okay okay so the closest thing we have to Tsukki being “warm” is with Guchi, which is him being quietly supportive and being near him all the time (it’s a two-way thing with them)… But then again, Guchi is safe, has always been there, so Tsukki feels it’s okay to let him near.

Him having feelings for Hinata means Hinata gets this huge potential to hurt him. And the closest thing we have to that is his brother. So basing on his reaction to that, we get a Tsukki who barely even talks or let himself be in the vicinity of Hinata. But he’d feel proud whenever Hinata does well in practice and in games. (He won’t admit it, though.)
