"Everyone knows that talking about things have never solved anything, so clearly keeping your feelings bottled up is only healthy for you."
First Amber hc!
Okay so due to her being an Archer, she has quite a lot of upper body strength. In fact sheâs fairly strong all around, as she needs it to do her job as an Outrider. Its not really surprising that she keeps herself in good shape considering how energetic and dedicated to being one.
Many underestimate how strong she is because she isnât directly part of a Knights of Favonius and not everyone is aware what an Outrider is, much less if they arenât from Mondstadt.
I should possibly get into a bit of my fandomless OCs universe, but right now I think Iâll start with a Sylyene headcanon.
Like briefly mentioned in her about page, Sylene is considered a goddess by many in the Lytenye continent (though admittedly there are detractors). This attention was completely unwanted by her, but despite her attempts to take control of the situation and explain herself that did little to convince the populace. How do you explain to a mortal that you're immortal, know magic on a level they couldnât possibly in a lifetime and larger than any human theyâd ever see?
Even as she returned hundreds of years later it was just the same, her healing of the populace which has become weary of the ongoing civil war only led to the same assumptions. Itâs something she has simply chosen to accept as she travels through the continent, trying to see if anything has truly changed.
But if she could chose to, she would rather have people simply accept her aid and then continue their lives without focusing on treating her as a deity as she is well aware that such things will only end up badly for those who decide to become her follower.
@hcstofthevoidâ (semi-plotted starter)
There was just something quite odd with having this lingering feeling of shock, it had been so long since she truly been surprised to this extent. But spotting what she could only guess was an airship had affected her. It was a lot larger than any of those that came from the Southern Stratocracies at least as far as she was aware. It also lacked the distinct design of those, so how did it avoid simply crashing into the ground? It could of course be some form of magic she isnât aware of but that answer didnât feel quite right.
It didnât help that there was no telling intentions of anyone from the crew of the airship. It wouldnât have been the first time the continent was struck from some conquerors from abroad...but she could as well be overthinking things. Nothing had occurred that disturbed the peace so far, it was as quiet as it always was had been.
Sylyene let out a small sigh, staring out at this airship in the distance wouldnât sort out any of her questions. Much less when she could tell the weather was turning worse by the second, wind not entirely picking up yet but she was sure that with dark clouds like this rain would be inevitable. Shifting her focus back to the beach she continued her walk, still confident that sheâd be left alone for a while longer.
Though as she continued walking across the sand, she found her attention fixing itself on someone else at the beach. Someone she knew wasnât part of the local community. She could only assume this girl came from the ship, maybe this was a chance to get to know more? She slowed down to a halt, still not near the other yet. Why was this girl looking out at the waves anyway? Perhaps it was some longing for a home overseas? Maybe she was just seeking solitude...which she supposed made sense considering every other time she seen someone leave the airship itâd always been in a group.
It was impossible to guess, which was something she already knew when the thought first popped up but it didnât put her mind at ease. So she stepped closer, this time stopping next to the young woman, relaxing her posture as she indirectly joined in simply watching the waves crash to shore. There was something that was quite calming about it, despite the ongoing weather.
âI hope Iâm not intruding, but I noticed you were part of the crew of the airship that recently came here.â Sylyene spoke softly, trying to avoid spooking this person too much as the conversation would come a bit out of nowhere. But her curiosity wouldnât be in the slightest sated if she didnât at least try to figure things out.
âIt seems to be quite an impressive airship...it must be an honor to work on it.â Even if the design was a admittedly incomprehensible in more ways than she could count on her two hands. She paused briefly, her sights shifting back to the person she was talking to. There was the obvious thought that occurred to her that someone that likely was on the airship night and day while it traveled would possibly not be interested in talking about it when not abroad it.
âSorry, I realize that perhaps you are looking for a change of scenery after being on it for so long, in which case forgive me for bringing it up. Itâd be the last place youâd want to talk about.â

Sunsets were so beautiful, especially from a high spot like the cliffs of Cape Oath. While she were of course keeping an eye out for strangers or troublemakers she couldn't help but now and again take a look in the direction of the sunset. It was quite distracting even as she kept gliding from place to place and she couldnât wonder if Jean and the others were observing the sunset as well.
She was sure that at least someone had to be watching it as well...though her thoughts were interrupted as she smelt an odd smell. The smell of burnt steak.
