LOL I haven't posted on this blog in literal years but I figured I'd give y'all a life update
since this blog was last updated I:
-transferred to my university and got my bachelor's in psychology
-met and married my amazing wife, came to the mutual realization we are polyamorous, met my boyfriend and now I'm in a very happy t4t4t V relationship 🥰
-moved out and am financially independent from my parents!
-changed my pronouns to it/xe/he
-been on testosterone for 10 months now!
-am at the beginning of trying to make a viable living making art
my main blog is 18+, if you're an adult you're welcome to follow me there!

if you aren't an adult or just wanna follow me on Instagram, my Instagram account is @/sperotonin
this blog is gonna stay up for sentimental and archival reasons bc I enjoy having access to my freshly out of the closet baby queer pics lol. I'll probably rb this a few times for visibility 💖
you know what? I also wanna say. It really does get better. Moving out of my parents house and no longer interacting with them has MASSIVELY improved my mental health. not hearing all their little negative comments about my appearance and friends and decisions, not being pressured to do life the way they want me to, not hearing any more of their constant transphobia and other bigoted opinions, has improved my mental health massively.
I won't lie to you. I'm poor af and my standard of living is much less than when I lived with my parents or was still interacting with them because they gave me money. but the freedom to be who I truly am, love who I love, and face my problems *my* way is worth *all* of my struggles. And you know what? I'm also free to try and improve my conditions the way *I* see fit. I'm in therapy, and there's no more invasive questions about who I vote for, I'm free to go to protests and demonstrations, and I can openly be in solidarity with and support Palestine, POC, disabled people, etc.
if you are able to save money to move out and are able to sustain yourself once doing so, do it. you deserve the freedom to be who you are without judgement from your shitty family.
