First proper post for Edgewave 2026 - two fans, both united by being outcasts and their love for music, finally meet in person! As for the actual Edgewave act, they'll come up in a later post.

Image 1: This year's Edgewave festival is taking place in sunny Sulani - and the fans are soaking up the last of the tropical sunshine as evening settles in.
Image 2: Edgewave is not for the false, it is not for the faint of heart, and it is not for those who want clean, pretty aesthetics. Those who do not obey the rules, the outcasts, those that are true to themselves - Edgewave is a home for them.
Image 3: Brooke has arrived from dull Henford to meet her online friend, Māhealani, who she bonded with over their shared love for music. There's only one problem - she could be almost any woman in this crowd...
Image 4: The crowd are already cheering away, and the first act hasn't even come up on stage yet. After searching and searching, Brooke can't seem to find her friend anywhere even though she's been calling her name...