âOh no, not again!â She had forgotten about the fact she was preparing food, despite being almost right next to the fireplace. And now the food was ruined..well only partly she guessed. She could always eat the other half of the steak.
lovelorningsâ:Â
đ- The tale of the the Peony Princess had always been a tragic one - but one that also left Misato largely unsatisfied with its vagueness and delusions of the concept that love could be created in a momentâs notice. She suspected that the princess Aya was under the same delusion that Juliet had fallen under, desperate to escape an arranged marriage. This, though - she would discuss for the one who would step up as the actor for the princessâs role.
The part Misato was more interested in was in that of playing the Samuari that had been created by the love she put into her garden. An artificial soul who had only known their desire to protect the daimyoâs daughter - to preserve the hard-working, gentle soul he adored so. He would sacrifice his cruelly short life to offer a flower that would heal the princessâs sickness.
Ah, but what a wondrous display this was! Truly representative of the garden tended to by the maiden who had been sold and married off by a father who hardly knew her to maintain peace throughout his kingdom.Â
âNo, no -! I insist otherwise, dear Helena! Cherry blossoms would have been the standard choice - not the choice of one sowed the seeds of their heart and soul into their own backyard! Simply marvelous!â
She canât help but speak up when she hears the other girl muttering about her choice of flowers - having before simply instructed her to decorate the scene at the place as she would her own garden. She had no regrets that her direction had given the other so much freedom.
âNever mind the technicalities - Iâll use these spare flowers to sew into the dress of the samurai, if nothing else. I have a far more urgent matter I need your opinion on!â
Swept away by her own excitement and inspiration, she, for a moment, forgets her fear of psychical touch as she takes her assistant by the hand to take her onto her stage.Â
She lets go of her once they step onto the center of the scene and Misato glides to the left edge of the stage. She takes a small breath to breathe in the atmosphere, eyes alight with life.
âNow - for a moment I ask you - pretend this is your garden. Youâve tended to it since you were but a child - raised these flowers as if they were your own children. The peonies, though, are secretly your favorites.â Her eyes close momentarily, one hand raised towards her with its palm towards the ground. Her expression turns serene, contemplative. Her voice shifts a few octaves deep as she narrates:
âBut now, the fruits of your labor have appeared before you on this full moon. While you contemplate your future in a political marriage youâve tried and failed to be excited for - the headaches that have been tormenting you for the past few days are that much harder to ignore. Itâs then that she appears - a samurai born of those much loved peonies. Silently, she looks tenderly upon you, endowed his a flower patterned robe. I ask you, Princess Aya - what do you think of her?â
The reassurance most certainly helped Helena forget some of the small amount of awkwardness in the situation, honestly quite pleased to hear that her choice of flowers had been impressive enough to be called marvelous. Even if admittedly she had jumped a little more than sheâd like to admit at suddenly being spoken to.
Sewing flowers into a dress sounded wonderful though, gosh she could already imagine how wonderful thatâd look. Though her thoughts stopped as soon as the other grabbed her hand. While she could, and maybe should, ask why she instead couldnât help but let the other lead her. Her heart beating faster as she just watches how excited Misato seemed to be.
The sudden task of pretending its her garden came a bit out of nowhere, but it wasnât hard to imagine and follow along initially. Especially as she just watched her friend speak, the serene expression and dramatic narration doing her no favors in terms of stilling her heart. Letting her imagination flow kept circling back to imagining Misato in the position of the samurai, her mind not entirely glancing over the rest but. How could she not adore the concept of another girl simply pulling her into a more joyful life than that of a political marriage?
What she wouldnât give for something like that to be a reality honestly, it sounded wonderful. A dream come true almost. But how would she put that into words without being awkward as heck? This was all really so much to take in, and gosh she wasnât ready for it. She glanced aside briefly, maybe she should focus on something else. Even if that barely helped, as she knew an answer was awaited and. How could she ignore something like this?
â...I adore her.â It probably summed up her feelings about the simple passion that radiated from Misato more than anything. How could someone see someone like her and not feel like the world is a better place than it was before? Her earlier thoughts of wanting to ask her out sprung quickly to mind after saying this, but right now she figured thatâd probably be an inappropriate time to do so. She took a deep breath instead, trying to settle down a little. All while moving a hand to her chest.
âIts amazing how passionate you are about this.â With confidence like that she can imagine that little could and would stand in Misatoâs way. She partly wish she could continue pretending to be a princess, even for a minute would be fine rather than one line but she has never been that good at acting like someone else.
@trinitytalentsâ said: âSo⌠weâre going to need to kiss. I know what youâre thinking but theyâre headed our way, and itâs just for a few seconds, and then weâre going to be in the clear afterwards we can stop and forget it ever happened. Deal? Okay. Come here.â It wasnât the most professional way to solve this small issue, but she knew they didnât have much time to discuss another course of action to hide currently. (Atsuko at Sonia! it just makes sense uwu)
On the Run prompts (Still accepting!)
