I don’t like your perfect crime, how you laugh when you lie

I get as excited about being on stage as i get about cosy things, because just the idea of seasons changing… this is the time of year where i’m so out-of-control-excited about the fact that it’s fall. Guess what’s next? Winter. So it’s two seasons in a row that I love and I can bake stuff all the time and then I can give it to people, I can try out new recipes, I can wear sweaters, I can wear knee socks… I could even buy sweaters for my cats to wear.

Happy July 9th!

That July 9th, the beat of your heart, it jumps through your shirt I can still feel your arms…

We fall in love and we don’t think there’s going to be a break-up. We think it’s gonna be forever, this is gonna be it. Unfortunately a lot of the times there are break-ups and you end up shattered in pieces on the floor, just crying and listening to music and just eating gallons of ice cream by yourself, it’s this whole thing. You end up shattered by the fact that not everything lasts forever. And that’s where I was when I wrote this song, it’s called Last Kiss.
