Paparazzi of Gods

“A pagan?” He raised an eyebrow. Of course. But, he’d met Greeks before, and they weren’t so bad. “Well, I see what you mean by ‘not normal’.” He chuckled. “So you’re a prophet? That’s interesting.” He’d met prophets before, never liked them, really, always thought they knew better. but, Kassy didn’t seem to be like that. She had been nothing but nice, so he wasn’t going to be rude, that wouldn’t be appropriate. And now that he knew she wasn’t a normal human he felt more comfortable. He didn’t have to watch everything he said now. “What do you mean ‘one of the last remaining’?” Were the Greeks dying out? That wouldn’t be good. If that pantheon fell, who’s was next? 

The Little prince laughed at the large canine’s gentle show of affection. He took his hands and cupped each side of its head, just underneath the ears.

"I inherited my ancestor's name. The city Rome was built under his hands." Romulus replied, lowering his head and headbutted the little prince's chin with his large forehead, "What is your name, my little creature?"

“I’m, well, I’m technically human, I suppose. Sort of.” He shrugged. “But, I’m not normal. I was an archangel previously. Then things happened and now I’m not. Sort of.” He felt a little bad for not being able to explain properly, but he didn’t know enough to be able to. “What career? And yes, I do believe in prophecy.” There were many prophecies he’d watched unfold, his Father kept records of everything that would happen. Or should. Sometimes things got a bit screwed up. But maybe they were supposed to. “Why?”

Archangel. Kassiopeia couldn't help but raise her eyebrows. So he's from the other fandom... per se. She chuckled out loud at the thought, "That would have explained why I didn't see our meeting, even thought I did feel the urge to stop you." she shook her head with a harmless smile, "I would be considered a 'pagan', according to your side of the rules. And not just any regular ones, Luci." she sighed and crossed her legs, "I'm one of the remaining prophets for the Greek pantheon." If anyone heard their conversation now, they would have thought they were crazy.

Mohinder could be more awkward than strange most of the time, but those two words could practically mean the same thing anyway. He’d still been searching through his father’s belongings when he had found a few random addresses. Of course his curiosity would not let him sit idly by without at least checking them out.

Did the name ring any bells? Oh it not only rang a bell, it froze Kassiopeia right then and there in the doorway when she realized just who the stranger was talking about. "Yes... Mr. Suresh." she reiterated with a weak smile, "He's... hard to forget. He was your father?" She used the past tense without a thought. The son didn't mention anything about his father's life or death, but prophets usually had a way with certain information.

“E—exactly.” Demi just smiled. Not many people knew Nirvana was more than just a band and it pleased her to meet someone that wasn’t her cousin that knew about its Buddhist meaning.

"A freelance journalist. And part time prophet. I usually know beforehand when I'm going to run into danger, or if I would be able to get out." That was a little exaggerated. It didn't always work so smoothly, but when at least it did when it was serious business.

"She's a fortuneteller." she smiled speaking of her mother, "She's made some wise choices in her life." Romulus tapped the ground with his tail as if agreeing, staring curiously at the ancient god in the form of a small child. "Ah, I almost forgot." Kassiopeia exclaimed and patted Romulus' head, "This is Romulus. He's been with me since I was 2 months old."

Kassiopeia just smiled. When people came for her, they were usually seeking something specific. "The meaning of prophecy has changed a lot throughout the time; people can predict weather, earthquake, a baby's sex or even what he or she would look like in 20 years. Those used to be considered prophecy." she made a pause and brushed her hair aside, "People can tell those things because in a sense they already happened--you just have to see the signs. Prophecy works the same way. Why don't you tell me what you are looking for, and I'll see if I could help... or have already helped?" Oh she loved being mystical sometimes.

∫∫ { ♐ }; “I don’t really know how you could help me but I’ve found those pair of keys under the carpet…” she said smiling with the keys hanging around her index finger. “I was just wondering if they’re yours…” she ended, leaning against the doorjamb.

"Oh..." Kassiopeia frowned, hearing the keys collide not far away from her, "They might have been..." she muttered and reached to the wall next to the door, fumbling for the keys that were usually hanging on it. Romulus, her wolf companion, stood up from his corner and strolled to his human's side as if sensing her anxiety. "Uhm... can I take a look at them?" she reached out her hand, palm facing up.

“Y—yes, as in the band. But—but she likes it better if her name is associated with the Buddhist meaning.”

"The state of mind of eternal stillness; escape from all the mortal desires and suffering. Poetic."

He raised an eyebrow, “What do you mean by that?” She didn’t seem abnormal. Had he missed something? “Romulus?” He chuckled. “Nice name for a dog.” He knew a few of the old stories, not many, but a few, and if he remembered right, Romulus was one of two brothers raised by a she-wolf.  Of course, he could be wrong. But it was a fitting name for a dog. “No, no. I don’t mind. I enjoy talking to people, really. I just don’t get much chance to talk to normal humans is all.” Really, he was more often speaking to hunters or even the occasional demon, rarely ever a normal human person. “I apologize. I’m not good with words and things and not offending people. It’s all kind of new, still.” He chuckled.

"You kept saying 'normal humans' like you aren't." she said casually, and sighed, "Not that I would be surprised. I tend to meet all the interesting... beings." The modern day prophet turned her head and smiled at Lucifer. Even if the male turned out to be human, just somewhat socially awkward, there's always a way Kassy could joke it off. Although she had a feeling she wouldn't have to. "It comes with the career, kind of. Do you believe in prophecy?"
