got invited to a concert last night for a band i’d never listened to & i went in completely blind (they fucking ruled), but one of the opener’s name seemed familiar & it’s because they’ve been following me for years??? this was my first time seeing them & they were pretty neat so now i gotta follow them back & keep up with them i guess.

annual bday aquarium visit was a success. got gifted my mandatory aquarium visit axolotl plush, ellie the seal is still alive (she’s 37 now!), & the aquarium had a new jellyfish exhibit Just For Me <3

if my annual bday aquarium trip falls thru i’m going to cry so hard it floods my home & creates an aquarium for me to live in

why is tumblr saying my photos are too big?? fucking hell man, sharing photos used to be one of my favorite parts of taking photos but it feels like everyday it gets harder to do so. between all these limitations + AI training, it's fucking bleak out here and i just don't feel like ever sharing anything anymore. thank fuck for my journal because i fear i'd otherwise feel a bit like "what's the point" about a hobby i've cherished since i was in grade school. ugh.
