This is veryveryvery important. My wife was feeling down about herself the other night and asked me “why do I look like this?” And I immediately brought up a photo I had taken of a sculpture of Aphrodite I had taken at the Chicago MOMA. I said, “look at this picture. What does she look like?” And my wife very shyly answered “Me…” (Literally her body is IDENTICAL to the sculpture) so I replied “that is the Goddess Aphrodite. THAT is why your body looks like this.”

I very rarely reblog miscellaneous posts but there are some followers of mine who really need to see this.

Just a reminder that all kinds of bodies can be beautiful :) This is great

Just a reminder that this is natural and a healthy body type. Just normal. Each person which has a healthy slim body has such stomach rolls too when you sit like that or sit normal you always have a little belly. Really, to me this looks much more beautiful and healthy than all the super thin models. Sure, there are natural thin humans which always eat a ton of things but this is a genetical thing or a thyroid issue. If you’re eating normal and look like this it’s okay bc it’s one of many natural and healthy body types and this is what the model and beauty company doesn’t understand. The old greeks knew this so this body type of Aphrodite was their beauty standard. So be healthy and happy you’re looking like the goddes of beauty Aphrodite.
