Me yesterday: huh, I wonder how my new double posts are going- *opens and watches the BbB post become my top post in maybe half an hour* hehe, wow... who knew that the self indulgent stuff would be so popular?
Me: Who wants to random facts about the BbB characters?
I'm just going to list a couple random facts. Also, if you wanna see fake thumbnails (with quick video synopsises), please tell me so in the comments! (Maybe that would bring motivation back from where it ran to-)
Eclipse has another set of arms! He just doesn't use 'em all that often. He made them back when the mechanic was still alive. It's a belt with two boxes at elbow length on either hip with ratcheted wheels that, when spun, allow many nanites to unfurl a second set of arms. They aren't as strong (around the lifting capacity of the average human) or as dextrose. However these factors make them great for stable tasks, like holding something in place. Or, say, carrying a small child? 😉
Raylin can actually change her age! Only up or down by one year though. Eclipse originally made four bodies for his daughter to haunt (literally) because he believed that she should be able to be older or younger depending on how she feels. So now when Raylin's Birthday (March 7th) rolls around he leaves her the new year-older body and places the now two years younger body in storage (just in case his daughter wants to do something she's a little too old for.)
This world's Solar actually was invited to move into the dimension we follow because one fan (*cough, cough,* Eclipse *cough*) pointed out that it would probably become dangerous for Solar to linger in his dimension, and the fan didn't want to see Solar's and Lunar's Minecraft series stop.
Eclipse is a wine connoisseur, though he doesn't drink often (unlike Sun). And he actually prefers sweet wines, and often pulls out pinot noirs, or rieslings depending on the dinner he's hosting. (And on off days he'll occasionally treat himself to a little sherry.)
Uh, ask for any more facts! I might reblog an ask game soon, but really most any question is fine. We've even got Aron asking available! (And the possibility of some Aron magic heh)

Quick warning, this is looong. You have been warned.
Welcome to my "what if Eclipse didn't end up in Bloodmoon's head?" AU! This Eclipse is very different, and somewhere between being v1 and v2 interaction wise? He's more like a mix of v1 and v4 in temperament, so I will refer to him as v1.5.
BbB!Eclipse's story is much different, given that this is a storyline where he ends up "He is completely mangled ended up in the woods somewhere in a completely crippled state and will not be able to move" as quoted by Moon in 'Eclipse is dead'.
Not the most happy beginning. In fact, Eclipse is like anger issues incarnate at the beginning, which morphs into arrogance shortly after getting fixed by an old mechanic. And after the poor mechanic's peaceful death a week later, Eclipse finds he is now the head of the small business. So he then grows it and starts some black market stuff on the side, quickly skyrocketing his capita, which he then uses to hire people (including his right hand, Antonio) and buy himself a mansion with a private office to do paper work and further his plans for getting the Star.
There was just one problem though, with the Mansion. It was haunted. By a very old young girl. Like, girl was there about 85 years, old. Her death also wasn't pretty. I won't show or speak of it without some form of gore warning first.
Anyway, Eclipse, when first seeing her (in monotone form) had, what he would consider, a strange reaction. Some code in his brain encouraged him to go into calming caretaker mode... and, darn it, how could he refuse? The small girl was so scared.
So he soothed the small ghost and got her name (Raylin). And over the following month, Eclipse split his Star planning time with playing different things with Raylin and building her something for Christmas. A body of her own.
Raylin was so compounded by so many emotions that she asked Eclipse for just one privilege. To call him Dady. (Papa was already taken by her birth father.) Melted by her request, Eclipse immediately agreed. (Can you tell why I label this self indulgent?)
Still though. Eclipse wanted the Star. Not in some sort of power play anymore but to just keep his family safe. Until one night he almost goes and tracks down Lunar and follow cannon. He just... needs to sit and build the conference to do so.... and there he's still sitting when he hears knocking and Raylin peeps around the corner, tears in her eyes.
Invited to, she curls up with Eclipse and sobs about the nightmare she just had, where Eclipse had died because he did something and everyone was mad at him. This crumbles what lingering resolved he had.
He disassembled what he had made that night and went full time into his business which very much could be called a mafia in the lightest way possible (name only).
But also due to this, we still have nanite Lunar!
Just as much as a funny menace as ever!
And also due to Eclipse never joining KC, Moon doesn't die! (I haven't dealt with that arch yet, shh)
Anyway I have more, so ask plenty of questions! I'll post with more sketches, cause I really like this AU. As in the tags, it's called "Broken but Better", so try to include, at least, the triple b so I know what to talk about.

