I can feel myself slowly encroaching towards some sense of nihilism, against my own wishes, but what I continue to witness in this world is infinitely more demotivating than anything my own mind could muster. Most people that subscribe to nihilistic beliefs do so in order to satisfy or justify their pathetic condition, rather than attempting to describe their vision of our planet. However, if I'm completely honest with myself, I'm a loser too. I'm not some successful guy, I have no friends, no job, no girlfriend, no future, and I have known deep down that I'd get here my entire life. My beliefs have further dived into hopelessness because I recognize this world is in a period of intellectual anarchy. No one can agree on anything, and whatever people can agree on is overshadowed by the nuances people always find a reason to argue over. Even if this society was all united under one ideology, not one person has the courage to prove their devotion to their beliefs. We have all been tamed as dogs that do nothing but wait for our next bowl of dog food. No matter how bad it DOES get, we are nothing but a bunch of mutts that have numbed ourselves to the point where we don't allow ourselves to resist the horrors of this world, because the people perpetrating those evils have deemed resilience as morally reprehensible. I feel as if we are in the end times, some sort of Biblical age in which sin is viewed as virtuous, and dignity is viewed as bigoted. What good is the majority vote? There never will be a majority vote, because our government hates everything about righteousness. I have nothing but hatred for the common man, for he has committed the worst sin of all against his people, INACTION.
