H2Octopus is the layman’s term for this particularly unique creature. Somehow this octopus manages to maintain its shape which is comprised almost entirely of water; minus the lightly scaled membrane connecting its tentacles. If you try to remove it from its aquatic home it simply melts into nothing. So please don’t.

More recent-ish warm ups: some little what-I-wore mouse-fits (an idea my dear friend Taryn came up with that I absolutely adore). These are all gouache paintings that I touched up a bit digitally because the originals are only 2" tall

Hellooo here’s a little deer I drew recently. I have to say, after my defense and graduation (yet not stopping at it with higher education), I expected I’d be finally doing more art now, but I guess i'm a little burned out after all of that. Hence maybe it’s time for a series of little doodles like this one here! Feel free to leave some ideas ;p

The tide whale is so rarely documented due to how often it is mistaken for a rogue wave. They are relatively small, about the size of a dolphin. The only recounts of their songs have been from drowning survivors; described as a series of water droplets echoing off the well of a deep cavern.

Experimented a bit with a new way of detailing the tiles. Kinda like it? This particular piece took a hell of a lot of work. I’d love if you shared the vibes it’s giving off, for research purposes 💖
