“Logically I understand that, it just doesn’t feel like it you know?”

“I don’t actually, but then, I hadn’t really wanted kids before I got pregnant.” Trinity shrugged. “But it’ll happen if you want it to, Car. And Luke can be your stand-in until then.” 

“Except I’d like to have a kid at some point.”

“You're immortal, you've got time. You do know that, right?”

“It could. I’ll just probably never know.”

“Most people would probably count that as a good thing, you know.”

“No, but it might be a good idea for me to never have a daughter. It’ll keep me out of jail at least.”

“You’re a vampire, I’d think that alone could keep you out of jail.”

“I think we both get to be biased about how adorable the three of them are.”

“Well yeah, clearly. But given where they all get their genetics from, nobody should be all that shocked. It isn't like any of us are that unattractive.”

Yeah I’m not surprised that he’s cute. Although he has competition with my niece and nephew.

They’re my niece and nephew too, and yes they are very cute, but they’re teenagers now. And Lucas is my son, I get bias.

You really thought anyone would think you’d make an ugly kid? Because I didn’t.

I never figured I’d have kids, but my hypothetical children were always pretty damn cute. He surpasses it, but I’ve got good genes so no I’m not surprised.

I should meet this tiny person.

You can if you want to. He’s still amazed that there are more people then me, but he’s pretty cute if I say so myself.

It’s still in one piece. I just had to hit something before I exploded, there’s a tiny person who doesn’t need to see that.

“Yeah I’m afraid it’s honestly probably for the best. I mean someone else has to join me in the Gizmo hates me club.”

“Gizmo hates you?” Trinity laughed. “Since when?”

“There’s way worse reasons to exploit my nephew than to gain the favor of a dog,” Kheiland reminded her in amusement, “But I’m sure he doesn’t mind.”

“Gizmo and Lucas have actually become best friends. And, the demon dog...still hates me, so I'm pretty sure Beca's giant wolf pet isn't meant to like me.”

You act like that’s such a surprise

“I thought maybe since I have a kid now he would ease up on the whole hating me thing, apparently not.” Trinity admitted. “...And I'm actually exploiting my three year old, that's probably not a good thing.”

“Gizmo is…..an adjustment. I applaud Mom and Damien for living with him for so long.”

“He loves you and Damien, he always has. Now, me he's never really liked much but that's it own thing.”

“Yeah I get that. I was always afraid that I’d never see my dad again. Not that I could blame him for not coming back after everything he’s gone through in this town. And honestly? I’m still not completely sure even we’d be enough for him to come back to this hell hole for, and if he did that it’s not for Elena.”

“We’re really bad at this having faith in our parents thing, aren’t we? Like, I adore my mother, I always have, and I know she loves our family but...I don’t know.”
