi and Tsuji were rarely seen without each other -- and all started in spring when Akihisa became a second year at middle school. The first day of April when the new first years changed schools and had to somehow get along with the older ones, their senpais and such, it was a wild thing. Akihisa never had gotten friends with anyone, that was until he met that shy freckle-face by the name Noriyuki.Â
The boy practically looked like he needed someone to look after him, and Tsuji was more than willing to stick up to him. He had his fair share of bullies and he knew that it was -- most of the times -- not even a laughing matter for those at the receiving end. And the more he hung out with the boy, the less the bullying had gotten, which he was thankful for. Tsuji felt responsible for the other, he meant to protect him no matter what.Â
As it was with friends (or best friends in their case), eventually theyâd visit each other at home. Akihisa was really defensive about taking the other home, knowing that it was not necessarily a common thing to have a single mother; most women avoided divorces in order to keep a pristine appearance to the outside world. Not to mention Satoshi had been more and more of a brat... someone as coy as Yamaguchi would easily feel overwhelmed by someone gluing on him and asking him about this and that, without the ability to press a âPAUSEâ button on the boy.
They walked their way to Noriyukiâs home then after school, the taller leaning in a little to appear less looming next to the first year. âAre you sure itâs ok for me to just come with you? We could as well study at school, if you need my help for these subjects... I donât want your mother to worry about making enough dinner, I really donât have to eat anything...â It was just Akiâs nature to try and be as less of any hassle to people around him.

noobuyuki:
He could barely even squirm at the manâs touches, being tied up as well as he was. It was a bit tight everywhereâmaking simple things like breathing a challenge. Though, he easily assumed that this was the intent, since Tsuji would want to see him panting like an animal during the whole thing.
Helplessly watching him, he couldnât do anything to try and refuse the gag that was forced between his teeth. A few âMmmphâs of protest could be heard, but it was honestly rather pointless to try and change the otherâs mind. Mizuta didnât mind being gagged all that much either way, as long as he was more appealing to the taller this way, he didnât mind.
The only hard part of having restricted movements, was that he couldnât do anything to move against the man, though he desperately wanted more than he was getting. A muffled whineâone resembling the manâs nameâcame from the boy, though the gag made it nearly impossible to tell he what had actually said.
Surely, that was exactly what he was going for.
Nobuyuki, squirming, whining, panting -- unable to speak properly. he looked really delicious like that and it only riled him up some more. And on top of that, all the things that stubborn boy did only helped the manâs urges further and further; the way he protested, the way he struggled, it was exactly pushing all the buttons Tsuji had and it made it hard for him to be patient.Â
Moving his head down to cover the boyâs torso with small bites, he placed hickeys over his milky skin, eventually moving to his chest and teasing him in a manner that heâd circle his tongue around his nipple, just not quiet touching it, only letting his hot breath coat the sensitive pink skin.
âHah?â When the other spoke up, he could barely make out that it was supposed to be his name. And even so, the mere thought of the first thing the boy would enunciate being Akihisaâs name, it send chills down his spine and an unbearable heat down his groins. âHehe... even when you canât talk, youâre desperate to say my name? Cute...âÂ

trying to draw the connection, hayato had to think about just who the loudmouth was. toudou, arakita ⊠the two were equally obnoxious, but in very different ways. the manâs blunt attitude took him off - guard, simply trying to laugh off the question. âi know ⊠quite a few people who meet the description of loudmouth.â if anything, it was best not to feed into the manâs words.Â
pushing his bike a bit faster to keep pace with the kyotofushimi member, he assumed that they were heading off to the same hotel. it wouldnât have been uncommon of teams to stay in the same lodging. however â no matter how close they stayed, there wasnât many that would like to get friendly with the men from hakogaku. the title of kings came with a great price. no one wanted to talk to the ones that won it all. hence why most of them stayed stuck together like glue.Â
with hayatoâs never ending appetite, he wasnât making any friends wanting to run to the connivence store so late at night. he could only account his energy on the track to his energy bars, so not having enough to last him the remainder of the days would crush his spirit â & leave him hungry.Â
âAh... yeah... guess the nameâs Arakita-kun. But now that I look at you a little closer, I donât think you look anything like a yankee...âÂ
While they were walking next to each other, the tension was odd; it clearly was not like Akihisa to be so unwelcoming towards others, he knew the feeling of being bullied and being kicked around like that, so he blamed it on Midousujiâs reckless acts that his mood had gotten worse and worse. Hell, he even had been ruder and meaner towards Nobu lately, and it hurt him deeply, but he also guessed that he might as well shoot himself into his own foot while he was at it, making himself unpopular and unloved by friends and team mates so he would have all the reason to leave KyoFushi as a third year. It had been hard already with Ishigaki, who had been his best friend, and Ihara had been in a mood too because of Akiraâs Phase # 13 to abandon all sprinters like deadweight. Poor Yama... it was really no way to treat his friends like that. But in his odd counter attack, heâd just treat them poorly to push them farther away, so they would not waste a thought on him and worry about his InHigh results.
Standing still in his tracks for a moment, he looked at the HakoGaku redhead and bowed to him politely.
âI apologise for my way of speaking. Poor manners arenât usually my thing. Itâs no excuse, but itâs been really tough for the KyoFushi team...â
Akihisa really didnât have it in him to be a bully. No matter how angry he was at himself, Midousuji, the world, everything ---- he didnât have it in him to lash out on others, no matter how tempting it was thanks to their ace.
If he had to go out of the way to make space for more talented cyclists, he should not go out with a bang but more so with dignity.