Galexis (the darling adorable kind bean shown in the pics above) is actually a pause challenge character, who I made all my own in lore.
She is the classic quiet sweet girl. She's soft spoken but very kind and happy to help anyone with anything that's within boundaries she set for herself.
Galexis actually prefers cooler climates as she can overheat too easily. Consequently, she also likes things like cold showers, ice-cream, AC, and winter!
She loves just about any kid who is interested in her, and tends to get along with any animatronic, save Sun and Moon, especially if they are classically colored/modeled. Though it's often temporary as she learns who they are as a person, especially if the Sun and Moon are nice for the most part.
Galexis is also very conflict avoidant and often will slip away and/or hide behind someone/thing if there's an argument between others.
She also has a very very extensive backstory. Sadly It's far too much and is rather dark. I might reblog this post with an addiction of the Lore, but not right away.

As promised, the revenge chain! With art from us both! The lovely SteamPunkyMad, who was also a first timer this year, was amazing to attack again and again 😊. So much so that we are Artfight friends and plan to do this again next year 😄.

I’m still writing. I finally got to the part where Nexus, Winter, and Helios get their new bodies and wanted to share my ideas. This AU is inspired by @artist-in-training-wheels and some ideas were given to me by @princesskaori87 (especially Nexus’ color palette even if it started as a joke). @treenkah helps me make sure that I remember it’s okay to take my time.
If anyone wants to draw the designs based on my rough descriptions, you are fully welcome to. It will help me a lot with ideas since I’m not the best at doing the actual character design sometimes. It will also give me more ideas when I actually get to them eventually.

Winter and Helios
Helios and Winter looked too similar to Eclipse and Moon in my original designs, so they had to change a lot.
So I hope you don't mind, Nova, but I might have taken you up on the challenge of drawing based on the descriptions, and I wanted to share them with you! They are a bit rough, as I did them in probably an hour or two max, but I'm happy with how they turned out. I also used a few headcanons to explain how I thought of a few things. Please, don't feel pressured to use this if you don't want to, but do feel free to take as much of this as inspiration as you desire 😊 ✨️.

First up, Nexus!
Being an Ace myself, I had fun with this one. I decided to put "Our Ace Flag" on the back of their sweater as a nod to the joke of color palette. Honestly, if Nexus go swapped with an Ace flag, I think the family might not notice until the falg doesn't respond to a question. And, yes, their hands are colored like the flag as are the feet (the toe beens are the purple). The bell on his hat is always rose gold because that was the closest to a purple metal the family could find. Also freckles, cause they need something to look different, so why not? (Also added a star shaped mole under his purple eye, and now I have to edit this in. Oops)
Next, Helios.
Not much going on with his design, but it was what I thought of. Mostly, I was focused on his rays. I gave him secondary rays, like most Eclipses, but in the style of the halo crowns the Greek Apollo and (Helios the titan of the sun before him) might have worn. They also glow in the dark! And honey comb pants, cause why not?
And last, but not least, Winter!
I took heavy inspiration from the name and snow light (what my brain came up with to describe the effect you mentioned when talking about Winter's eyes). I went mostly light colors with just a few darker ones to make it pop. I also added snowflake buttons to the button up their wearing (Though you might want to click it to get a better view, Tumblr crunches things). I also gave them a silver bell in a small nod to the Christmas carol "Silver bells".
Again, no pressure to use these, I did your OCs for fun, and as a bit of a break from Artfight.
Sooo... apparently I'm rather aggressive on art fight (at least more then I thought)... I have made several more attacks and I have a revenge chain going on now! With July nearly over I'm rather surprised at the amount that's been done. I thought that I might get like four or five done. Instead I have double that. I'm honestly surprised. It's been fun though! I'll try and post the other attacks after this ends for you all. There's a lot. And I've also got IRL stuff too, so...

This AU is inspired by @artist-in-training-wheels in some parts. Disney music also helps a lot.
Crimson gets manipulated by Gaia. Since he has some Bloodmoon traits, he’s an easy target of manipulation and she is an alternate version of his sister.

Solstice is close to dying and doesn’t care anymore about being evil much. He’s still evil though so the family doesn’t like him at all.
Winter’s feelings are complicated towards their brother since they’re still family, but that is their killer
Umbra and Nexus celebrate the death since they DEFINITELY hate Solstice because he killed both of them
KC teaches his sons how to use magic.
KC has Ergokinesis (Energy Manipulation)
Reaper and Scythe both have Electrokinesis (Electricity Manipulation)
Cosmos has Atmokinesis (Weather Manipulation)
Eclipse and Flare both have Mnemokinesis (Memory Manipulation) after being connected to the Newton Star thanks to V2 Eclipse
Eclipse has faint memories of V1 and V2 Eclipse because he’s a clone of them. He has more memories of V3 Eclipse since he’s a backup.
Moon doesn’t have the memories that they used to have in the past. The only reason they know what V1/Old Moon did was because they watched the old videos on the channel.
This is caused by how they died
They’re technically a clone of the original Moon and KC is the only thing left of them
