you don’t have to write your canon character exactly as they are canonically portrayed.

you don’t have to hear their voice in the dialogue you’re writing.

you don’t have to know what’s going on inside their head all the time.

you don’t have to know what they would say in every situation.

DON’T  compare yourself to canon because canon is the foundation of a character, and the whole point of writing is to develop your own take on a character. nobody writes a canon character perfectly, and nobody writes them the exact same.

i think we’ve established by now that i think ur heckin wonderful. honest to god, i’ve been following you for what feels like twelve thousand and one years and it has taken us up until late last year to actually start talking and … who’d have thought we’d get on quite this well?! at this point, i’m convinced that we’re the same person. our personalities compliment one another so well and i’m so happy to have found a really close friend in you!!! i hate the difference in timezones (damn you for living in australia binch!) but when we do talk, i always enjoy our conversations! i love how we can just talk about a load of random shit and it never gets boring. i love how non-judgemental you are and how we can just vent about shit without feeling bad about it! i also ADORE how you write and i love how you bring all of your muses to life. at this point, i’m convinced that you’re actually siobhan sadler. you understand her as a character and you breathe life into her. you managed to make my love for maria doyle kennedy resurface too and for that i’m verryyyyy grateful. i love that bitch!
