that bullheaded nature of his would be admirable if it wasn't so incredibly fucking annoying at times. their true heights are evident on the ship, with trinity jutting her chin up in order to meet his eyes. she maintains the posture befitting of her rank: arms folded across her chest, heavy boots set at shoulder width apart, her expression a mask as always. a bare tilt of the head as neo studies her in anticipation, enough to imply consideration but nothing further. she doesn't need any physics breaking awareness to launch her foot out and hook it around his ankle lightning fast. her hand is on his shoulder and shoving back by the time he's noticed, yanking his leg in the opposite direction towards her. trinity's back is already turned when he lands flat on his back with a clang, stalking away into the shadows of the nebuchadnezzar. it's an answer enough for him to understand.
