“It’s not too serious,” Arwen assured her, examining the wound.

"That's good." Trinity sighed, trying to stay still. "Although I can say it has turned me off reds for a while."

“I just havnt been to the studio.” Erick chuckled. “Soon though I promise.” Erick smiled. “What piece are you working on?” 

"Pinky promise." She offered her pinky, smirking at him. "I'm kind of hopping back and forth. I don't love any of them right now, I'm too... distracted."

“Depends on what you’re willing to trade,” Flynn responded, smirking. “You know my business. Backhanders need something to spice them up.” 

Trinity frowned, not sure she had anything on her this time that would interest him - or anything at all, for that matter. "I'm guessing a stick of gum and.... twenty three no-maj cents won't do the trick?" She asked, turning her pockets out.

“Honestly, after you I was going to lock up and eat some cookie dough ice cream and watch a chick flick at my apartment,” she said with a small blush appearing on her face in embarrassment. “So, I guess I can cancel those plans with myself and go out to coffee with you.”

"Only if you're sure - those plans almost sound better." She giggled as she stood, shrugging. In fact, Hope's plans sounded absolutely perfect, but Trinity wasn't thinking about doing them alone. "Although there is this adorable little shop I found the other day, I'd love to show you."

“I’d honestly probably die in the first day,” Toby said. 

“Okay, well....” She started, twisting in a half circle as she thought. “You’ll look good in the suit?”

“Oh, she says you’re a natural, huh?” Toby teased with a smile. “You’re blushing,” he pointed out. “Is this Hope more than an ice skating teacher?”

“No.” She said instantly, softly. It was the truth - she wasn’t. Even if maybe Trinity wanted her to be more. “No, she’s just an ice skating teacher.”

“I can’t promise, but I know I can try my best. Besides, you’re really getting the hang of it, I’m sure I don’t even need to make sure you won’t fall,” she replied. She stepped onto the ice and held out her hand. “Do you trust me?” 

Trinity smiled, letting Hope boost her confidence. Really, she thought she was doing well for the few lessons she'd had so far. Glancing at her hand, she felt a ripple of excitement surge through her. "Of course I do." She nodded, placing her hand within the other woman's.

“That doesn’t sound like something that’ll really happen,” he commented when she said she wouldn’t let him fall. “You had what? Two lessons? Three? How are you so sure that I won’t fall and just bring you down with me?” He let out a small laugh when he said that.

She giggled lightly, shaking her head as she offered him a hand. "Because two or three lessons is enough to learn how to not fall. Plus, Hope says I'm a natural." She beamed, a small blush forming on her cheeks at the thought of the woman.

Toby smiled big when she said that. “Oh my God, are you seriousT?”

Scoffing as she wrapped a scarf around her neck, she reemerged, pinning him with a look. "Of course I'm serious." Trinity rolled her eyes as she shrugged into her jacket, straightening the lapels with a frown. "You'll make a good superhero."

“Hey hi, i’d like to commission a gigantic yellow duck to be painted on my house. Can you do that?” Duke teased his friend as he approached their meeting spot and saw her standing there.

“Can I give it your hair?” She asked, laughing. Trinity ruffled his hair playfully as she spoke before pulling him into a hug. “How are you? Too famous to hang out with me anymore?”

“Yeah it makes it slipperier,” Hope replied, “but it also makes it easier to skate on because your blades don’t get stuck in any crevasses. Don’t worry, I won’t let you fall.”

“That sounds backwards to me.” Trinity laughed. “But you’re the expert, so I’m trusting you.” She smiled, letting Hope lead her toward the ice. “Are you sure you can make a promise like that? I mean, you’ve seen me skate, sometimes it defies gravity.”

“Sweet,” he replied with a bright smile. “Then let’s make this a half twin movie date. You can draw me freaking out over the superheroes while eating popcorn.”

“Perfect!” She chirped, hopping up with a bright smile to go slip into her shoes and grab a jacket. “That’s it!” Trinity called from her closet. “I’ll draw you as a superhero, watching the superheroes!”
