She becomes an archeologist (she was not allowed to drop out of school) and goes on digs with her dad all the time. And when the thugs with the cursed sceptre or enchanted blade come for Indy - she’s not the screaming and shuddering female of the previous films- no she faces kidnappings and lunatic foreign agents with a smirk and a shrug, big insects and possessed artifacts don’t make her faint- because hey, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ this stuff always seems to happen when she’s with dad.

So yesterday I read the final book in the secondborn trilogy, Rebel Born. I was disappointed in the way the story turned out, with its alternate universe and impossible ~science~. It wasn’t so hard to believe in the first and second books. I still love Roselle and Reykin though. *Wipes tears for otp*

Cardan headcanon 01

On one trip to the human world with Jude, Cardan heard White Wedding pt. 1 on the radio and he loved the it - the wild shrieks and dark energy- (he’s not sure why but it reminds him of Taryn’s wedding when he was with Jude) but after exploring all of Idol’s songs his favorite is Rebel Yell -it makes him think of Jude.

After seeing a poster of Billy, Cardan wonders if Idol has faerie blood, or if he maybe once came to faerie land. Anyways, some nights when court intrigue becomes tiresome Cardan and Jude go to the human world and blast ‘can’t break me down’ and dance their troubles away.
