―EYヨさんにとってオルタナティヴとはどのようなあり方をさしますか。抽象的で答えにくい質問かとは思いますが。オルタナと簡略記号化された時点で言虚なものになった気がしますが、もともとはあらゆるカテ立てに対してのカウンターだったような気がします、かつノンカテでもないどこまでもすり抜けていくある種根無し草なノマド質のことなのかな？あらゆる理解からすり抜け、そうではない別のあり方、とにかく実にならない、逸脱していく姿勢のことかなという印象です。ある種の跳躍であり軽やかさ。最初は、ポストパンクに電子的な導入がなされた際にシンセサイザーがないにもかかわらず、普通のロックバンド編成において意図なく結果的に各楽器を電子音響的に取り扱っているように感じられるバンド群のことをいうのかな？と勝手に解釈していました。
