I am ok now

Well, I was practicing a piano sheet that’s really difficult. Way more difficult than the sheets that I am supposed to be able to play. Surprisingly, after a couple of days of hard work, I managed to play it almost good. There was a part of the sheet that every time I tried to play it, it would always end up wrong. I was soooo mad at myself. Every mistake made me even angrier. I was yelling at myself. I hit the piano with my hand so hard, that I got a big bruise. Only then it was the time I realized, how shitty I was to myself. I always say that I cannot work when someone yells at me, and there I was, yelling and bringing pain to myself. The instant I realized all that, I stopped for a second and vowed to myself that I would be nicer to me from now on. I simultaneously felt a huge burden taken away from me. After that, at last, I was able to play the piece and see that I am a wonderful person.

Okay, so… did you get all that?

You know why I included “I googled ______” at the end of each list? Because I wanted to show you that I literally didn’t really have to go searching for bad stuff. It’s everywhere. It’s right in your face, if you’ll only look. I didn’t go around looking only for articles that support my point of view - this stuff is everywhere. Hell, I’ve even included a couple of articles that don’t support my view point just because they were there - but they were much harder to find than just about anything. I didn’t go googling “Trump and rape” or “Trump endorsed by KKK”. It was right there. I didn’t have to go down the rabbit hole - I barely even had to use Google. It’s right. Fucking. There.

For those of you who STILL don’t understand why a Trump presidency is so devastating to so many of us…

The nation as a majority (not as a whole, that’s an important distinction) has just shown each group listed above that they’re not worth the time of day. They have cast a vote for someone who will remove their rights from them - or at least try very hard to. I cannot look past his character. I cannot look past his policies on abortion, LGBTQIA rights, disability, or mental health reform. I do not trust this man, and he has given me plenty of reasons not to trust him, especially as 1) a woman who is 2) bisexual and 3) mentally ill to the point where it can be disabling. I’m not a Muslim, but I’m afraid for Muslims in our country right now. I’m not black, but I’m afraid for African Americans (especially with the KKK supporting Trump). I am afraid of the power he is going to take away from others, the rights he will try to violate, the laws he might try to pass. I am afraid for much more than just myself.

If you still don’t understand…. I hate nothing to say to you.

PS I’m not a Clinton supporter. Please don’t assume that.