If anything would push her off the fluffy cloud sheâd been floating on for the past two hours, that was it.
Metaphorical of course, but as she came to a stop by Atsukoâs side, the other girlâs tone was enough for Sonia to realize that she was being entirely serious. The movie theyâd seen, putting good use to some free passes sheâd been given, had been nothing short of a dream. With a happy ending where the lovers, after many trials and hardships, finally triumphed with the kiss that sealed their joyous fate. Beside Atsuko, the Ultimate Princess, much too overdressed for a film in her silk taffeta dress and strappy heels, had smiled and sniffled right along with the rest of the audience. And Atsuko, she knew, was the one person who would understand. Who wouldnât chastise her for tearing up over the sweetest romantic drama sheâd seen in the recent months.
And now, she was suggesting reenacting the Hollywood Ending. But they were no heroines in a love story: instead, she was simply a girl who suffered from a long-standing, one-sided love that sheâd been determined to bury months ago. Despite the fact that the object of her affections now suggested making that prospect very, very difficult.
All due to the fact that the theater was quite a ways away from the Hopeâs Peak campus, they were out after curfew without permission, and now several members of the school staff now approached the theater they were exiting for their own showing. If they were caught, there would be no way the incident wouldnât be reported on their records: it wasnât an official event for either of them, for their talents. It was justâŚfun, two girls pondering the prospect of soulmates and reincarnation as they sat side-by-side, trying not to reach for the same kernels of butter-free popcorn.
âBecause of nearly half the governing staff of our school headed in this direction? While weâre out after hours?â She half-whispered, half-squeaked to her, a meekness that Sonia didnât think she had in her. Gentleness and a sense of humility, yes, but meekness was not a trait she felt she commonly possessed: fortune favored the bold, if just for the Novosonian army mantra. Strike first, and strike hard. âManaka-san, I-â
But the words she wanted to say couldnât leave her lips: I donât think Iâll be able to forget it, if you give me the chance to kiss you. Instead, Sonia gaped at her for a second before she realized several things all at once: she was going to kiss Atsuko Manaka, time was of the essence, andâŚ
ââŚWe have to make it look convincing,â She finished quickly. âItâll never work otherwise.â
Public displays of affection tended to make most people feel rather uncomfortable, especially in Japan. As if they were made privy to a secret they hadnât the right to know. But they needed to look in love and successfully camouflage their most distinctive features. With her back closest to the wall, that took care of her blonde hair, but their faces. They needed to hide their faces.
âIâŚIâm sorry, Manaka-san. Here I come,â She murmured. They were in a hurry to be sure, but some things, some people, with the most beautiful golden brown eyes sheâd ever seen, could not be rushed. Golden brown eyes her blue ones now looked into, holding a gaze full of apologies and affection mixed together into longing. To keep her face hidden away from the incoming crowd, Sonia lifted her hand to Atsukoâs cheek, stroking the soft skin there until she reached her lower lip, her thumb tracing the outline of where it met one of the corners of her mouth and down and center, where her pout ended and complexion began. Her gaze too moved from eyes to lips, as she saw exactly where her own would travel, how the space between them would close.
It was only a fleeting moment before it did. Soniaâs eyes slid shut as she leaned forward, setting her lips on Atsukoâs in a soft kiss. Not gentle and hesitant nor frenzied and desperate, neither of them were particularly believable for a couple so enamored with one another in every way possible. It needed to look honest, true, real.
Something Sonia had no trouble feeling. Or acting, on those precise feelings that had lingered in her mind and in her heart since that night in Kyoto, where work had finally given way to pleasure and theyâd spent the evening at dinner before indulging in the Jean Cocteau La Belle et La Bete before exploring Mount Kurama the next morning. Through it all, Sonia had found, and relished in, the company of a strong yet tender person who thought before speaking and favored romance over logic (in fiction, anyway). They favored the same teas, the same rose scents, the latter now mingling with the taste of salt and popcorn on their lips.
It was delicious. Delicious and likely horribly fleeting: Atsuko wanted to forget, she would forget, if her proposal was anything to go by. But Sonia would linger as long as she could, as long as it was polite, to take her into her embrace and fit what felt like a lifetime of love into a single kiss.
It had to be convincing, after all.
Added final fandomless muse for now uwu (I still gotta get some faceclaim for her and write out appearance)
